Booker is a sign Palestinians are out

"At pre-midterm conference, the Democratic left is in the driver's seat," Dave Weigel of the Washington Post reported.

This we knew.

Buried in the story was the news, as he reported, "There were risks to courting the party's left. After his speech, Booker posed with pro-Palestinian activists and held a sign reading 'from Palestine to Mexico, all the walls have got to go' -- though his office later explained that he did not realize the sign was partly referring to Israel."

Hmm. Six years after Democrats booed God and moving our embassy to Jerusalem, the Palestinians are out.

"A spokesman for Booker told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency that Booker was caught in a rush of people asking for photos when he was handed the sign to hold," the Washington Examiner reported.

The quote from Jeff Giertz, the spokesman, was, "Just before delivering a speech in New Orleans, Senator Booker was approached by dozens of people for photos.

"In one instance, amid the rush, he was posing for a photo and was passed a sign to hold – he didn’t have time to read the sign, and from his cursory glance he thought it was talking about Mexico and didn’t realize it had anything to do with Israel.

"He hopes for a day when there will be no need for security barriers in the State of Israel, but while active terrorist organizations threaten the safety of the people living in Israel, security barriers are unfortunate but necessary to protect human lives."

So not only are Palestinians out but Democrats support Israel walling them off.

This is from a New Jersey Democrat, a state that last voted Republican in a presidential contest 30 years ago. Not only that but the local newspapers are rallying behind his new pro-Israel stand, with one dragging out Rabbi David A. Teutsch to vouch for him.

"Booker's record shows he's knowledgeable and passionate about the challenges faced by our closest ally. That is why it is so disturbing to see unjustified partisan attacks on him emanating from fringe corners of the pro-Israel community, in the wake of his recent committee vote on the Taylor Force Act," the rabbi wrote.

That act protested the Palestine government's payment of pensions to terrorists.

What gives?

First, support for Palestinians has vanished in the Middle East with only Iran -- a Persian nation, not Arab -- backing terrorist attacks on Israel.

Saudi Arabia and Israel are increasingly less secret allies.

Second, President Trump's move of the embassy to Jerusalem signaled the sea change, as did his historic -- and little reported -- direct flight from Riyadh to Ben Gurion Airport in Lod last year. It was a first.

Senator Booker's admission that supporting Palestine is wrong shows Democrats have changed their principles with the shifting wind.

Who knows; before this is over they may say they believe in God.

  1. "Senator Booker's admission that supporting Palestine is wrong.."

Pffft. He admitted no such thing. This is just for show so as not to scare off Jewish voters. Booker has aspirations to run as the Democrats' nominee for president in 2020. Ask Booker straight out if he supports Israel as a homeland for the Jewish people. I'd like to see how he'd answer that in the face of accusations by liberals of his ilk that Israel is an apartheid state. Ask Booker whether he supports Palestinian demands for the "right of return," their scheme to eliminate a Zionist state of Israel from within by changing its demographics.

    1. Exactly. Booker's licking his finger and sticking it above his head to see which way the wind is blowing.

      Booker...it blows from you.

  2. When President Trump moved the embassy to Jerusalem, he sucked all the wind out the Palestinians. Oh sure there've been a few protests, but nobody is exercised about the Palestinians these days. And why? Because Trump is growing in Jewish support. 91% of NEW YORK Orthodox Jews support Trump. This close to NJ, any whiff from Booker will sink him.

Also I believe this was part of the pact made with the leaders in SA and the ME last year - there are is no money in supporting the PLO.

  5. President Trump has ordered a review of the UNRWA and cut back U.S. funding for it. If the world would stop supporting and enabling the "Palestinians" they would have to work for a living and wouldn't have the time or energy for all of their shenanigans. - Elric

  6. Booker will say all the usual things to avoid being called anti Israel. That set is being played by Lil' Evita and the Sandernistas. Their hope is to create a splinter block in Congress to get concessions for their socialist goals but Palestinian issues are of little interest to all but the dregs of the left.
The Palestinian cause actually had some validity before 1967 but it became warped by greed, fanaticism and incompetence. Today it has none.

  7. The Israelis get American politicians--the Palestinians get children. Ain't we got fun? Good luck with your apartheid, "one-state" solution. Stable geniuses think Israel can continue as a "Jewish state" from a minority position.

Wasn't Jared supposed to fix are this or was he busy grifting his family out of their failed New York real estate ventures?

    2. Yes, those Palestinian children. They blow up so fast...

They would be the ones of whom Golda Meir said that when the Palestinians care more about them than about hating Jews, there will be peace. G-d willing, Trump's (and Jared's) moves will help that along.

  8. "Wasn't Jared supposed to fix are this "

Wasn't the Magical Negro supposed to fix it? Bill Clinton is the only one who came close to getting the Palestinians to sign off on a deal with Israel, and when it came time to sign on the dotted line, they backed out. No one else has come as close as Clinton, and that includes the Lightbringer Obama.

Jordan is the homeland the Brits set aside for the Palestinians, and that is where they should plant their flag, in the Jordanian desert sand. Kushner should not bother with diplomacy and Trump should end financial enabling of Palestinian terrorists via UN relief agencies. The US should give Abbas 90 days to sign a formal binding agreement with Israel or our funding stops. End of story.

  9. The Palestinian leadership makes more money by not agreeing to anything than working for its "people". Arafat's wife still live in Paris luxury on the 2 billion he stole. He knew if he accepted Clinton's deal she would not be able to keep the money and he would be assassinated by his colleagues. All the money they now get is spent on "Resistance" instead of education or quality of life issues. They are their own worst enemies.

  11. With as little intelligence as Booker has and his ego driven need for attention, his excuse maybe right. Attention Ho doesn't care about minor details as long as he can get his name and face in the liberal propaganda media.

With God's help, and a "red wave" in the 2018 midterms, we'll be setting the table for them to once again believe in divine intervention.
