How we know the caravan has backfired

A new conspiracy theory from Bette Midler made me laugh.

I think had surrogates encourage (or pay) that caravan to come north so that he has something else to rail against besides Hillary and Obama! He knows his base really REALLY well!!

Is she the celebrity 9/11 truther who said it was the first time fire melted steel? Or was that some other young and svelte comedienne?

The reaction was interesting.

Yes. Imagine that. Trump voters. People dumb enough to actually believe that the US should have, you know, borders. People dumb enough that we do not want 10,000 unvetted illegal aliens simply barging into the country. How weird. 🙄

Yeah this isnt gaslighting at all from a President with low approval ratings currently lying to the public about a middle class tax cut (while congress is out of session) while trying to strike fear into his racist base as he covers up the murder of a journalist with the Saudi’s

You’re saying what we’re all thinking. Let’s hope he’s not that despicable.

Of course he is....sadly.

Ohhhhhh I thought the same

I had the same thought

Not such a crazy thought.. The timing is impeccable! 🤔
Replying to @BetteMidler
😉 -- Glad you said it. I do, too. The timing is just way too convenient for Trump. Also, he is blaming the Dems & claims Soros is paying them.... so, the opposite is most likely true, right?! He's also talking about declaring a natl "emergy" & calling out the military.

Alternative fact known by ICE and Border Patrol: Most in the Caravan are employees of Mar-A-Lago Resort.

You know what would thwart ? Mexico should take the caravan in so it never gets to the US. That would his agenda. No refugees, no talking points.

I thought that Twitter banned NPC accounts that mock liberals as fools who repeat talking points.

Oh wait, these are real liberals.

This begs the question: will liberals who see the caravan as a set-up protest letting them into the country?

  1. It seems the various parts that make up the Left's coalition do not coordinate well with each other. You have some NGO's getting this caravan spun up and sent in, which is what the Democrats did not want (the last big one at the end of 2017 did not play out so well for the Dems), and the MSM finds itself torn between catering to the NGO's and the Dems. So here they are, upstaging each other and stepping all over their lines.
    Lovely.

    1. The problem with governance by grievance is that every self-perceived victims group thinks that they are leading the parade.

  2. Twitter drool shared between morons is of little weight in the real world. Last night Trump said, live, he was going to deploy the military and that "they could do a lot". Sitting next to him was Mattis, who didn't speak to the issue. But what does a military do if challenged? Withdraw? I hardly think so. It seems to me that the goal of the caravan's creators is to provoke shooting violence with civilian casualties live on CNN, further stock market volatility, more lib outrage, white guilt, etc. The producers of this caravan don't care about the people in it, only its political effect on Trump. They will willingly put these people in harm's way hoping some, like the Palestinians whose families are often paid in the event to do so, will martyr themselves for the cause. Anything to distract attention from their enemy's endless success. Perhaps if this happens we will put the blame where it belongs, remain undeterred, show ourselves to me more like Israel instead of France or the UK and to deserve our freedom of self-determination. I hope so. But Trump has an unenviable task. He could make a speech from the oval to explain the situation and his actions. He would get real support when it counts. He is going to need it soon.

    1. I'd say a night Jump by the 82nd or the 101st at the rear of the Caravan
      would be a start..

    2. 101 hasn't jumped in better than 50 years.

    5. 101st went "Air Assault" in the waning years of the Vietnam War. Westmoreland demanded they keep the "airborne" honorific, and since he was chief of staff...

When my son (82nd alumnus) heard the 101st was being sent to Africa for the Ebola situation, he said the standard joke was that the 101st was sent because neither it nor Ebola was airborne.

  3. The liberals are getting tied up in knots over a man-made crisis of their own making! Fantastic!!

How about the nut claiming the caravan is made up of mostly employees of Mir-a-Lago. Talk about deranged.

  4. So according to the Devine Miss B Trump is an evil genius who can outsmart the smartest people in politics, but otherwise he is a dolt and a simpleton. Isn't that the same meme they used against W?

  5. Mr. T doesn’t see problems, he sees opportunities. In this case, there is a very simple opportunity, one that he’s verbalized: No border, no country. As James Woods pointed out, it’s physically impossible to make that trek by foot between now and Election Day, yet does anyone doubt those Rolling Clones will be there before 11/6? Who gave them the rides - Uber? This is a gold mine story for an uncorrupted journalist, just like the Ballsy Ford Affair. Also, we need TWC on the case. Those Jaliente Hessians will shit their pants when Jim Cantore sets up camp to cover Willa. Plenty of enjoyable Fake Media Follies coming our way!

    1. Millions were poured into this, probably by the usual suspects with the money laundry somewhere down there for convenience. But they want multiple martyrs, or even one, that is the goal. (They also want no change in the law that favors "refugees" from south of Mexico so the flow will not stop but Congress could easily do this if the R were not as rotten as the Dems.) The martyr helps keep loyalty even fealty to the group he represents by memorializing him as a hero resisting his oppressors, someone looking down upon you from on high as you are tempted to betray his tribe. Trayvon, the gentle giant, Kaepernick, Suicide bombers, even Obama himself are very useful in keeping loyalty within a group when there might be a temptation to leave it, say because you got a job or Kanye said so, etc. The same here only the prey is the Hispanic voter,to which Trump has put a magnet. It is a primitive form of psyops. One dead child is sufficient. Z made a good joke about napalm, but the picture of the running naked young Vietnamese girl burned by it was heavy and effective propaganda then and is iconic even today. In the best of all worlds these paymasters would be found out and pay an appropriate price but it will not happen. No one of them has become a martyr himself. Yet.

There's also the big Pacific Hurricane that's come ashore headed for the throngs. Maybe God is sending a message

Once again a leftist organized and funded stunt is backfiring big time. The wall is now guaranteed.

  14. The caravan looks amazingly clean and well-fed. Nice clothes. Who's feeding them? Where is their refuse and trash going as they travel? The backpacks they carry are nicer than most of my school students. This so-called "humanitarian" caravan is a farce. Turn them away.
