In the eyes of our myopic media, Obama could do no wrong, and President Trump can do no right.Ben Rhodes, WH Fiction Writer proclaims@POTUS & NYtimes...Liars?— Jean Pierre 🇺🇸 (@frenchfortrump) March 4, 2017

But the truth is Obama was a sneaky SOB who turned the FBI into the KGB.
Andrew C. McCarthy, a former federal prosecutor, is one who has believed all along that President Donald John Trump was right.
McCarthy wrote in the New York Post, "There is no doubt that the Obama administration spied on the Trump campaign. As Barr made clear, the real question is: What predicated the spying? Was there a valid reason for it, strong enough to overcome our norm against political spying? Or was it done rashly? Was a politically motivated decision made to use highly intrusive investigative tactics when a more measured response would have sufficed, such as a 'defensive briefing' that would have warned the Trump campaign of possible Russian infiltration?"
Ah, McCarthy knows the answer. There is no valid reason for a president to spy on a political opponent.
The politicization of the FBI (some call it weaponization) came from the top down. I am sure there is plausible deniability for Obama but the spying on the press, the spying on the political opposition, and the lying to Congress about it.
But he knew.
Nixon had his team of plumbers to fix press leaks.
Obama had the FBI.
That is Obama's true legacy.
McCarthy wrote, "The Obama administration decided that this norm did not apply to the Trump campaign. If all the Obama administration had been trying to do was check out a few bad apples with suspicious Russia ties, the FBI could easily have alerted any of a number of Trump campaign officials with solid national-security credentials — Rudy Giuliani, Jeff Sessions, Chris Christie. The agents could have asked for the campaign’s help. Instead, Obama officials made the Trump campaign the subject of a counterintelligence investigation.
"That only makes sense if the Obama administration’s premise was that Donald Trump himself was a Russian agent."
Baloney.
They framed him using his attempt to build a Trump Tower in Moscow as an excuse to spy.
I think the FBI has always been our version of a secret police. The problem lies in the fact that it has been tolerated for so long. It was brought into being by people in love with big, centralized government, and when conservatives got into power they just let it be. It should never have been created in the first place. Abolish it.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter in law works for the FBI. Great girl, a super fit for my son, but I’ll be damned if I’ve been able to get ANY meaningful info out of her about what she actually does. She’s also a Jimmy the Weasel Comey fan (ugh), as is my wife (double ugh) who used to dotted-line report to him at Lockheed. The best I can say about The Weasel is that he didn’t know the breadth and depth of the corruption when he took the job, and by the time he did, the Black Jesus had already had him fitted for a meathook. But you know who continues to fly totally under the radar in all this? ValJar. She is the Voldemort of the Barack Obama regime. An Iranian Black woman. She’s the Whitey Bulger of this outrage.
DeleteSaint Comey signed off on 1 FISA warrant for Carter Page.
DeleteComey, with the warrant, was stating Page was a foreign agent.
Funny thing is, Page was an FBI asset just before becoming a spy.
Comey admitted under oath that he broke the law by not telling the oversight comittee they were spying on Trump.
Not only did he fail to follow the law in that, he gave his confidential memos to self to an outside source to be released to the media so Trump can be investigated by a special counsel. That was illegal, unethical, and seditious.
He is no saint and readily admits that he, his FBI, DOJ, etc, spied on Trump, his campaign, and his presidency. It was his higher authority. The law, the Constitution, and ethical conduct meant nothing.
Comey tried to topple a sitting president!
And a Title 1 FISA court warrant is for surveillance of an individual thought to be an agent of a foreign government, an actual spy. As such pesons in contact with an individual surveillEd using a Title 1 warrant can be serveilled to determine whether they are providing information to the spy. It was a key that opens the door to spying upon the Trump campaign. Anyone Carter Paige communicates with and perhaps those that communicate with Carter Paige's contacts.
ReplyDeleteAs such Title 1 is supposed to issue only when it is assured that there is a spy that need to be watched.
For the record Carter Paige isn't a spy and has not ever been charged with any wrongdoing.
