How Trump beats Erdoğan and other dictators

America has the world's worst trade deficit. We lost nearly $800 billion on international trade. If we stopped trading, the rest of the world would go into a tailspin, while our economy would continue growing.

President Trump is using this apparent weakness to bash dictators on their heads.

Our president has imposed trade sanctions -- including tariffs -- on the worst people in the world: Kim Jong Un, Chairman Xi, Hassan Rouhani, Vlad Putin, and now Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

President Trump tweeted today.

I have just authorized a doubling of Tariffs on Steel and Aluminum with respect to Turkey as their currency, the Turkish Lira, slides rapidly downward against our very strong Dollar! Aluminum will now be 20% and Steel 50%. Our relations with Turkey are not good at this time!

From CNBC: "Turkish lira plunges 20% versus dollar after Trump authorizes doubling metals tariffs on Turkey."

The economies of other targets of his trade sanctions are tanking. Red China was already on the ropes. Its stock market dropped 40% in value over the last three years, slipping back to third place; Japan is now No. 2.

You know who else went up against dictators and prevailed? Churchill. But he had to cut a deal with Stalin. Still, Hitler, Tojo, and Mussolini all fell which is a great vindication -- and service to the world.

By comparison, today's dictators are small because the USA is stronger than it was in the 1930s.

But President Trump is kicking their butts. Obama kissed them.

The Trump way works.

Failed economies push dictators to the brink because the people may rise and rebel.

The Counterfeit Conservatives in Washington who live off the donations of their rich masters complain about "free trade," which is ironic considering how Red China uses slave labor.

The Marxists try to turn polite diplomacy in public into as proof that President Trump is a puppet of these goons, and then turn around and oppose his sanctions.

But real Americans see President Trump sticking it to the world's tyrants, and applaud.

President Trump will hold a rally in Charleston, West Virginia on Tuesday, August 21, at 7:00 pm ET. That's B/C internal data no doubts tells him Joe Manchin is more vulnerable than he appears to be.
