Petting zoo conservatives

Cupp is a superficial young woman, in love with being part of the NYC scene, content with being a petting zoo conservative or libertarian or whatever she calls herself.

“Petting zoo conservative” ....lol.... kicking himself for not coining that phrase

Darned right I wish it were my phrase.

But writers are jaybirds who steal to eat.

The reference was to Cupp's column in the New York Daily News in which she whined that Creepy Porn Lawyer Michael Avenatti had doomed Democrats to defeat.

Cupp opened with a paragraph that included Will Rogers's line: "I am not a member of any organized political party, I am a Democrat," which was brilliant 94 years ago when he wrote it in The Illiterate Digest, but it is as worn out from overuse as Stormy Daniels.

Her second and third paragraphs read, "In 2016 Democrats were handed a gift named Donald Trump, a bumbling, blurting, barstool political ignoramus who nonetheless managed to insult his way into the presidency, despite all their best — and I mean worst — efforts."

"Now, as a midterm election that should favor the party out of power approaches, Republicans, energized by the Brett Kavanaugh fight, are poised to potentially pick up Senate seats. And I wouldn’t be entirely shocked if Republicans surprise everyone and actually manage to keep the House. As far as 2020 goes, no one Democrats are currently shopping is a convincing match for Trump."

She blamed Avenatti instead of Dianne Feinstein because the last thing a petting zoo conservative wants to do is to displease Democrats.

Cupp's career exists only to harass conservatives because the one thing you can count on in the petting zoo is for the llama to spit at you.

One nice thing about our election of President Trump is that he has shined the refrigerator light on them and showed them for the frauds they are.

They live in Upper Manhattan and Kalorama in D.C. They rake in the big bucks from television and conservative foundations by doing this.

A few grace cruises where people from the boonies are glad to meet these celebrities, the very celebrities who scoff at real conservatives, whom they view as marks.

They told us to accept Barack Obama, but they will never accept nor forgive our election of President Trump.

They are the Democrat Jackass that got his nose inside the Republican Big Tent.

How many times have they lectured us on how we cannot win on social issues?

They helped mainstream abortion, drugs, and gay marriage. They mock evangelical Christians.

Their big plan to win over the Hispanic vote was to cave to Democrats on illegal aliens.

Petting zoo conservatives were appalled by President Trump's call for a wall, not because it offended Hispanics but because it attracted more minority votes.

NBC reported the day after the 2016 election, "Donald Trump performed stronger among black and Hispanic voters than Mitt Romney did as the Republican nominee in 2012, according to NBC Exit Polls.

"Tuesday’s exit poll results have not yet been finalized but so far they show Trump outmatching Romney by two points in each voting bloc.

"Trump claimed 29 percent of the Hispanic vote on Tuesday compared to Romney’s 27 percent in 2012. With blacks, exit polls show Trump claimed 8 percent of the vote to the previous Republican nominee’s 6 percent."

President Trump proved the only way for conservatives to win is by being conservative.

And yet some in the petting zoo demanded that President Trump abandon Judge Brett Kavanaugh saying gee, Judge Amy Barrett is a better choice.

Polls now show Republicans have a better chance in the midterm because of Brett Kavanaugh.

Which is why Cupp is so angry.

She ended her column, "Guys, I’m truly here to help. If Democrats don’t take the House and the Senate as they’re supposed to, and defeat Trump in 2020, they’ll have no one to blame but themselves. This shouldn’t be that hard."

Said no conservative ever.

  1. I’ve met S.E. Cupp & I can tell you she’s insufferably self-absorbed & a total drama queen.

I wouldn’t wish her on anybody.

    1. But on the hot/crazy matrix? Is she still fertile? I could look her up and, like James Bond, convert her to the side of right and virtue. By appealing to her maternal instincts, d'ye see?

  2. When Sarah Elizabeth Cupp first graduated from Cornell her chosen field was already crowded with PYT liberal women. Did she misrepresent her "conservative" beliefs to find employment?

I have never seen anything from her that was particularly insightful or original. There are lots of bloggers with more talent who are working for free.

  4. She's a militant atheist, too.

I respect agnostics. There is humility in confessing that you don't know the answers. I do not respect atheists. I consider them the stupidest, most ignorant people on the planet because they are oblivious to what is obvious all around them. And they are smug and self-righteous and condescending about their ignorance.

That is who S.E. Cupp is.

    1. It actually takes more faith to believe that no god exists than to believe there is some higher power in charge. Atheism is a militant and intolerant religion and was the offical religion of communism.

  6. Cupp has nothing to offer either side in this struggle. She doesn't write very well, obviously has no political insight, and is an eager deserter, not much of a recommendation to anyone looking for perseverance in hard times, which are sure to come on both sides. The Never Trump crowd seem to associate themselves in a romantic way with members of Hitler's general staff who plotted to assassinate him several times and indeed almost succeeded at least twice. They later perished at his hands but no one played taps then and they are only remembered now on the History channel. Trump is not so mean-spirited. He is more like Caesar who considered anyone not against him an ally and easily forgave his opponents, perhaps too much. But Trump's opponents are not generous. Does Cupp think she will be welcomed and feted by them if he loses, crowned with laurel and give a nice overpaid job writing propaganda for them? Perhaps, but it will be in a far northern gulag where her hair will freeze to her pillow every night, her name redacted for a number.

  7. The major asset I noticed years ago of SE Cupps is her rack. That IS an asset to climb the political pundit ladder, but it doesn't make you know anything.

  8. "but it is as worn out from overuse as Stormy Daniels"

And yet a supposedly stable genius paid her $130,000 to keep quiet.

    1. Funny you should mention that. Her defamation suit was just thrown out by the judge and she is liable for Trump's legal fees.

      Not tired of winning.
