Trump's patience won the day

Give them enough rope and they will hang themselves.

And so they did.

They are in denial.

On Tuesday night, Matt Drudge pimped a story that tried to make it seem as if Mueller was upset with Attorney General Bill Barr's summary of the Mueller report. That was misleading.

Sadly, Drudge does this all the time now as he has become a one-man CNN casting President Donald John Trump in as poor a light as possible. I can only speculate as to why but this is the world we live in now.

On Wednesday, the spin continued with Drudge declaring Barr at war with his old friend Mueller. The veracity of that report does not matter because the Mueller Report cleared Donald John Trump of any wrongdoing.

Today's spin is they will impeach his attorney general for lying to Congress.

Who knows what nonsense Matt Drudge will promote on Friday?

All this Sturm und Drang -- scored by Richard Wagner -- is just Elmer Fudd hunting Bugs Bunny.

President Donald John Trump is the most vetted man in American history. The public now knows he is the cleanest man in America.

Donald Trump can thank Mueller for that.

The investigation was exhaustive and an abuse of prosecutorial powers as Team Mueller went after the president as if he were a mafioso.

The president could have directed Rosenstein to fire Mueller at any time. He did not. He wanted to clear his name once and for all. The only way to do that was to endure the investigation.

The ruthlessness of the investigation that broke innocent people who had to hire lawyers to advise them, lest they fall into the traps federal prosecutors set.

President Trump learned from the mistakes of both Nixon and Clinton. He toughed it out. He also corrected a glaring error of Bush 43 by pardoning Scooter Libby, who was caught in the Plame Game Fake Scandal. Leaders should protect their foot soldiers.

Democrats continue to pin their hopes to some sort of obstruction of justice charge.

But there was no crime. How could he obstruct justice when there was no crime? But congressional leaders believe there is.

I swear we send our worst idiots to Washington -- and occasionally a very sane genius.

  1. The Dems should ask themselves-Why isn't Attorney General Barr not afraid of them?
Sessions would be hiding in his hollow tree.As for President Trump:"when you hang a man-look him in the eye." Clint Eastwood "Hang'em High."

    1. TDS is strong inside the Beltway. Just this morning, James Joyner of Outside the Beltway blog wrote about his change, but failed to see his derangement.

    2. But Drudge lives in Miami. No Beltway there.

    5. I haven't gone to Drudge for 2 years now.

Drudge, like Ann Coulter, never actually thought Trump would win, as the fact that they both switched to trashing Trump on 11/9/2016 shows.

They are both pretend conservatives for clicks -- the reality that Trump, unlike the usual GOPe/RINO, would implement policies that would actually advance conservative principles was too much for them to bear, so they dropped their masks.

  3. If you've committed no crime and, during questioning about it, you lie to the Man, you've just committed a crime. Ask Martha Stewart.

  4. Several have written, Trump's genius is stirring the pot. Knocking things off the table. He knows if you tweak them on Twitter it will cause them to tear themselves a part in a fit of self-righteousness.

  5. Just look at what the man DOES and ignore the blah blah blah. Today: Exec Order protecting doctors working at institutions receiving federal funds who don’t want to do abortions. Fook the baby murderers - do it on your own fookin dime, you fooks.

  6. I have a question: How is it not obstruction of justice for those in Congress trying to get rid of the Attorney General so as to prevent him from conducting various investigations into spying, FISA abuse, leaking, etc...?

    1. THATS a very good question.
And unlike the Russian Collusion Hoax there is an underlying crime. Hundreds of crimes within the conspiracy.

    2. The Constitution protects the fools from themselves. Article 1 Section 4: They shall in all Cases, except Treason, Felony and Breach of the Peace, be privileged from Arrest during their Attendance at the Session of their respective Houses, and in going to and returning from the same; and for any Speech or Debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other Place.
