It was not pleasant. Unable to articulate a reasoned argument using facts, Obama attacked the president in a manner that if it were the other way around would be deemed racist.
Maybe it is.
Obama said, “The reason we don't [invest in climate change policies] is because we are still confused, blind, shrouded with hate, anger, racism — mommy issues.”
Mommy issues?
By all accounts, President Trump adored his immigrant mother and in fact married immigrants on two occasions. He was thrilled to meet Queen Elizabeth II because his mother spoke so highly of her.
But I don't have to defend Our President.
We all know why Obama is upset.
President Trump is systematically erasing his legacy, transforming it into a healthy, 21st century approach to the problems our nation faces.
Just as Donald John Trump transformed the Commodore Hotel from a cockroach-ridden fleabag place into the Grand Hyatt New York, so President Trump renovates American foreign and domestic policy.
Obama seethes. Last night at the Obama Foundation Summit in Chicago, Obama cried out in pain.
Trump's predecessor said, “I mean, we — we are we are fraught with stuff, and — and so if that’s the case then the single most important thing that we have to invest in is not all — and look I’m a huge supporter of science and technological research and social science and, you know, evidence-based learning and all that good stuff. I’m — I’m — people call me Spock for a reason.
He thinks he is a television character from 50 years ago?
As a person who opposed Obama's policies, and disliked his cashing in on the office, I never hated the man. Even now I do not. I feel pity.
Obama is an American tragedy. He made history by being elected the first black president, and then he did nothing with it. His Obamacare could have addressed the concerns of a few million people without upending the health insurance of hundreds of millions of people.
Instead of using his presidency to end racism, Obama led a resurgence of racial grievance that divided the nation.
He failed to give President Trump the peaceful transition of power that Trump earned.
Instead of speaking out against the increasingly militant resistance, Obama stands back stage grinning.
He seems to believe voters rejected him when Hilkary lost. His backing of Stacey Abrams and Andrew Gillum in their gubernatorial races this year pitted him against Trump, and President Trump prevailed.
So now Obama claims President Trump has mommy issues.
Projection?

Definitely projection, as is the case with a lot of Lefties.
ReplyDeleteIf anybody has a problem with hate, anger, racism — mommy issues, not to mention daddy issues and sexual identity, it's our Zippy.
we — we are we are fraught with stuff
This is the Great Orator? The brilliant mind? Good Lord, he can't even put a coherent thought together.
As a person who opposed Obama's policies, and disliked his cashing in on the office, I never hated the man. Even now I do not. I feel pity.
Then you are a better man than he is, Gunga Don.
Obama continues his life long ugliness.

Having provided therapy and counseling regimens for professionals and executives struggling with a multitude of mental, emotional and personality disorders, I can truly say that the former president is undergoing a rapid, escalating, and degenerative mental implosion of severe proportions. We are witnessing a man who has had all of his past support structures yanked from beneath him, and gone too are the constant drumbeats of his 'yes men' giving him the steady, positive feedback, praise and reassurances that he had craved and received for many years. With the rapid, humiliating unfolding and exposure of his failures and legacy we see a man literally lapsing into madness and hysteria due to his inability to keep the facade and false front of his sham legacy afloat. Drugs? Definitely. Alcohol, perhaps, but my guess is cocaine and most definitely cannabis.
DeleteObama is so eloquent, "I'm a huge supporter of ... good stuff." Greatest orator of all time, GOAT. How is it possible a man of such limited vocabulary and eloquence could ever have written several books?
ReplyDeleteIapetus
Well, Billy Ayres of Weatherman infamy is reputed to have ghostwritten one of them.
DeleteIs that why he's so into global warming? Didn't anyone tell him that Ayres wasn't that kind of weatherman?
DeleteThat whole sentence made no sense at all. Like most of his impromptu sentences. I read it multiple times and have no idea what he meant.

