Planned Parenthood denied women maternity leave

Conservatives should just stop trying to top liberals when it comes to sexism because the communists are just too good at discrimination.

The New York Times reported that based on legal documents and women it interviewed, Planned Parenthood will not hire or promote pregnant women, and won't give women maternity leave.

Carolina Delgado, a former employee of Planned Parenthood in Miami, Florida, "It was looked down upon for you to get pregnant. I don’t think that any supervisor had to literally say it for us to feel it."

Of the 55 regional Planned Parenthood offices across the U.S., 49 do not offer paid maternity leave to their employees, the New York Times reported.

Ta’Lisa Hairston told the newspaper her high blood pressure was hazardous to her pregnancy. She needed to take breaks often, but not only was she refused the breaks, she often had to work through lunch.

She delivered her baby by emergency C-section in her 34th week.

Given that Planned Parenthood receives federal aid, shouldn't it be required to give maternity and paternity leave?

And couldn't the Department of Labor investigate this discrimination?

The President of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America Leana Wen told the Times, "I believe we must do better than we are now. It’s our obligation to do better, for our staff, for their families and for our patients."

Yes. I'll do better. General Flynn should try that on Judge Sullivan.

    2. Plus free tickets to King’s Dominion, Jim! Oops, they don’t have any kids. They were all murdered. OK, never mind.

  2. Last I heard PP was all about women's health. Not much concern for the health of unborn babies, however.

  3. The US frderal government itself does not have paid maternity leave. The time off may be taken under the provisions of FMLA and the employee may use any combination of paid sick time, paid vacation time or leave without pay to cover the hours of work missed. Hopefully it never becomes more generous than that as we already have plenty of women who get pregnant as soon as hired and covered by their health insurance.

  5. Names of groups, agencies, and laws are usually euphemisms as in the case of PP, the ACA, and the Patriot Act.

What's disappointing are the millions of credulous people buying into the lies. The public schools have done this I guess they might as well serve as a national established church teaching what to think not how to think.

We expect the presstitutes and yellow journalists to promote deep statists its their job as court prophets of this era.

    1. And we all know what the Old Testament has to say about most court prophets!

  6. All this while the R-controlled Supreme Court ruled in favor of Planned Parenthood in a case that came before it. The endless vat of hypocrisy rolls on.

    1. It was the appeals court that made the ruling, the SC just decided not to take the case. Hope that changes in the nearest future. Besides, abortion is becoming harder and harder to come by. Nashville lost their last abortuary this last week or so! Couldn't find any doctors who would do abortions.

  9. It's no surprise that an organization that enriches itself with tax payer dollars in order to murder unborn children would abuse their own female employees with sharia-esque repression.

Call it 'The Abortion Maid's Tale.'
