Peace is breaking out. Media won't cover it

Kim Jong Un was in Beijing this week as U.S. trade officials met with their Red Chinese counterparts. Behind the talk of tariffs and trade deficits, the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula loomed. A war that began 68 years ago nears its end.

The American press is ignoring it, instead nattering on about nonsense.

The big headline in the Washington Post today was, "Trump has concealed details of his face-to-face encounters with Putin from senior officials in administration."

So what?  President Trump does not report to them -- they report to President Trump. Basic civics are beyond the comprehension of reporters out to get the man we elected president.

Which is why the Fake News Media hides this good news. Democracy dies in darkness, and the American press is become darker than the ocean's floor.

The Korea Times reported, "North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has reaffirmed his commitment to the denuclearization and vowed efforts to produce good results from his second summit with U.S. President Donald Trump, Chinese state media said Thursday.

"Kim made the pledge during his summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing on Tuesday, according to Xinhua News Agency. Kim was in China for a four-day trip, his fourth visit to the neighboring ally in about 10 months."

His exact words were, "The DPRK will continue sticking to the stance of denuclearization and resolving the Korean Peninsula issue through dialogue and consultation, and make efforts for the second summit between DPRK and U.S. leaders to achieve results that will be welcomed by the international community."

Peace. What a novel concept. President Donald John Trump's uncle was a physicist at MIT who schooled him on nuclear weaponry. Since the 1980s, Trump has desired to bring an end to the Korean War. He wanted Reagan to appoint him to negotiate an arms agreement with the Soviet Union.

I have faith in the man.

  1. If they rename the Nobel the Trump medal people might start believing that it means something again.

  2. I gotta believe a lot of world leaders walked away from meetings with the Black Jesus thinking, Boy that guy is a delusional milquetoast. Well, except Israel. And cultural Jews loved him. Birds of a feather...

  3. The lamestream media hates peace and loves chaos disruption and misery. Read the nyt or wash compost for 20 minutes if you can stand it -- guaranteed to inflict depression and despair. Nothing that more taxes and govt cant fix of course. Trump should start drawing down forces in s korea. Maybe if he goes slowly the media warmongers wont notice.

  4. Reagan's administration was plagued by an overpopulation of Bushies. With those turds blowing in his hear, it's wonder he got anything done at all.

  5. The media and the liberals (redundant, I know) still paint him as a war monger and a threat to start WWIII.

  6. It seems that Code Pink has gone to visit Iran. It would be a real hoot if they got taken hostage and had to rely on the negotiating skills of PDJT to get them out.

    1. The thing about hostage taking is that somebody has to want the hostages back.
      I see a problem here.

    3. Imam: You can have them back for $1 billion.
      Trump: No.
Imam: You can have them back for $500 million.
      Trump: No.
Imam: You can have them back for $100 million.
      Trump: No.
Imam: You can have them back for $1 million each.
      Trump: No.
Imam: You can have them back for $1 million for all of them.
      Trump: No.
Imam: Okay, you win. You can have them back for free.
      Trump: No.
Imam: What do you mean, “No?”
Trump: You’re gonna have to sweeten that deal.
      Imam: How much?
Trump: How much did Obama give you?

  7. Never trust a communist. No matter what they say the opposite is usually the truth. We learned that from the Russians during the Cold War and those lessons learned should never be forgotten. Regardless of what Kim Jong-un is saying the truth is 180 degrees different. Jong-un is luring the South Koreans into something very destructive, which doesn't require nuclear weapons, which is why he is playing the game of pretending to get rid of his nukes, as the South Koreans open their borders, open roads and railways that have been closed for 7 decades. Not a good situation.

    1. Lol... The obvious solution... Don't attempt a peaceful resolution? You don't have to trust someone to negotiate with them. We have been in a technical state of war for decades - They are responding differently to Trump than they have to other, more predictable presidents - Why would we not attempt to capitalize on that? Just keep our eyes open.

  8. I was thinking the other day. Trump is a project guy, which means he's not tied to linear thinking on bringing something to completion. He expects ups and downs.

But he's also a showman. Something he got from his father, who literally ran showboats along the NY beaches. So Trump is also got the discipline to bring the "big" event on suddenly. The many projects Trump has started aren't going to be dribbled out. He'll leave them in the shadows of backstage until it is time for the unveiling.

It's going to be an exciting couple of years. And the 2020 candidates are going to be littered across the field.

    1. President Trump's father also supposedly ran a whore house in Canada. Prostitutes are moral and virtuous compared to the C*ck$u*kers in Washington.

    2. Grandfather ran a hotel. Yes he rented to prostitutes, and anybody else. That's not a brothel.
