Biden a "walking time-bomb"

Brit Hume has lived in Washington all his life.

He has seen them come and he has seen them go.

For 46 years, Hume has watched Joe Biden in action.

Hume's assessment is Biden is a walking time-bomb.

Hume said, "I like Biden on a personal basis, but I think he is a walking time-bomb. I think his age is an issue, I’m the same age as he is, my age is an issue, I think his is too... the filters don’t work as well, the memory isn’t as sharp.

"You might blurt out things as he did the other day when he said China is no competitor of ours. Now, I can kind of get where he was coming from on that, meaning you know we are the best and nobody can beat us. But that’s not how it came out and that is not how he said it.

"He is gaffe-prone and always has been and I don’t think that he’s less-so now. He’s got a lot of strengths, he’s got a huge body of sympathetic support in the party, and he’ll be able to raise money. He’ll be in this, but it’s a high-wire act and I’m not sure he can make it."

***

Gaffe-prone is a polite way of saying idiot.

Had Biden run in 2016, he likely would have won because at the time he carried little baggage compared to Hillary's fleet of 18-wheelers to carry her cargo. Donald John Trump could never say, "Lock him up."

Plus, Biden is not a drunk.

Now? I don't see it. We dodged two bullets in 2016, didn't we?

  1. Trump might not have said 'Lock him up' in 2016, but he might have said 'Lock up your daughters'.

  2. Damning with faint praise:

Joe Biden looks like a saint compared to Ted Kennedy.

    Perhaps dodged.

  4. Britt doesn't care to mention the $1.5 billion the Chinese gave Biden's coke addicted son while Biden acquiesced to their military laying claim to the South China Sea or the $50K per month Ukraine gave the addict while Biden was dangling $1 billion in US tax payer money?

Hume has been better about Trump lately but he's still in the Dem and establishment police state corner.

  5. Left Tilting Britt, the Master of Disguise, hears no evil, speaks no evil and is blind as a bat. I always pegged him as someone who dances to whatever tune is being played and would probably pimp out his wife if the price is right. Biden is a straight out loser, an unlikeable jerk who makes a rotten impression upon people who meet him for the first time. He one ups everyone and tries to give the impression he is an intellectual.

  6. If you blow up the picture of the Bomb you can barely read:"Acme-a name you can trust."
Biden will be destroyed by Trump in a debate..

If We're talking political gaffe, means he lets out a truth by mistake.

Praise be to God for small mercies.

  8. If biden ran for the senate in a state with intelligent voters he never would have been elected. He had no "filters" since he was a teenager. Who plagarizes in college for Pete's sake?

He STILL hasn't learned to keep his hands off women. If he tried that with my wife I would "take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him."
Actually, people who talk like that are generally pussies, present company excepted.

    1. Who plagiarizes in college? Some of my students, for one.

One student, in a graduate engineering class, turned in a term paper which was a complete article from a magazine I write for. I started reading it and it sounded familiar...

I used to give an F for any paper with any plagiarism, however slight.

2nd offense, I would drop them from the class with no refund.

      Shoulda happened to Joe.

  9. In more than 200 years, 2 sitting vice presidents have been elected to the presidency. A dozen or so have run.

In more than 200 years, a number of vice presidents have made it to the oval office by death (or resignation in Ford's case) None of them have been able to be elected to a 2nd full term (Not counting the stub term)

In more than 200 years, one former VP has been elected, Nixon. He got re-elected but didn't make it through his 2nd term.

We need a constitutional amendment disqualifying VPs and former VPs from running for President. It would save us all a lot of money and agita.

History shows that it is impossible for Biden to win in 2020. He could not have won in 16 for the same reasons.

He may be nominated but, as Johnson said of second marriages, it will be the triumph of hope over experience.

  11. --“Agents say that, whether at the vice president’s residence or at his home in Delaware, Biden has a habit of swimming in his pool nude,” Kessler writes in the book – due for release Aug. 5.

“Female Secret Service agents find that offensive,” he writes.

“Biden likes to be revered as everyday Joe," an unnamed agent told Kessler. "But the reality is no agents want to go on his detail because Biden makes agents’ lives so tough.”

In addition to the alleged skinny-dipping, agents are reportedly irritated by frequent last-minute trips to Delaware.

A Biden spokeswoman would not address the claims on the record. A spokesperson for the Secret Service did not immediately respond to a request for comment.--

  12. Yeah the kids will be coming out in droves to vote for this geezer. I will particularly enjoy his increasingly elderly mush mouth and slurred speech as he tries to fill a High school basketball court like Hillary tried to.

  13. My favorite Biden moment came in O's first year disgracing the office he held. O was being ridiculed nationwide for his absolute dependence on his teleprompter (to the point where, in his first press conference in the WH, he was taking supposedly random questions from the press and reading his answers off his teleprompter).

Biden, at the height of this, gives a speech at (if memory serves) the Air Force Academy. Anyway, it was outdoors somewhere out west. Using a teleprompter, but it was windy and the the wind blew it over with a satisfying crash.

Biden then launches into what can only be described as a stand-up comedy routine, riffing on the theme of "don't tell Obama" that he broke his teleprompter.

    Hilarious!
