So it is.

Fox News reported on Monday, "A Vans shoe store employee was fired after he allegedly cursed at a 14-year-old customer because the teen was wearing a red 'Make America Great Again' hat.
"The unidentified employee, working at a store in Overland Park, Kansas, seemingly said 'f--k you' to the teen as he appeared to be shopping with his family, an encounter that was filmed and uploaded to social media."
Then there was Kino Jimenez who saw 16-year-old Hunter Richard wearing a red MAGA hat at a Whataburger in San Antonio and began harassing him. Jimenez swiped the hat. Police later arrested him and charged him with theft.
He lost his job too.
Last month, a Fake Vietnam veteran named Nathan Phillips saw a group of kids in red MAGA hats at the Lincoln Memorial. Philips tried to provoke an incident by beating his tom-tom and chanting in the face of a 16-year-old.
He won't lose his job. He has none.
What happens when a crazy person buys a couple of red MAGA hats?
You get Jussie Smollett.
As President Donald John Trump has has done with the news media, he has not driven these men crazy. He merely has exposed that they are coo coo for Cocoa Puffs.
Crazy detector. I like that.
Lefty Matt Lewis explained the media's reaction, "Smollett’s story appears ready to join Duke Lacrosse and the University of Virginia rape in a long line of hoaxes that many media outlets and political leaders were quick to fall for because it fit their preferred narrative. It's not enough that Donald Trump is a bad president, we are hell-bent on the idea that he has lit the match of hatred that incites and inspires violence. This theory explains why we were quick to believe the worst about those smirking white, MAGA hat-wearing Covington kids, and it's why we were quick to believe the Smollett story, too.
"It is easy to understand the psychological reasons why 21st century poseurs cast themselves as the injured party. What’s more difficult to comprehend is why an already-struggling media industry is so ready to alienate half the country, and reinforce Donald Trump’s dangerous line about the Fake News media in the process."
The news media abandoned journalistic standards of fair play believing this would topple President Donald John Trump.
Instead, they toppled themselves. It's suicidal. It's self-defeating. It's crazy -- and you don't need a MAGA hat to detect it.
I prefer idiot detector, but crazy detector works and doesn't get certain parties upset.
ReplyDelete"Instead, they toppled themselves. It's suicidal. It's self-defeating. It's crazy -- and you don't need a MAGA hat to detect it." Look at the Jews supporting the dems in general, tlaib and omar inparticular. Same thing, suicidal.
ReplyDeleteI'm Jewish, I don't support them.
DeleteMost orthodox Jews vote Republican, over 55%.
Thank you, mandel.
DeleteUnfortunately they are outnumbered by Reform Jews and secular Jews who overwhelmingly support and vote for Dimocrats. Suicidal. - GOC
DeleteSo, then, would they be JINO's?
DeleteJewish in name only?
mandel, don't worry, you're not alone, I'm stuck with my Catholic cohorts and the fact that many of them have a preference for the party of death.
DeleteIMHO, those Jews who are still supporting the Demcorat party, well, like modern day Anglicans, their true faith is in Progressiveism. Unlike the Anglicans (et alia), they don't attend a cultural meeting on Sunday mornings, but on Saturdays.
DeleteGuys like John Cameron Swazi and Edward R Murrow and even Walter Mitchel Would be appalled at what these clowns have done to the fourth estate.
ReplyDeleteI thought Phillips was a Veteran. A Veteran who never saw Viet Nam. We've come a long way when spell check doesn't recognize the word 'Viet Nam.'
ReplyDeleteHe's a veteran. So am I. But Vietnam veteran is above our pay grade.
DeleteWasn't he called a "FrgidaireBorn Ranger" for a reason?
DeleteMAGA hat for me, Trumpenfreude for thee.
ReplyDeleteMatt Lewis paraphrased: Sure we are driven by sheer hatred to engage in irrational self-destructive behavior, but we can't let that cause us to question our basic assumptions. Keep it up, dudes.
ReplyDeleteQuestion: What does those three stories have in common?
ReplyDeleteClue: 14, 16, 16.
Answer: Adults picking on kids.
Conclusion: Leftists pick their victims very, VERY carefully. If they tried it on a conservative of their own age, chances are their intended victim would rip their heart out and hand it back to them in a box.
Or laugh them to scorn.
DeleteI've had a liberal friend trying to climb back from his rhetorical ledge when he declared Trump and all his supporters Nazis. I teased him that he's reached the upper limits of showing his displeasure how does he expect the democrats to govern with half a Nazi country? Will they need to learn "Austrian"? :-P
ReplyDeleteI love the cartoon of the kid with a MAGA hat labeled "Hate Crime" where the "e" has slid off to make the phrase become "Hat Crime".
ReplyDeleteJimNorCal
Regarding Hollywood...how would you like to be a talent agent representing these people? It's your job to get them work and they're out there making asses out of themselves and alienating half of their audience. How many texts must these dopes be getting from their agents, "Shut the hell up!"
ReplyDeleteGaryB
And people wonder why Bebe Glazer is a chain-smoker.
DeleteDin, I wonder how long it will be before you add the media industry to the Trumpenfreude list?
ReplyDeleteSome media words that always irritate me: "allegedly," & "seemingly," when the activity being described is on video tape and is not in any way doubtful. It happened; there is proof; it's not "alleged," that's spin to provide doubt where there is none.
ReplyDeleteAlso, Lefty Matt Lewis serves as a good example of What Not To Do: he says, "It's not enough that Donald Trump is a bad president" like that's a fact instead of his opinion; he says "we were quick to believe the worst about those smirking white, MAGA hat-wearing Covington kids" but a smile isn't a smirk, that's again his opinion; he concludes his rant with "Donald Trump’s dangerous line about the Fake News media" which misstates the danger, since it's the false "news" that's dangerous, not Donald Trump telling the truth about it.
There's more spin than a toy top in his speech! Hmm. Does he work for a #FakeNewsMedia outlet?
Expressing hatred toward children shows the world you're a good person, I guess?
ReplyDeleteI think of my MAGA hat as a mirror into the soul of the person looking at it. If you look at my MAGA hat and see bigotry and hatred, then that's what's in your heart.
ReplyDeleteIf you hear the "dog whistle", maybe you're the dog.
Deleteyou spelled 'that means' with the letters maybe.
DeleteThat's too deep for leftists.
ReplyDeleteHysterical laughter.
ReplyDeleteDon, sorry to be a grammar Hillary, but that's cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs.
ReplyDelete---Fred
why an already-struggling media industry is so ready to alienate half the country, and reinforce Donald Trump’s dangerous line about the Fake News media in the process. ??
ReplyDeleteWhy? Because they are part of the PC-Klan, and an e-lynching is so much fun. And seemingly harmless -- to the PC-Klan members. It's so much fun, it becomes a habit, and then is done IRL (In Real Life), with the same fun "superior morals" as in an e-lynch.
All their friends believe the lies, so they do too. That's how Klan mobs work.
The Dems have just replaced their prior KuKlux Klan with a new PC-Klan, and a different target.
But same kind of tribal hatred.