DeleteRather than pitiful, I prefer pathetic. - Elric
ReplyDeleteWatching the ultra-smug transition to fear in his face is delicious. I'm not as nice as our host.
ReplyDeleteYeah, Barry's a condescending douche but here's my thing about climate change and it doesn't involve mommy issues.
ReplyDeleteI refuse to be preached to by 99.999% of the individuals who are no more qualified than myself to assess the certainty of anthropogenic climate change. Maybe it exists, maybe not but the sheer number of grifters, charlatans and the usual suspects financial entities involved in it is enough to make me extremely wary. Moreover, taking a lesson from the teachings of Mr.Rogers and the mores of the millennial generation I will never accept any climate change policy that impacts my life in the slightest, PERIOD. I'm special and it's MeFirst, baby.
Anyways about that climate change hypothesis, we're looking good here in the US of A, go peddle that crap to the countries mucking up the air the most. I'm looking at you, China, India and the rest of the Third World.
"Obama gets ugly" "Gets"? When was he ever not??
ReplyDeleteObama is a post turtle.
ReplyDeleteWhile suturing a cut on the hand of a 75 year old rancher, whose hand was caught in the gate while working cattle, the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man. Eventually the topic got around to Obama being elected by a mass of media led, brainless liberals to be our president.
The old rancher said, "Well, ya know, Obama is a 'Post Turtle'".
Not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked him what a 'post turtle' was. The old rancher said, "When you're driving down a country road on you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that's a 'post turtle".
The old rancher saw the puzzled look on the doctor's face so he continued to explain. "You know he didn't get up there by himself, he doesn't belong up there, and he doesn't know what to do while he's up there, and you just wonder what kind of dumb ass put him up there to begin with".
Best thing I have read all week!
Delete"Post Turtle": That's it! That's it!
DeleteYeah, but he is addressing our nasty dumb voters, and the majority just demonstrated they don't like our President. I guess it ain't the economy, stupid.
ReplyDeleteOur probelm is that we've had a mom jeans issue
ReplyDeleteThey call him Spock because he has big, misshapen ears.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was because Big Mike would only let him have sex once every seven years!
DeleteWho knew that my not believing in global warming made me a racist. Thanks mr. Sotero.
ReplyDeleteHe is as good as 90% forgotten, and when we get around to electing the next African American president that will be the end of him altogether. Because right now, as you pointed out, Don - that's all he has left. All he ever was really.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'd just as soon not elect another African-American for POTUS. I've learned, with this one, that you can't disagree in the least bit or else you're called a racist. I'm sick of being called a racist, so I'll pass on another A-A.
DeleteAfter the mess the Mocha Messiah made of things, it ought to be at least a century before the country is tempted to try it again. But it probably won't be, because people forget and are stupid.
DeleteObama's one African-American that's more African than American. Wherever he was born, he was brought up in Indonesia as a muslim, then visited Pakistan, before finally ending up as a red-diaper kid in Hawaii.
DeleteHe's not an African-American like the people born & raised here. Remember when Jesse Jackson said that Obama "talks down to black people," and that he "wanted to cut his nuts off?" He said that because he knew that Obama wasn't at all like any American black person in anything but color, and he resented this fool looking down his nose at real American blacks. Of course he had to apologize; can't let the truth stand.

I come not to criticize the Black Jesus but to bury the motherf——-. And no, LibCommies, he ain’t rising again.
ReplyDeleteSorry, Don, but Obama is well deserving of your hate for what he has done to this country to impoverish it, destroy race relations, weaken it militarily, unconstitutionally enter into international treaties, and destroy every government agency by caponizing it, hiring like-minded lifted, and making them lawless
ReplyDeleteI was especially impress by the way Obama stopped the seas from rising by his genius Solyndra investment.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I started with high hopes with Bush, by the end of his terms I was pretty tired of him letting himself be walked on and giving the liberals practically everything they wanted.
ReplyDeleteThat said, I admired how, for the most part, he kept his mouth shut after he left. Obama's actions just prove what we conservatives always knew about him...a classic narcissist.
Obama:
ReplyDeleteI blame the voters.
TWICE!
Wait, the man who wrote a book called "Dreams from My Father" is accusing someone else of parental issues? Well if that isn't the pot calling the kettle African-American.
ReplyDeleteWell, at least Obama voices legitimate criticism on the issues. He does not get "ugly" and make gratuitous personal insults against other people as Trump does sometimes.
ReplyDeleteEven when Obama is attacked in a personal way, he does not get "ugly" and respond in kind. For example, when, some years ago, Trump claimed that Obama was not born in the U.S., Obama did not get "ugly" and make a personal attack against Trump. Instead, Obama stayed even-tempered and responded with facts by showing his birth certificate which showed that he was born in the U.S. Can you imagine how Trump would lash out if some prominent public person were to say that Trump was not born in the U.S.?
He would show his birth certificate, too.
ReplyDelete"Fraught with stuff" is a very scientific term. Social science isn't science anymore. It's feel good politics.
ReplyDeleteSo very Presidential
ReplyDeleteWe have gone from a standard that a former president never commenting on the current office holder, to this.
ReplyDeleteSuspect this will now be the new norm for liberals. Again, no sense of proper decorum
Obama is the temper tantrum produced by years of being told you're special over and over and over again, when you're not.
ReplyDeleteI believe Trump's temper tantrums are worse than Obama's. They are so much worse that he (Trump) stays up most of the night venting in twitter.
DeleteWhat I like about obozo is that he has opened to public scrutiny his college transcripts and his medical records, along with that most authentic-looking "birth certificate" posted on the WH website. Most transparent ever
ReplyDeleteGreat post as usual, Don. But I would suggest that the title should have been "Obama gets uglier."
