“Don’t lock her up! We want her to run again”

Much has been written about media, Democrat and Never Trump reaction to the good news that our president did not collude with Russians, and won the 2016 presidential election fair and square.

But the Republican reaction was more fun and interesting. I will write about that. I mean, how many gallons of liberal tears can you drink before it tastes like watered down Old Milwaukee beer?

(Anyone on MSNBC weep on 9/11?)

President Donald John Trump knew Bungling Bob Mueller's final report would bomb. He decided to be in Mar-A-Lago when the report fell in a late Friday afternoon drop.

Sidekick Senator Lindsey Graham gave a Lincoln Day speech to raise money for Palm Beach Republicans, which is like dumping sand in the Sahara.

Graham said of his friendship with The Donald: “We found a lot in common. I like him and he likes him.”

He joked about moving the embassy to Jerusalem: “There will be a Trump hotel there in 10 years.”

Politico and the rest of the press was not invited.

Nevertheless, Politico reported, “The senator repeatedly tossed out what one of the attendees called 'red meat' for the conservative crowd, calling for an investigation into Hillary Clinton and the circumstances surrounding the creation of a largely unverified dossier about Trump’s alleged ties to Russia. He also complained about alleged Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act abuse, an issue that he is investigating as chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee.”

Red meat. Apparently only Republicans throw that.

The crowd chanted, “Lock her up!”

Graham objected.

“Don’t lock her up! We want her to run again.”

All in all, a merry time was had by all. Justice prevailed. Enjoy. Celebrate. We resume the battle on Monday.

  1. What has happened Graham is clearly tied to the demise of McCain..

  2. mccain was a POS and while he is dead, he is a dead POS. Dying didn't make him noble.

    1. From this 1960's veteran, McCain was a cocky and spoiled fighter pilot, a hero as a POW, and a stab-in-the-back RINO in the Senate. But no one can take away his exemplary actions as a POW.

      Someday the NVA will talk.

  3. Graham's running for re-election. Afterward he returns to form (like McCain would do), approximate shape and smell of a POS.

    1. Don't think so. St John of Hanoi talked the talk, but Graham seems to be walking the walk.

  4. Graham never knew another country he didn't want to bomb, occupy, or instigate a coup even if it was a democratic nation. But he's only half as awful as McCain was.

And they'll never lock her up or anyone else although they may toss us a scapegoat or two. Podesta being the leading candidate unless he has too much dirt on them.

  5. Graham is convinced, by the Kavanaugh fiasco of the Dems, that they are not in good faith.
He's not yet convinced Trump is worth supporting.

I'd like him to be strongly in favor of a Special Prosecutor to look at gov't agent obstruction of justice and destruction of evidence. Even if Trump is, publicly, not enthusiastic about it. Maybe even better for Graham, and the nation, if it's not Trump leading on this ... but the result is justice:
    Lock Her Up

    1. I think that’s a significant part of it but I think 2024 is driving this too. He’s building his bona fides for the “common” GOP voter.

  6. How can one speculate about anything in DC? The entire place operates on threats, blackmail and bribes.

Wouldn't it be fun to see a detailed chart on who has what on whom? Pence is wise to ask his wife to accompany him on high risk occasions. If I were dropped into the middle of that cesspool, I've have a body camera on 24/7.

  7. When I was in real estate I had taken precautions like Pence. Too many predatory Women-one reason (among many) I don't fakebook or twitter.
I didn't want to ruin my marriage or have to visit my wife in jail for scalping a certain red head. She's a descendant of Nancy Ward of the Cherokees in North Carolina-look her up..

  8. Only Republicans throw red meat. Democrats throw gray tofu to their crowds.
