Press grasps at straws in Iraq

They thought they had him at Christmas. The Dow was down. The government was shut down. And President Trump tweeted, "I am all alone (poor me) in the White House waiting for the Democrats to come back and make a deal on desperately needed Border Security."

Aha! Pundits who have been wrong for three years took victory laps. They said there was blood in the water. Democrats rolled out the talking point that he was the first president in 16 years not to visit the troops at Christmas.

Then he visited the troops.

And the Dow lit up.

And no one cares about the government shutdown. It's Christmastime. Who works?

Even federal workers should not care. Some of them are enjoying time off knowing Congress will pay them anyway eventually for not working.

The troop visit had the press literally shaking. They knocked his speech as a political speech, but those attending greeted him with the chant USA! USA! USA!. Someday, the courts will ban that chant as hate speech. Till then, tough noogies.

The press spent most of the day trying to doxx the airman at the base in Ramstein, Germany, who brought MAGA hats for the president to sign. The air force command in Europe said pfbt. Its statement read, ""Any time the commander in chief offers the opportunity to meet with Airmen, such as this official holiday visit by the President and First Lady, Airmen are welcome to participate. No policy violations have been brought to our attention at this time."

Then the press knocked Melania Trump's choice of shoes. She wore boots. Boots! BOOTS!!!

The press just did not like her presence.

However, Hillary went into a war zone. Heck, Pat Nixon did too.

Finally, the Washington Post posted a story, "Trump's visit to Iraq prompts concerns about politicization of military."

This is the same press corps that has repeatedly and openly sought a military overthrow of the president.

The really clever thing in all this is that the Trumps did nothing but carry out a duty a modern commander-in-chief has over the holidays.

And the press went nuts. Loco. Grasping at straws. And it showed. After a while Americans ask themselves why can't These People cut him a break?

Iraqi leaders are miffed that President Trump visited his troops. Some of them want the United States to leave Iraq.

Be careful of that which you wish.

As for the press, I advise them to enjoy the Trump presidency because no other president would tolerate eight years of daily Fake News and Faux Outrage over koi fish and the like.

He complains, sure, but he doesn't act. The next one won't complain, but boy will he act.

  2. President Trump's visit to the troops reminded me of when President G.W. Bush pulled the same thing on the Press. His visit was on Thanks Giving, and the press mocked him for it.

  3. The military vote mostly R, the press is now communist, or mostly so. The press has always had a love hate relationship with them but now mostly the latter. Yesterday the WSJ attacked the Beezlebub Post for poiticizing Trump's visit as damaging press credibility, as if there were any, and NBC was forced to retract its lie that he didn't visit them but only after the Beezel Post attacked Them for the story. However like the lying Deutche Beagle they left the post up for "transparency". A bad week for the press, turning on each other like hyenas. Bad bad.

    1. Yes, it was indeed a bad, bad week for the press and the presstitutes, wasn't it?

That's the reason I enjoyed it so much!

    2. They have all traded in a sense of shame for cashn' clicks. Beezlebub himself, after he bought his toy and its matching set of lead type journos, went in person to show them how make it happen,or so his editor said. Perhaps the unprovoked assault on NBC (Comcast) is the shadow of predation to come in the deep broadcast space by the Emperor himself! Legacy 'starships on fire off the shoulders of Orion'. What a sight that will be.

  4. Good thing straws haven’t been banned in Iraq or the press would have. I thing to grasp at....Except the truth. And the truth has been banned worldwide when it comes to mainstream press coverage of PDJT. Actually, it was banned when they covered Bathhouse Barry too.

    Department of Justices

A typo at another site was on the nose. The judges have created the de facto Department of Justices

Most federal workers are a bargain at twice the price, especially when they stay home.
