Bleak week for the swamp

The Washington Establishment is having a bad week.

First, Andrew McCabe has a new book out and is so desperate to peddle it that he is telling the truth: there was a conspiracy to push the Cabinet to overthrow President Trump.

It did not go past the talking stage, but he is showing fair-minded Americans what they have long suspected: the system is rigged against The Donald.

Second, along the same lines, Bungling Bob Mueller is about to admit what we knew along: he's got nothing.

The Hill reported, "Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper said Wednesday that he's far from sure that special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation will clear up questions about President Trump and Russia.

"He said he was hopeful the Mueller probe will provide some answers, but warned it might not even draw a conclusion on whether there was collusion between the Trump campaign and Moscow."

Despite the power to bankrupt anyone with indictments for the flimsiest technicality, he cannot find anyone credible to roll over on President Donald John Trump, his three oldest children, or his son-in-law.

Americans will see that after two years of very thorough investigation reveal President Trump is the honest man who plays by the rules.

The third reason DC is glum is their favorite gay black actor was just busted for being a liar. Jussie Smollett's staged attack is the latest hoax hate crime to explode in the face of liberals.

Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, and the rest of the race-baiters got their comeuppance. It stings to be so wrong when you are so self-righteous.

On top of that, President Trump is getting his wall. DC can delay it, but they cannot stop it. All those poison pills that the press reported were in the budget resolution do not exist.

And DC is depressed because his foreign policy works.

The Associated Press reported, "With their second summit fast approaching, speculation is growing that U.S. President Donald Trump may try to persuade North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to commit to denuclearization by giving him something he wants more than almost anything else: an announcement of peace and an end to the Korean War."

One year ago, Washington warned that President Trump would stumble into a nuclear war.

Six months ago, Washington warned that the Singapore summit was a set-up.

But now we know the truth that I have shared with readers for two years now: Donald Trump is ending the Korean War.

Come to think of it, I also told readers the Russian collusion conspiracy was a lie.

It is not that I am a smart man or a particularly wise one. I just know the difference between good and evil. Donald Trump sides with the angels.

And if all that was not enough, peace is breaking out in the Middle East, which severely depresses the people in Washington because war is so good for their business.

The Wall Street Journal reported, "Several hundred of the last civilians trapped by Islamic State in the militant group’s remaining sliver of territory left on Wednesday, suggesting the extremist group was near a surrender to U.S.-backed Kurdish forces."

Remember when Congress tried to force the commander-in-chief to keep troops in Syria?

Once again, Donald Trump was right and his critics were not.

Finally, after pinning their hopes in December on the stock market tanking, Washingtonians have watched stocks rise 8% in the last six weeks, wiping out December's losses.

I liked to ride the roller coasters at Euclid Beach Park when I was a kid. This explains my affinity for the stock market.

And why I like The Donald.

President Trump will have his ups and downs, but this is a very good week for him, and therefore, it has been a good week for the country. Depression is setting in on the people in the capital city. The swamp is draining and there is no plug for them. None.

  1. Meanwhile, The Black Jesus shows up court side (natch) at the UNC-Duke game last night looking like an extra in the Al Pacino film Cruising. Only the grace of God pulled us through those eight awful years. As the Brits say, It was a very near thing.

    1. Amen to that-- a very near thing indeed!

  2. Not sure I like the roller coaster analogy for the stock market unless we get one where the exit is at the top.

  3. Here's hoping the end of the Mueller thing is used to clean up some agencies.

  4. Not sure if ignorant of the crimes of Manafort or just pretending to be so. Little difference. The campaign manager for Donald Trump had a primary objective of getting "whole" with Oleg Deripaska.

There's a reason debt is seriously considered when granting security clearances. The struggles of Little Jared to get his clearance are indicative of the core ethical problems of Trump & his family.

As the self proclaimed "king of debt", Trump was open and cultivated as an asset. Offers of a penthouse in Trump Tower Moscow to Putin are just tip of the iceberg. This from a man who claimed no business dealings in Russia (why the shifing stories?).

As Putin makes threats to the United States he also echos the talking points of Trump supporters by complaining about the "deep state" hobbling his asset Donald Trump. And there it is, the conspiracy born in troll farms of St Petersburg planted in the feeble minds of paranoid, weak, old white men.

    1. What are you talking about, Anon?

Have you thrown out your Little Red Book?

Both Jared and Ivanka have had Top Secret clearance since about May of 2018. The news made it sound as if they where given special treatment and had hiccups, but they didn't and there was no hiccups.

General Kelly downgraded all interim clearance ls till a better process was put into place.

Go peddle the propaganda somewhere else.

    2. Nony the niny needs a better supplier. His meth stash is tainted and his last few brain cells are suffering.

    3. Stop smoking and put the bong down reads like a pot-fueled Term paper-as an old professor I knew said-"This is drivel!"
I won't say what the circumstances were..

    4. Nony, read Psalm 35 and then get back with me. God wins, every time. Yours is a losing battle. Heckuva couple weeks you’ve had here, seeing all the LibCommie fortresses fall like buildings in an earthquake. Even Saul of Tarsus had his Damascus Road moment. Time to give it up, brother.

    5. So, is Putin enjoying his imaginary penthouse in the Imaginary Trump Tower in Moscow?

    6. They pay you for this?

  5. Let's see.

The clapper: eletronic gadget to turn on or off any switch controlled electrical circuit.

The clap: a slang term for an STD.

Thus, combine the two and, by clapping, turn off the STD?

    Uniparty thinking.

As for numbnuts, keep up the uniparty thinking.

    You got a talent.

  6. Now that he is charged, I wonder if Smollett will be awakened at 5am by two dozen heavily armed Justice Dept goons or will he be asked to surrender himself at his earliest convenience?

    1. He is a nobody, injustice won't waste FNN's time.

  7. A bad week for the swamp is a great week for us deplorables. MAGA.

  8. From Wikipedia:

Jussie Smollett's mother's maiden name was Harris? Nothing to see here folks.

  9. "Paranoid, weak old white men" like Schumer, Nadler. Schiff, Biden, Comey, McCabe, Brennan, Clapper, Scarborough, Acosta, Zucker, Mueller, Rosenstein, Strzok, Podesta, Steele, Simpson?

They're the only ones who employed Russian troll farms.

  10. I dont know what there is to be happy about. DJT is surrounded by enemies. The country is being invaded by illegal immigrant Democrat voters. Republicans are as bad a Democrats. Rosenstein still has a job. Socialism is on the rise. The Left has succeeded in dividing us by race sex, gender, etc. with no end on sight. The rule of law doesn't exist.

    1. President Trump is still Truckin'. Wall IS being built. Dems have NO viable 2020 candidate. #FINISHTHEWALL

  11. Rod's getting out while the getting is good, he hopes.

  12. Seeing as Steele worked for Deripaska it's just as likely the latter used the former to exact his revenge remember who else Deripaska had hired

  13. Don, I like, but do not yet share, your optimism about the swamp draining.
Glad Trump and America had a good week.
We need more indictments, like against Jussie, but especially against those deep state criminals.
