AP missed the story that makes the Russian investigation illegitimate

At least not at the Associated Press which allows Democratic Party activists to use its good name to disseminate disinformation. Some editor today approved a story that began, "A senior Justice Department lawyer says a former British spy told him at a breakfast meeting two years ago that Russian intelligence believed it had Donald Trump 'over a barrel,' according to multiple people familiar with the encounter."

Someone at AP needed to ask, who cares?

The story as reported boils down to Christopher Steele, the spy in question, and Bruce Ohr, the lawyer in question, had breakfast on July 30, 2016.

The real news was the breakfast itself, which was relegated to Paragraph 14: "One of the meetings he recounted was a Washington breakfast attended by Steele, a Steele associate and Ohr. Ohr’s wife, Nellie, who worked for Fusion GPS, the political research firm that hired Steele, attended at least part of it."

Ohr was not only married to a woman who worked for the company Hillary and the DNC hired to get dirt on Donald John Trump, but Ohr was meeting with the man in charge of delivering the dossier.

The only collusion with Russians was Steele and his sources at the Kremlin getting together to put together a dossier aimed at bringing down a duly elected American president.

Add to that the FISA warrants that were based on Steele's fictions about prostitutes pissing on a bed the Obamas slept in, and you have a real scandal about collusion between Obama and Hillary to spy on Trump.

And by collusion, I mean conspiracy.

And by conspiracy, I mean someone should go to prison.

But that won't happen. The American press will not allow the Obamas or the Clintons to pay for their crimes. The press may not be powerful enough to elect a president, but it still can keep one out of prison.

  1. When I first read that story, my jaw dropped. It was obvious the authors had no idea what they were writing. Their spin was the opposite of what any thinking person would have immediately concluded from the circumstances, which was that this was a meeting of conspirators who were involved in a plot against Trump.

    1. That is because they just put words to paper. They don’t think critically, just put words together and hope they are the new Woodward and Bernstein to bring down the president.

    2. No one expects anyone can or will think critically anymore

    1. The FISA judge in the original filing had to be in on it the word on the evidence used to justify the warrant has been out for a year....where is the outrage from the judge...

    2. These incompetent, corrupt SOBs don't even bother to get out of bed anymore. No hearings and they are suppose to protect our constitutional rights? Not a peep out of one of them and Chief Justice Roberts, a real POS has proven once again he cares more about his social standing on the West Side than he does about the law.

  3. Roberts is with Sessions, wherever that is.

    1. Roberts is turning out to be quite the Chief Justice, isn't he? Will no one rid us of this troublesome judge?

  4. The "journalists" are just hired hands who writes whatever the people who pay them want. Whatever you read in the Washington Post comes from Jeff Bezos, the CNN talking heads read the script Jeff Zimmer hands them, etc.. We are focusing on the hired mercenaries, instead of the guys behind the curtain.

    1. They are all so stupid that they use the same words and phrasing when attacking Trump. You would think different people would utilize different vocabulary. But they are too dumb for that and just read what is on the prompter.

"Screaming children ripped from crying mothers arms" was used by every anchor as if it were their own words. Are people that stupid that they think these are reporters and NOT readers of prepared B. S.

Don't you put money on that.

The Ozark Mafia is already a joke (consider Willie's drooling at Aretha Franklin's funeral) and, while the Beast may never see the inside of the hoosegow due to her rapidly declining health, she is now a nonentity, just like her "husband". The million dollar speeches are gone forever.

As for the American press, by your own words, they are passing into irrelevance every day.

We've already seen a lot of things we'd never thought we'd see happen. I think that's a long way from over.

    1. When you can look at a dilapidated post office, (yeah, a Post Office) and see a Hotel, you have "Some Vision". Then, after you see the Hotel, you get all the things done that are necessary to turn that USPS Office into a Hotel and then rent it out to paying customers willing to spend lots and lots of money to do so....

      https://www.trumphotels.com/washington-dc

Yahoo News would NEVER run a story about that post office.

  7. These AP reporters didn't "get it wrong". They are in on it. They are players. They are on the team and the payroll, too. That's why they don't name the "Steele associate": it's Glen Simpson, Nellie's boss. The guy who was allowed to paw through all the NSA's top secret files. The guy who met with Veselnitskya repeatedly, including immediately before and after she and her team were sent to Trump Tower. The guy who Hillary hired to produce the fiction and then market it.

It's an odd kind of journalism that seeks to subtract from the sum of human knowledge. These guys are pros; they'll actually leave you knowing less than when you began reading them.

They didn't "miss the story". They are paid to make everyone else miss it.

  8. The "free" press in America is DONE. They were killed by their own hubris and arrogance. They sought to become part of changing America by supporting 100% the leftist agenda and the Dem. Party.

NO thinking American takes them as anything but lairs and clowns. Alertnate sources now provide much of the actual news. Newspapers are on life support in a hospice and TV news has degenerated into entertainment for political junkies.

Not a bit interested in MSM or crappy Hollywood junk movies or shows. Weinstein is the face of Hollywood but the so called abused woman were in fact "playing the game." Who cares the whole industry is just another hellhole of egos and sexual sickos, men and woman and all in between. Screw them ALL.

    1. Yep. I get more from the comments than from the artcles on websites. I get more usable info from websites than from lame stream media. MSM has become merely a propoganda arm of the leftists, which makes it a propoganda arm of the international fascist oligarchy that would rule over us, if we let them.

    2. Problem: fewer and fewer Websites allow comments or if they do they have an algorithm or young Zuckerbergs to monitor and censor them.

  9. "The press may not be powerful enough to elect a president, but it still can keep one out of prison." That's not what's happening. Trump isn't going to start hunting scalps until his second term, because he doesn't want it to look like he's persecuting political opponents. But after Jan 20th, 2025, he'll 'have more flexibility...'

  10. It's not too late to get a Special Prosecutor, or even regular Utah prosecutor Huber, to re-open the Clinton email scandal and indict her.
They try her, then probably find her guilty.

And start indicting and trying the FBI & DOJ agents who were obstructing justice & destroying evidence.

  11. Wow, I read the AP report and they SPIN this story so much it is scary. They make Ohr sound like an angel. " I heard from a friend who heard from a friend, who heard from this girl she likes you" Third hand and fourth hand information is not admissible in court.
