The New World Order failed

On September 11, 1990, President Bush announced at a joint session of Congress "a new world order."

The dawn of a new era. The end of history. Utopia.
"We stand today at a unique and extraordinary moment. The crisis in the Persian Gulf, as grave as it is, also offers a rare opportunity to move toward an historic period of cooperation," he said

"Out of these troubled times, our fifth objective -- a new world order -- can emerge: a new era -- freer from the threat of terror, stronger in the pursuit of justice, and more secure in the quest for peace. An era in which the nations of the world, East and West, North and South, can prosper and live in harmony. A hundred generations have searched for this elusive path to peace, while a thousand wars raged across the span of human endeavor.

"Today that new world is struggling to be born, a world quite different from the one we've known. A world where the rule of law supplants the rule of the jungle. A world in which nations recognize the shared responsibility for freedom and justice. A world where the strong respect the rights of the weak.

"This is the vision that I shared with President Gorbachev in Helsinki. He and other leaders from Europe, the Gulf, and around the world understand that how we manage this crisis today could shape the future for generations to come."

Peace.

But first we must have a war.

"Tonight, 28 nations -- countries from 5 continents, Europe and Asia, Africa, and the Arab League -- have forces in the Gulf area standing shoulder to shoulder against Saddam Hussein. These countries had hoped the use of force could be avoided. Regrettably, we now believe that only force will make him leave," Bush told the world on January 19, 1991.

A sort of war. A half-hearted war. A war that ousted Iraq from Kuwait but did not oust Saddam Hussein from Iraq.

In short, a war we lost.  We even let him keep helicopters, which he used to kill Kurds.

Next came the collapse of the Soviet Union. Instead of ending NATO, we expanded it.

Then came the European Union, which Prime Minister Thatcher reluctantly agreed to.

And NAFTA.

We were told this would mean more jobs here, and fewer illegal aliens as Mexicans could find work there.

But it turned out to be a you-can-keep-your-doctor moment. We lost factory jobs, and gained illegal aliens.

And on the 11th anniversary of the New World Order speech came the 9/11 attack that destroyed the Twin Towers and part of the Pentagon.

Wars in Afghanistan and Iraq followed.

An economic collapse in 2008 followed by a long and slow recovery reflected the de-industrialization of Europe and the United States. A decision to bomb the hell out of Libya led to the flooding of Italy with refugees. Later, war in Syria led to the invasion by refugees of Germany, France, Scandinavia, and other Western nations.

The New World Order failed the people. The EU dictated to nations socialist rules for living. In England, "hate speech" is considered a greater crime than the organized grooming and molestation of thousands of British schoolchildren.

Failure has consequences. The backlash was justified. Brexit and the election of President Trump resulted from the One World Government that both Bushes, Clinton and Obama embraced.

Nationalism is the result of the failure of internationalism.

The Deep State believes it can wait out President Trump, and Prime Minister Theresa May thinks she can likewise delay Brexit beyond the point of no return.

Perhaps this strategy will work, but if the socialists in those nations succeed in thwarting the will of the people, what follows will be the will of a strong man.

    2. Yes, welcome, but please come up with a Nom de Plume - the "anonymous" thing is too general, and has been well dirtied on this blog.

Just signing off with nickname will do it.

    3. I agree, Erik. That said, I wish this site allowed disqus users, for comment identifcation. What is the 'Name/URL' one? What URL is requred??

    4. BTW, Erik, I meant to add a nickname-- but note I am NOT the 'anonymous' you replied to. I'll go by "Marv", here.

  3. I always tried to figure out the 9/11 date significance to Al-Qaeda, since their attacks always had some date relevance. Thank you Don for connecting the dots.

    1. The real significance is it commemorates the defeat of the Turks at the Gates of Vienna in 1683, the last great Muslim incursion into Europe.

  4. People are seeing they can fight back and they can win. It's like the effect of talk radio and the Internet on all the Conservatives the Lefties tried to con with their "You're just being paranoid" rap.

People found out they weren't alone and they were right in their opinions of what the Left was doing.

Once, you see it, life is never the same.

    2. You are so right about talk radio. We lived in Connecticut and were on a cross country auto trip the first time we heard Rush and thought we'd dropped into an alternate universe.

We knew nobody that thought as we did and were stunned to find we were not alone.

      Made all the difference.

  5. The film "Behold a Pale Horse", narrated by Charlie Daniels is a few years old now, but more timely than ever. But now, what were once "conspiracy theories" are demonstrated as factual more and more every day.
Thank you Don for continuing to help expose the globalist agenda. We WILL MAGA!

