James O'Keefe, the underappreciated hero of the midterms

If James O'Keefe were a liberal, he would get his due as a muckraker who exposes political hypocrisy and skulduggery.

His surreptitious recordings of government officials admitting to criminality would dominate the cable outlets.

But he is a conservative and only Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson showcase his efforts. Given their ratings, that's enough.

In the midterms, O'Keefe targeted Democrats Joe Donnelly, Andrew Gillum, Claire McCaskill, Beto O'Rourke, and Kyrsten Sinema. The first four lost, while Sinema won an open seat for the Senate.

He helped bring down two incumbent opposition senators in a midterm election.

That is nearly impossible given the 96% rate of re-election for opposition incumbent senators in a midterm. A 96% re-election rate means one Democrat incumbent would have lost for an ordinary president.

President Trump got four scoops.

O'Keefe helped.

There was Donnelly:
Project Veritas Action Fund has released undercover video from current US Senator Joe Donnelly's campaign. The video reveals that he masks his support of unions because of how polarizing they are in Indiana.
He lost by 5.9 points.

There was Gillum:
Project Veritas Action Fund has released undercover video from Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum’s campaign, revealing his election strategy includes making empty promises to voters.
He lost by 0.4 points.

There was McCaskill:
VIDEO: Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill “Essentially” Lies to Get Elected; Campaign Conceals Planned Parenthood Contributions, “donations through separate means”
She lost by 6.1 points.

There was O'Rourke:
“Nobody needs to know” Beto Campaign Appears to Illegally Spend Funds on Supplies for Caravan Aliens, Campaign Manager Says “Don’t Worry”
He lost by 3.6 points.

The federal government should investigate his use of campaign money.

The Left heralded "citizen journalism" when video recording became cheap in the 1970s.

Now it is literally shaking when O'Keefe exposes the Deep State and its puppet politicos.

  1. His next target should be the AP.

  2. His next target should be Hollywood, but we already know about them.

In the most recent episode of Supergirl, the evil anti-alien (anti-illegal-immigrant) group is called "People Veritas". It's like they're not even trying to be subtle about it anymore.

  3. Sinema just may have won honestly. A lot of people saw McSally as a NeverTrumper and a product of the McCain machine.

And they certainly didn't want another St John of Hanoi.

  4. "The federal government should investigate his use of campaign money"

You forgot the sarcasm tag on that line.

  5. James O'Keefe: love you, great run! C'mon, get the Broward County Florida back "boiler room counting" video out as soon as safe for your Veritas infiltrator ... or was that a family deal w/Debbie W Schultz, and no way to infiltrate? Hammering a nail next to the D, through stacks of 20 under-voted ballots at a time ...

  6. O’Keefe and his team are doing amazing work. Too bad they are ignored by so many alleged conservative sites.

  7. Is this a double negative or what

  8. Remember the way Marty McFly would yell, "Yeah, but what's that?!", pointing off tangentially while keeping his eyes locked on the SOB's chin right before the sucker punch?

That's how conservatives should employ mention of Project Veritas.

  9. O’Keefe also got footage of Kyrsten Sinema, and she lost, too (until the Democrat vote-counter "found" tens of thousands of D votes in the reddest state in the southwest).
