God bless the Herald Sun

Freedom of the press rose from the dead in Melbourne, Australia, today when the Herald Sun reprinted Mark Knight's cartoon of Serena Williams throwing a hissy fit on its Front Page.

The newspaper ran it alongside caricatures of President Trump, Australian prime minister Scott Morrison., Kim Jong Un, and other public figures. Readers can see it here. Or in a tweet.

Bravo.

It is about time someone stood up for freedom of the press -- real freedom, and not the pap that protects the Marxist newspapers who slander President Trump with racist references to his skin color.

The Herald Sun said, "If the self-appointed censors of Mark Knight get their way on his Serena Williams cartoon, our new politically correct life will be very dull indeed."

They are little sniveling censors who have turned up their sensitivity detectors to 11.

They want group think to replace debate.

How many times did that idiot say, "The debate is over"?

To quote Bluto from "Animal House":

"Over? Did you say over? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no! And it ain't over now! Cause when the going gets tough, the tough get goin'. Who's with me?"

German? What can I say? He was on a roll.

The people in power of the press are cowards because Marxists have all the courage of a butterfly.

They are bully boys who blamed the slaughter by Muslims of the staff of Charlie Hebdo magazine on the staff for running cartoons of Mohammad.

These same newspaper cowards demanded -- yes, demanded -- that taxpayers finance that Christianophobic "Piss Christ."

They also are fools. The Washington Post blasted the cartoon for depicting an era of Jim Crow laws.

Huh?

I mean I concede that Australia is south of Washington but it was never in The South.

Mark Knight and his newspaper have the God-given right to publish the cartoon.

Freedom of the press covers racist cartoons. Sexist cartoons. Hate speech. Calling communists communists. And any other offensive thing anyone can imagine.

Free speech covers them as well.

The thought police can go to hell and take the Washington Post with them.

That is a figure of speech.

I defend their right to piss me off.

  1. Isn't Australia related to England. The cops there are looking for verbal hate crimes so they can put anti-muslim people in jail. How come the Auzzies can get away with this?

Because the preferred Aussie term for the English is “whinging Pommie bastards”.

    1. Notice the baby’s pacifier lying next to the tennis racquet under Serena.

The Aussies have an expression for when an adult throws a tantrum. It’s called a “dummy spit”. The “dummy” (as in a dummy teat) is what a pacifier is called in Australia, and the image is of an overgrown baby so mad that it has spit the dummy out.

  3. Only dogs hear dog whistles. If it's a racist dog whistle the only dogs that hear it are racist dogs.

  4. Today the Bezos rag accused Trump of causing the latest hurricane because he doesn't care enough about cow farts. They are writing for the demented.

    2. The Washington Compost is worried that if people don't care about cow farts, they won't read the pathetic rag they publish since it's 99 and 44/100ths pure bullsh!t.

  5. " with racist references to his skin color"

Sounds like the perpetual victims on the right need a safe space. Orange spay tan isn't a race. It's a physical manifestation of a lack of character. The tiny, fragile manchild doesn't like his normal pale, sickly complexion.

    1. Phone for you, Anon. Seems a bunch of chicks want a word with you about your racist comments on their use of hair straighteners.

  6. The Herald's stand is doubly impressive. Several years ago one of their top-line journalists was taken to court for comments about the aboriginal industry. He lost, and management declined to appeal.
Good to see that they have rediscovered their spine.