The day that Trump moved his campaign headquarters from out of Trump Tower was the day after he learned the truth.
ReplyDeleteObama weaponized everything,,,,the IRS...even the National Park Service. Obama's reign of terror needs to be exposed and prosecuted.
ReplyDeleteThat was June 7, 2016, around the time Obama sought a FISA and was turned down.
DeleteNeutral observers on site were astonished at the power Jarrett and Michelle had over Obama. It was reportedly embarrassing to watch. It is unlikely neither was aware of whatever his involvement might have been in attempting to ruin Trump. Jarrett was especially officious in her duties to protect her employer and in fact still has the job.
ReplyDeleteWhy this desire to absolve Obama?
DeleteNot an absolution of Obama but a widening of the exposure of the corrupt cabal.
DeleteObama was the Manchurian candidate - a willing, lazy and intellectually dishonest actor on the stage. The script and direction was given by others.
Knowing who they are and who owned them are keys to wiping out the entire nest of traitors. Otherwise, they'll just reproduce as they have in the past.
Not Manchurian but Therian! Not that it makes that much difference.
DeleteJarrett was the brains behind the operation. As Poopsie indicated above, Obama was just the puppet reading his script off his ever-present teleprompter; he did pretty well unless there were hard words (such as "corps") that he was unfamiliar with.
DeleteAnyone watching him flounder when he was speaking impromptu should be disabused of the notion that he masterminded anything.
Texas dude, Barry was a puppet. Listen to his speeches, when he went off script, he was lost. Moose and ValJar were his handlers, the strings between the marionette and the manipulator.
DeleteEskyman, the Corps mistake is understandable, the only Corps he knew was the Washington press corps, and Hell'n Thomas was the face and soul of it.
DeleteWaiting to see who will crack first - Comey, Brennan or Clapper. Maybe McCabe or Strzck. Then it will be really fun to watch.
ReplyDeleteClapper, the dumb bureaucrat.
DeleteThe Surveillance State--like catnip to Communists.
ReplyDeleteObama was a weak "man" -- no father to speak of -- embarrassing in itself, sort of like Bill Clinton's situation. It vexes them and they get into all sorts of mischief. When their bossy, manipulative Moms are gone, they turn to their wives and other females. Barack was gay, so he got Valerie as an advisor, kind of like a sister-brother relationship. No threat of "Me, Too" escapades. Clinton, however, was sex crazed, using his public offices as a means to have Secret Service/Arkansas State Police "protected sex" with a variety of women he encountered in the course of a day. Hillary knew this and surrounded herself with not-so attractive women, like her lawyer Cheryl Mills or Huma or Susan Thomases (remember her?). In all these cases you have advisors who would walk over hot coals for their bosses. Think of Susan Rice, lying repeatedly to the media about Benghazi. Notice how Obama never had a close white, male Washington insider advisor. Never played golf with the any members of Chevy Chase CC; so no in-crowd members really knew him. Michelle never tried to mix it up with the Georgetown Ladies set either. Not saying this is a bad thing, but it demonstrates how the Obamas were working undercover from Day One in 2008. No media curiosity about this either. I think they knew he was high as a kite a lot. In way over his head and he knew it.
ReplyDeleteThe morale of the rank and file FBI agents must be in the gutter. From heroes to accomplices to treason in a few short months. Here is hoping that some high level heads will roll, but I'm doubtful.
ReplyDeleteI have been so angry with the FBI,CIA,DOJ, Press, for a long time and have decided to vote for President Trump again, and will never vote for any Democrat ever.
ReplyDeleteKate
Welcome aboard The Train!
DeleteI will definitely vote for Trump again, but I'm less than thrilled that Trump has apparently replaced MAGA with MIGA.
DeleteThey tried to frame him, they tried to entrap him and set him up, and they tried to use his normal business dealing as "spying".
ReplyDeleteThey are Deep State criminals, abusing their power and positions, and frequently doing illegal acts.
Where is the Special Prosecutor? Or the IG? Many hope more indictments are coming.
