No collusion, no crime

For 45 years, Bob Woodward has been the spokesman for the Deep State. His sources at the CIA and elsewhere in DC trust him without question. Mark Felt, the Andy McCabe of his day at the FBI, gave Woodward Watergate, and made his career.

His sources can find no collusion between Russia and President Donald John Trump.

The man with the Golden Rolodex and the license to spill comes up emptier than a sailor's billfold after shore leave.

Radio talker Hugh Hewitt had Woodward in on September 18 and asked him point blank: "Did you, Bob Woodward, hear anything in your research in your interviews that sounded like espionage or collusion?"

WOODWARD: "I did not, and of course, I looked for it, looked for it hard. And so you know, there we are. We’re going to see what Mueller has, and Dowd may be right. He has something that Dowd and the president don’t know about, a secret witness or somebody who has changed their testimony. As you know, that often happens, and that can break open or turn a case."

HEWITT: "But you’ve seen no collusion?"

WOODWARD: "I have not."

Dowd is John Dowd, 77, who had served as the president's lawyer in this witch hunt.

The lack of any evidence of collusion negates any indictment, plea bargain, or any rumor put forth by Bungling Bob Mueller because his mission was to find collusion. He found none. End of story.

Keep this in mind. While Woodward's book on President Trump likely had no sources who worked inside the White House -- his sources work elsewhere in the White House complex of buildings -- he has the best sources elsewhere.

Earlier, I informed readers that Mueller's plea bargain with Michael Cohen (Donald Trump's turncoat lawyer) was useless because he got Cohen to admit he lied. That was his crime.

My understanding is that a jury does not have to believe any witness who lies about anything. I cannot imagine a worse witness than an admitted criminal liar.

But Carl Bernstein, Woodward's colleague on the Watergate case -- now a parakeet on CNN -- said Mueller has President Trump cornered!

Um, no. Just no. Donald Trump's first divorce and first appearance in bankruptcy court were far more harrowing. He settled with Ivana and talked 50 banks across the globe out of foreclosing on him.

The press minted too big to fail, and pinned it on The Donald.

But Bernstein said a settlement with Stormy Daniels will end the Trump presidency.

Bernstein said, "It certainly looks like they are the kind of offenses that would call for impeachment hearings into the conduct of the president of the United States. There’s something much more important than just impeachment going on, and that is the fact that Donald Trump for the first time in his life is cornered."

He earned his birdseed for the day by telling viewers what they wanted to hear. Like most stuff about President Trump on CNN, his was a fabrication.

Mueller wants to criminalize out-of-court settlements.

Remember, taxpayers paid $5.8 million to settle a case for Mueller in 2008. He should go to prison first.

Mueller isn't fishing. He's whaling. He failed.

  1. The orange cancer of corruption thinks he can out-brand facts. Claiming no evidence of collusion is supposed to wipe away promises of a Pootie penthouse in a Trump Tower Moscow. You ain't seen nothing yet. Wait'll Adam Schiff stats rifling off subpoenas.

    1. Hahaha. You told me last year it was collusion and he was Putin's Puppet in a profane and homophobic manner.

    2. Nonny's probably snowed in-and He's got nothing to do since his x-box quit.

    3. Do you also post as Jim Bays on Powerline? The promises of the imminent demise of Trump are similar.

      Mollie Verified account @MZHemingway

The only reason we know Hillary Clinton and DNC secretly bought and paid for Russian info operation was because they leaked that fact to friendly WP reporters on the eve of a court forcing disclosure. Republican oversight forced that revelation, fought vociferously by Adam Schiff

  2. If the FISA warrant was obtained without verified evidence, and the Woods Memo requires it, then everything that flowed from that document is fruit of the poisonous tree and the entire Mueller investigation is junk.

  3. One big sham.

  4. Good column, and I agree: in Mueller's whaling expedition he has harpooned himself instead of the Great Orange Whale he intended, and Donald J. Trump will have the last laugh as Mueller's Pee-quad goes under the waves.

However, there's a typo re: Donald Trump's first wife: that was Ivana, who is Ivanka's mother.

