A press unworthy of covering this Watergate on Steroids

As the House Intelligence Committee and the Department of Justice unleash evidence of a coup d'etat by Obama's appointees at the FBI, the press is spinning faster than Rumpelstiltskin. Unlike Rumpelstiltskin who spun straw into gold, the American press wants to spin gold into straw.

Contrast and compare.

"The day in July 2016 that FBI Director James Comey defended to Congress the bureau’s decision in the Hillary Clinton email probe, two FBI officials traded admiring texts about his verbal dexterity — and mocking jibes at the lawmakers questioning him," Eric Tucker of the Associated Press reported.

"Newly revealed text messages between FBI paramours Peter Strzok and Lisa Page include an exchange about preparing talking points for then-FBI Director James Comey to give to President Obama, who wanted 'to know everything we’re doing,'" Jake Gibson of Fox News.

Same batch of text messages. Way too different reporting.

Most of the insipid press has ignored the presidential scandal of the century, while trying to turn the victim of the abuse of national security into the villain.
The story of the Obama administration spying on the Trump campaign on behalf of Hillary has been the two-ton pig flatulating in the press room for more than a year. I detailed that yesterday in "Media knew dossier was Fake News a year ago."

The Obama administration was by far the most corrupt presidency in the nation's history.

The cowardice of the press played a vital role in enabling Democrats to use Obama to run roughshod of the Constitution and federal law. The Fake News media's silence was complicity.

Because he was a black liberal, the press portrayed any criticism of Obama as racist -- even when the complainant was black.

Mentioning that he was inexperienced was racist. Mentioning that Obama's first political mentor was unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers was racist. Mentioning that Obama sat silently in his church while his minister said America deserved 9/11 was racist.

By repeated using his race to protect Obama, the press changed the meaning of racist to someone who disagrees with Obama.

Eight years later, it was just another name in Hillary's basket of deplorable labels to throw at critics.

But in those eight intervening years, the press provided Obama cover. And so the IRS harassed the tea party, Eric Holder OK'd leaving guns at the Mexican border, Hillary did not send troops to rescue an ambassador at Benghazi, and so on and so forth.

President Trump may place the sunlight on these scandals that the press failed to shine.

"Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ), a leading conservative member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, told Breitbart News Daily on Wednesday that he believes that there is an interconnectivity between various high-profile Barack Obama-era scandals and the latest revelations about corruption at the Department of Justice and FBI," Breitbart News reported.

"Gosar was asked during the interview on the SiriusXM 125 Patriot Channel show about the corruption on display in the release of the famed memo from House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) chairman Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) that detailed FISA court abuses by the FBI and DOJ in the lead-up to the 2016 election and in the months that followed now President Donald Trump’s win during the transition and even during his presidency."

The Good Guys wear MAGA hats.

From Linda Eastman's review at Legal Insurrection:
Surber, a recovering journalist with over 30 years of experience, has been cataloging the #FakeNews that has been regularly offered as serious analysis of President Donald Trump’s actions, policies, and opinions. He has brought his enormous collection together in the longest, most serious book he has yet written: Fake News Follies 2017.
"Fake News Follies of 2017" is available on Kindle and in paperback.

Autographed copies are available. Email me at for details. I am including a "director's cut." I'll email you back the original Chapter 1 that I cut because while the chapter was amusing, it really had nothing to do with the "Fake News Follies of 2017."

Ben Garrison did the cover and I am so happy with it. I told him what the book was about, sent him a copy of the manuscript, and he came up with a perfect cover. I am so pleased.

  1. "There is no way in which the Party can be overthrown. The rule of the Party is forever. Make that the starting point of your thoughts."

    - O'Brien to Winston Smith, 1984

  2. It's NOT that the press is cowardly, it's that the press is a WHOLLY-OWNED SUBSIDIARY of the Democrat party.

  3. Typo: "Mentioning that was inexperienced was racist." Believe you omitted the word "he" from that sentence.

    1. Whew! Thanks! I'd never have figured that out on my own.

  4. Prediction: The success or failure of the Republicans in the fall will be in proportion to how far along they are with the investigations and prosecutions that the emerging evidence calls for.

If they think they can take any credit for Trump's economic success and ride this to a win they are in for a rude surprise.

  5. I read they're hurrying production of former FIB Director Comey's book.

Do they feel the need to get it out before he's indicted LOL?

  6. That's a great cartoon, but the artist left out CNN!

The CNN monkey's caption would be "Making Up Lies They Call The Truth," and he'd be standing on his head in a straitjacket!

  7. Rep. Godard is 100% correct. The Obama administration is the dirtiest ever.

    1. I think worthless Willie's regime was still worse. They are the force behind the scenes in Bathhouse Barry's prezi-Dunce.
Add top that HiLlARy and company owned the DNC lock stock and barrel through the 2016 campaign. Barry was just a tool of them in many respects.