  6. Yeah, we could've had Low Energy Jeb, followed by George T or whatever the hell his name is, and then this country would take on the looks of an aristocracy. OH HELLZ NO. We made the right choice. Good job, Surberites!

  7. The collapse is just starting. In less than a decade there will be another tidal wave of humanity on the move. This time the US will be the target country but the refugees will not be coming from the south. They will be ethnic Europeans fleeing the smoking ruins of their once beautiful ancient countries.

  8. The thing about a strongman is, he needs the backing of the armed forces.

Western European nations, with the partial exception of Britain, have sheltered beneath the American nuclear umbrella for so long that they’re enervated militarily.

The fact that their handful of soldiers guarding the streets can’t stop terror attacks ... like the latest one in Germany these past few hours ... suggests that there is no strongman in the future of European nations.

    That continent is lost.

  9. The Big Fail. Plus, instead of opposing Communist leaders abroad, we elected one of our own.

  10. Only part I disagree with, Don, is your assertion that 9/11 is a "terrorist " event!

It has all the markings of a BUSH CRIME FAMILY false flag OPs, designed as the excuse to get the US involved in Iraq and Afghanistan; wars that cost the US a couple Trillion (capital "T") dollars and the lives of 10,000 Americans to no good end, other than enriching the New World Order headed by the Bush Crime family.

Anybody who wants to figure out how the NWO will finally fall, should be watching the Q anon boards (as I get that you do, even though you won't admit it!) WWG1WGA to MAGA!

  11. Take people as they are, or take the consequences.

If need arose, we'd choose 19th Hole Republocrats over murderous Berkeley or Boston, Chicago or New York extremists any time.

Fortunately we don't have to choose. And by that toke, we'll make damn sure that neither of these putrefacted coteries ever "chooses" us.

  13. Can we stop calling it grooming? It is not grooming it is rape and torture by ugly men against beautiful innocent children. That English men stand by and allow this to happen tells me all I need to know about the state of manhood in England.

  14. Sorry pressed publish too soon...can we also agree that the Bush clan might have been the worst set of Presidents to have ever afflicted the United States.

Sure FDR was a leftist and so was Clinton but the Bush Clan were traitors to those who supported them. I would sooner cut my own throat than to have ever supported another Bush in the White House.

  16. The only solution is to defund Progressive (1984) Ed in K-12, university and grad schools. Why? Prog (1984) Ed is designed to destroy any constitutional republic it is funded therein. Since the states did not sign a suicide pact when agreeing to form a constitutional republic, we refuse to fund any suicide pact, or scheme. Prog (1984) Ed is a suicide scheme for our republic What ed do we then use? The one from 1776 to 1900, which is Western Tragic (1776) Common Sense Philosophy. It includes love of life, liberty and pursuit of property & happiness. This solution ameliorates all, and forbids "end justifies means" idiocracy of "morals are, heh heh, relative." Defund such tripe. It causes global decline, and permits mayhem of globalists. The answer is always to defund Prog (1984) Ed and replace with 1776 Common Sense Philosophy. This is the answer pundits refuse to address. Do you know why?

  17. I have always thought that after the Soviet Union fell, the US, EU, UN -- "the powers that be" failed massively in failing to actually create a "New World Order". After WWII, there were extensive discussions on how the international system would interact: the Marshall Plan to resurrect Europe's economy, the Nuremburg trials to punish/rehabilitate Germany, MacArthur in Japan to set them on a new path, how to balance the USSR's empire building through NATO. After the USSR fell -- nada. Clinton declared a "peace dividend" and immediately began de-funding and dismantling the US military. There was no serious discussion on what all the effect of all the new ex-Soviet republics would be, the swift rise of the Russian mafia, the disintegration of Yugoslavia. This was a time screaming for strategic thinking and we got nothing. Now the international system is a mess with little improvement in sight (and what little there is, is due to Trump's no BS/America First approach). To me it shows that there were no world leaders thinking about the welfare of the world, just politicians looking out for their narrow short-term interests. I don't see anyone looking at or thinking about the the bigger picture.

  18. I wish you were right. There are thousands, if not tens of thousands, of lefty "intellectuals" looking at the big picture and making huge gains into globalism.

Unfortunately, there are few conservatives with clout around although I'll bet there are many looking at the bigger picture, you wouldn't know about from the msm.

  23. The NWO protagonists have got to be starting to realize that they cannot keep fooling the masses and they don't have the army to force their will upon the masses (they tend to recruit pajama boys). Fewer and fewer people are trusting their news/propaganda, so they have to come up with a really good plan if they really want to turn things around. I've seen accident reports detailing pilots who thought they could recover an aircraft from a flat spin and didn't have the sense to pull the ejection handles.
I hope that the NWO advocates have better sense than that.