    1. I see what ya did there. Pretty good 'un.

  5. Here is the draft of Mueller's report:

Towards thee I roll, thou all-destroying but unconquering whale; to the last I grapple with
thee; from hell’s heart I stab at thee; for hate’s sake I spit my last breath at thee. Sink all coffins and all hearses to one common pool! and since neither can be mine, let me then tow to pieces, while still
chasing thee, though tied to thee, thou damned whale! _Thus_, I give up the spear!”

    1. Very good! My fav is "There she blows, there she blows! A hump like snow hill, Aye, it is Moby Dick!" Or so I remember.

  6. I think Ivanka is the daughter and Ivana is the first wife's name.

    1. Oh no, I went full NYT on that. Ivana crawl up and die. Thank you. I shall fix.

  7. Mueller was tasked to look for anything to damage Trump, not "find collusion" but to look for it and anything else he could find which is why no crime was specified by Rosenschweiner. M's first job then was to damage Trump's politcal power largely by the mechanism of providing cover for his Rino opponents to oppose any moves not approved by their paymasters. Leaks and innuendo were the means..
The Media have been willing adjuvants in this plot. I think they were first attracted into it by humiliation, then by money from ratings, finally by a desire to kill a king to wear his robes, like they did with Nixon. There are I'm sure other reasons, perhaps hatred and fear from Trump's billionaire class.
A second meme for Mueller is impeachment. The Democrats have no champion and probably not much confidence either after their 95% lock on victory failed. Impeachment will fail of course but it is the act itself they need to provide motivation to stimulate their base of morons, like Don's Pathic troll. Mueller is providing the fuel for what they and their Media arm expect to be a most glorious auto de Fe on TV to replace all those YouTube vids of humilitating meltdowns and failed authority. Mueller may at one time have been interested in pursuing Justice but after awhile he saw he was not going to be able to kill Elric's Moby. Wounding him, bleeding him, destroying his energy to harm his fellow deep staters, became the goal, and perhaps it was from the beginning. But M is not incompetent. His eyes are on 20, even beyond, and always have been. He wants glory too.

    1. It's getting a little shop worn. I think people are just tired of it. Maybe they can reignite the flame but lately they just can't do it anymore and it just sounds so lame...

  8. I know you're not a lawyer (though an honest journalist is also difficult to find) but why is it against the law to lie about something that didn't happen or wasn't as depicted? Telling a child that yes there is a Santa would give the FBI vapors?

  9. Ted Kennedy can kill his girlfriend and he's the "Lion of the Senate". Reporters write articles explaining how the deceased would appreciate all the wonderful programs he enacted if she weren't, you know, dead.

But Donald Trump pays off a gal to keep quiet and that's an impeachable offense?

Ironically, a Republican paying hush money to a girlfriend isn't a campaign violation--but the malicious prosecution as such is actually an illegal campaign donation to Democrats. The only ones making any illegal campaign contribution are the prosecutors themselves.

  10. I will have a hrs time deciding weather to watch CNN or MSNBC “stars” crying when the Mueller investigation officially collapses.

    1. Schlongy, in the minds of the LibCommies Muh-ler will live forever, like Elvis or Jim Morrison. They’ll keep flocking to Fake Movies like Vice, congratulating themselves on their superiority. But Judgment will come.

  11. Dear Diary and the New York Times,

I just remembered something for a change; President Trump obstructed justice!

I was talking to my beach friends and it all came back to me. It was at a party. I remember hiding in the drapes. Lewandowski held down one arm and Jim Acosta held down the other one while Trump obstructed me over and over again. It made my skin crawl. More than usual, I mean.

I'll never forget the laughter. It's seared into my hipo...hypo...hippa...memory.

    Hold me.

    --Professor Director Jim Comey-Ford

    1. That sounds true to me all right, and there's even someone who can verify it: Jim Comey, who often hides in the drapes himself! He's quite invisible there, he blends right in to the woodwork.

Since he says he always tells the truth, except for when he can't remember or doesn't know or can't recall, I'm sure he'll be glad to confirm this story!
