What did Obama know? When did he know it?

I see where Judge Andrew Napolitano is now an astronaut. I mean you have to be in outer space to believe that Mueller's report “might be enough to prosecute” President Trump. I want to tell Judge Take A Nap to put the bong down. If Mueller had the goods to prosecute, he would have.

Forget it, Jake. It's cable TV.

John Solomon at The Hill is grounded. He raised 10 questions about the report.

No. 9 is the one that matters most.

Solomon wrote, "9.) Did the CIA or Obama intelligence apparatus try to lure or pressure the FBI into opening a Trump collusion probe or acknowledge its existence before the election? Text messages between alleged FBI lovebirds Strzok and Page raised concerns about 'pressure' from the White House, the 'Agency BS game,' DOJ leaks and the need for an FBI 'insurance policy.' And, as Strzok texted at one point in August 2016, quoting a colleague: 'The White House is running this.'"

No. 8 was good, as well, "8.) Did U.S. intelligence, the FBI or the Obama administration use or encourage friendly spy agencies in Great Britain, Australia, Ukraine, Italy or elsewhere to gather evidence on the Trump campaign, leak evidence, or get around U.S. restrictions on spying on Americans?"

But No. 9 should be the focus of an investigation into Obama's Watergate.

True Americans demand some answers.

Scott Jennings at CNN had a slightly different take on the subject, as he asked, "Why did Obama go soft on Russia?"

Jennings wrote, "The Mueller report flatly states that Russia began interfering in American democracy in 2014. Over the next couple of years, the effort blossomed into a robust attempt to interfere in our 2016 presidential election. The Obama administration knew this was going on and yet did nothing. In 2016, Obama's National Security Adviser Susan Rice told her staff to 'stand down' and "knock it off" as they drew up plans to 'strike back' against the Russians, according to an account from Michael Isikoff and David Corn in their book, 'Russian Roulette: The Inside Story of Putin's War on America and the Election of Donald Trump.'"

He gives Obama a good alibi for doing nothing.

Jennings wrote, "My opinion is that it was because he was singularly focused on the nuclear deal with Iran. Obama wanted Putin in the deal, and to stand up to him on election interference would have, in Obama's estimation, upset that negotiation. This turned out to be a disastrous policy decision."

That gives Obama too kind a pass.

Obama used Russian interference as an excuse to spy on Donald Trump. The way it was done tells me they had done this before because Susan Rice was way too casual in talking about unmasking private citizens whom national security wiretapped.

They convinced themselves that Trump was Putin's puppet, and used that to rationalize behaviors and actions that were unconstitutional.

I hope that President Trump has the wherewithal and staff to find the answers to two questions: What did Obama know? When did he know it?

This abuse of power cannot go unpunished if we are to remain a republic.

  1. If President DJT does not actively get this ball rolling in high gear right quick, we could lose our republic. The people (the first and primary branch of our government) will lose all trust that we are not a third world nation, politically speaking.

    2. why not? Just figure the opposite of what he says will be what happens or the facts.

    3. He seems to have an agenda. I have tuned him out for quite a while. I think Murdoch's boys, smelling blood, want the viewers from CNN and MSNBC, and they think this is the way to get them.

  4. Abuse of power - Obama, HR Clinton, Lynch, Comey, Rice. All should be indicted.
    America needs indictments and trials.
It looks like a lot of illegal actions; the actors doing the illegal stuff are criminals and should be fully prosecuted.

  5. I would be ecstatic if/when both Rodham and Sotero are unmasked in this. If I had to choose just one, I would pick Sotero since he is much more of a present and future threat to our Repuclic. I expect PDJT, the Attorney general and some of wonderful fighters in Congress to see this through.

  6. Mr. Solomon proper question 8 was not if the FBI used foreign intelligence agencies to gather evidence, but why did the FBI use foreign intelligence to plant evidence?

  7. The Russian interference would favor Hillary so Obama Administration would not oppose it.

Foreign interference in our politics and especially favoring grifter Clintons (on steroids) has been present for decades. It tends to support the status quo and incumbents so all good in DC swamp.

  8. Some of the report is hearsay, especially the partial quote that the media glommed onto, and I do not think the federal exceptions would apply.

  10. Trump was golfing with Rush yesterday. You KNOW what Rush's take is on releasing the docs and illegal immigration.

This is intermission. Get your popcorn. Act III is about to start.

    1. Trump, the master strategist, understands the optics of this. The timing of this golf game has most likely wiped the smiles off the faces of those facing possible prosecution for their coup attempt. They have no idea what these two men discussed, but the possibilities have to be frightening. They suffer chronic diarrhea and we get our popcorn. As I said earlier, the best entertainment of my lifetime.

