CNS News reported that Yoo said, "If I were the Democrats I would be quite worried.
"And the reason why is, by appointing a U.S. attorney, Attorney General Barr is essentially signaling that he thinks it's possible that criminal violations occurred in the start of the whole investigation into any kind of Trump-Russian collusion.
"As Judge Barr said, there is already an inspector general investigation that's going to come to a conclusion. That's what you would do if you were just interested in reforming the way the department does things, the way decisions were made.
"But you wouldn't go with a U.S. Attorney like John Durham, someone of his stature, unless the attorney general thinks actually something criminal might have happened, that someone might have violated the law, that there might have been malfeasance, that people at the FBI or the justice department were acting out of partisan motives, not just out of incompetence or stupidity or they were duped by the Russians or Steele or the English or by the Clinton campaign.
"So if you are a Democrat, I think you would be really worried to see the appointment of a career prosecutor like this."

Durham has a record of putting away rogue FBI agents. I wrote about that here.
Most conservatives have a wait-and-see attitude because we know that Washington takes care of Washington, first, last, and always.
After watching Hillary not only go unindicted but had the FBI destroy the evidence as well, I realize Comey is about as high as they will go.
Still, I believe President Trump will exact a price for this that is high enough to prevent another attempted coup.
But we shall see.
That is how a lot of political scandals end - a backroom deal, a sacrifice or two, maybe some changes for the future.
ReplyDeleteOne of the top rats - Brennan, Clapper or Comey will turn on the others and tell all.
ReplyDeleteComey will do his best to see that he doesn't go down alone. I think it will go higher and with the emails, it will probably get Hillary. Some of the little fish have already been singing.
DeleteIn the Rock'Em Sock'Em Robots ring, looks like Red Rocker just got the upper hand.
ReplyDeleteDurham has been investigating leaks quietly for over 7 months.

Is that quote correct? Did Mr. Yoo say "Judge Barr"?
ReplyDeleteJust wondering.
So they're starting to realize they may have to throw someone off the sleigh to distract the wolves. Sheryl Attkinsson reminds us it's the sleigh we have to wreck.

The patsies, if there are any, will be the ones who have to obviously lie in order to protect someone higher than themselves and who realize that friends and family are at risk if they don't. This is mob level stuff.
ReplyDeleteI remain skeptical of anything coming of this. A few perp walks and maybe a month or two in a spa white collar prison may be what they need to get the clout they need for minor reforms in the agencies, and that may be the best to hope for.
I don't expect anyone to fall on a sword or bleed to death from slit wrists in a bathtub. But it is great to imagine slime like Brennan and Comey doing so.
Dennis Miller spoke of a cushy prison where the "hell hole" was a really tough par 5.

DeleteIt's like the stock market. Trends sometimes go up, sometimes down, sometimes sideways. Trends can change, too. What went up yesterday goes sideways tomorrow and down next week.
ReplyDeleteBut technical investors seldom bet against the trend.
In Washington, the trend is Republicans, not Democrats, go to prison. The trend is Republicans, not Democrats, are held accountable. The trend is, Lady Justice is peeking at the party affiliations of those involved, and taking sides.
The trend could reverse. But don't bet that.
I think Trump wants some hides to tack to shed. DimoKKKRat hides. He ain't gonna worry about tying the Kangaroo down either.

ReplyDeleteAll this and the manner which Rosenstein looked in Barr's press conference on the Herr Mueller report has led me to think he sold out others to save his own skin. He was held on to for a long time despite so many reasons for him to be fired, and kept on longer than he wished. His fingerprints are on the FISA application. He commented on trying to oust Trump claiming he was mentally unstable, though claimed it was a "joke".
ReplyDeleteI am sure too many in this mess will skate, but someone high up needs to go to jail for this. If I could pick only one it would be Comey. Though Brennan is another who should be put on trial. I think most of the Russia bit was in CIA hands, and the CIA thinks nothing of being shady operators for their goals.
If one or more of the agency top dogs go down, regardless of the Obama Regime going scot free, it taints them big time. People aren't stupid, unless they are far leftists, and it's not hard to read the tea leaves that these characters didn't act on their own impulse without having the blessings of higher up the food chain.
Well, they didn't indict Israel, Bush, Cheney, et al., for treason, sedition, and conspiracy in 9/11, so why worry about a little spying? No one died, like 9/11's 3000+, and the subsequent 1 million dead as a result of their False Flag

ReplyDeleteThe dems have made noise about going after Trump's family -- while he is in office -- and they have made threats to go after him once he is out of office. so my money is on Trump annihilating the DEM party (ending with it being banned) and Obama and all the rest serving hard time; at least while Trump is in office.