  11. "We broke the story on Power Line in October 2014...The White House’s computers were down for weeks because of the intrusion by a “foreign power,” which the administration finally identified as Russia. It wasn’t just the White House, either; it was the entire Executive Office of the President, which comprises a good chunk of the executive branch. Nor was that all: the State Department’s computer system was hacked, too.
While we pounded away at the story, the White House refused to respond to our inquiries. The Washington press corps, which must have known that the White House’s computers were out of action, maintained a discreet silence, declining to write about the Russian hack, even though many D.C. reporters no doubt followed the story on Power Line. Why the coy silence? Because it was October 2014, weeks before the midterm elections, and the story reflected poorly on the Obama administration, which didn’t even discover the intrusion itself. It turned out that American officials were alerted to the Russian hack of the White House and State Department by an unidentified ally (I’m guessing Israel).
Only when the election was safely over did news outlets like CNN report the story..."

But giving nukes and money to the Ayatollah was the reason Obama ran. And he needed Russia's help.

  12. The Watergate thing is interesting.

The Lefties wanted the War On Terror to be the new Vietnam, but we won it.

They wanted the Collusion Delusion to be the next Watergate, but we won that.

Mainly because the Demos never left the 60s and forget The Donald isn't LBJ or Nixon.

If Trump wants to gut the Democrat party for the foreseeable future, he can do that.

  13. I have always thought that the Obama administration, since it had routinely abused its power through its intelligence agencies, went into desperation coverup mode when it looked like Trump had a chance. A proper investigation would should YEARS of systematic abuse. But it may not happen because it is hard to investigate the investigators.

  15. I rarely disagree with Don. But this statement that "They convinced themselves that Trump as Putin's puppet, and used that to rationalize behaviors and actions that were unconstitutional." is probable it's more like they were trying to convince everyone else. They knew President Trump wasn't Putin's puppet!

    No crime, no obstruction.
Trump is not allowed to defend himself form lies?

  17. Very clear in Mueller's executive summary of volume 1 that he is simply parroting the fake news and ignoring the facts that we know.
    1. There was never an investigation by the Government to establish that the DNC server Emails that wound up on Wikileaks were from Russian Hackers. The FBI never investigated the DNC servers.
    2. Papadapolous was contacted by Professor Misud. Mueller ignores that Misud was a CIA contact.
    3. The Trump Tower meeting with a Russian Attorney. All Mueller says, ignores the known fact that that Attorney was meeting with Fushion GPS the day before and day after the meeting. She was a Clinton campaign plant, not a Russian agent.

Mueller needs to be investigated. When did he find out that the FISA warrant used to initiate his entire investigation was a fraud, and why did he not stop when he found out.

    1. I keep pushing this, since I utterly hate injustice:
As we see more evidence of the corrupt role of the FBI and DOJ in the FISA warrants, the charges against Bill Ayers, the Weather Underground leader, came to mind. He was not brought to trial, as were others involved in crimes including murder, because of “illegal” evidence gathering by the government. I could not find any information that he actually had murder charges filed against him by federal or state authorities, just insinuations that he and others were so charged. Anyway, IMO, if the FISA warrant(s) were falsely obtained, it seems that the chain of evidence to cause the interviews’ process crimes about lying to the FBI and other charges, maybe even Manaford’s, were illegally charged.
I have not heard or read such a discussion in the media, but it is worth being publicly discussed.

  18. The FBI, CIA, DOJ, have been corrupted for not just the Obama years but a long time before that, where is the oversite on these agency's, that should be the first thing done as this cannot continue.
During the Obama presidency the rot became worse and he used it to his advantage with the Press help.
Now it is all coming to the forefront with the Mueller report and it is exposed for all to see, this is why many of the leftist in both the House and Senate are pulling out all the stops and everything at their disposal to stop their slide to oblivion of their own making and now we are truly in dangerous times due to their fear of retribution and losing power.

  19. I don't know whether I want all these people tried and put in jail, as I don't know how it would affect the country. But I do want them outed and all of the evidence against them put out in the public square with all the dots connected so that they are publicly shamed and ostracized.

    1. Watergate had Republican President Ford's DOJ indict 69 fellow Republicans including 2 AGs,and 49 pleaded guilty or were convicted. The country survived, but the Democrats seemed to have sadly forgotten that lesson.

  21. The Russians meddled and tried to sway the 2016 election.
Also the 2012. And all the ones prior. And the Soviets before them.
It's in their interest to do so.

    The Chinese did, too.
    As did the North Koreans.
    And the French.
    And the English.
    And the Israelis.
    And the Egyptians.
    And the Saudis.

Just as we attempted to affect their elections or selections of leaders.

That's how international politics works and has worked forever. Each country wants foreign governments who would be friendly to their own.

Regarding former Judge Napolitano, I think his hair dye has soaked in a bit more deeply than intended.

  22. I once said the media jumped the shark electing and covering for Barry. They gave their last full measure of devotion trying to elect Hillary. They exhumed the body of the dead profession of journalism and raped it to get Trump. They are done, put a fork in them, game over.
I think Don said here before, If your gonna take out the king you better kill him. Watch out swamp!

  23. Know what? Doesn't he just make it up on the spur of the moment? He's really not smart enough to do all this. Hillary and Bill perhaps and Soros for certain but not Bathhouse Barry. He's just a purple lipped stooge that has trouble reading his teleprompter.
