Trump is bringing Mueller down

Don't feud with Donald Trump. Too many have and wound up worse for wear. I gave 26 examples. No. 27 may be Robert Mueller, who has wasted the last seven months trying to frame President Trump.

Mueller has nothing -- and is losing his reputation.

Trump cannot fire Mueller. That would make him a martyr.

On July 21, I wrote:
President Trump needs to fire Robert Mueller -- but in a manner in which his enemies in Congress do not turn around and hire the Big Leak back.
Trump has to make Mueller too toxic to touch.
The plan is to investigate the investigator.
And that is what the New York Times reported he was doing:
President Trump’s lawyers and aides are scouring the professional and political backgrounds of investigators hired by the special counsel Robert S. Mueller III, looking for conflicts of interest they could use to discredit the investigation — or even build a case to fire Mr. Mueller or get some members of his team recused, according to three people with knowledge of the research effort.
Trump told that to the Times:
During an interview with The New York Times on Wednesday, Mr. Trump said he was aware that members of Mr. Mueller’s team had potential conflicts of interest and would make the information available “at some point.”
On October 30, I again made the case for not firing Mueller:
Robert Mueller poses no threat to anyone but himself. His arrogance -- hubris -- will do him in because he does not know whom he is dealing with. Mueller is a perfect media darling because he reflects so many of the swelled heads in the newsrooms.
Mueller is good, but stubborn. As head of the FBI, he personally directed the investigation of deadly anthrax attacks. The FBI hounded one man for seven years, but he was the wrong guy.

Taxpayers had to shell out $5.8 million to the victim of Mueller's abuse to settle his lawsuits.

That's more than we paid the victims of soon-to-be ex-Congressman John Conyers, a Democrat from Detroit.

Mueller's unwillingness to back down will cost him everything because he is up against an innocent man who happens to be president.

Over the weekend, the results of Trump's investigation of Team Mueller surfaced. Mueller had to fire his top investigator because that investigator left a trail of anti-Trump emails, and was caught destroying evidence and altering statements in that Fake Investigation of Hillary's emails.

President Trump timed the leak to blunt the damage from Lieutenant General Michael Flynn copping a plea to get out from under a million-dollar bill from lawyers.

But Trump's fortunes also were boosted when Brian Ross of ABC News mistakenly said Trump asked Flynn to contact Russians before the election.

This was leaked by Team Mueller. ABC News suspended Ross. Will we suspend Mueller?

Especially after Tuesday's leak to Reuters that Mueller subpoenaed Trump's bank records -- which President Trump easily proved was Fake News.

Mueller should have wrapped this up by Thanksgiving. Instead, he is flogging that dead horse called the Russian dossier.

I am wondering when the press will start turning down his leaks. Who wants to be the next Brian Ross?

Did he have that much to begin with?

    1. They talk about Robert Mueller now as if he were some kind of titan, but he was a nearly-anonymous failure during his FBI tenure. Nobody would ever have given Mueller a second thought if not for this Trump frame-up.

    2. They like to use he was a Marine tactic which makes him look honorable and dedicated. I love my Marine Brothers but even they got to know when they're being conned? There have been plenty of Marines in our government over the years who turned out to be not so honest just like members of other branches of our Military. This Stork Faced bastard is the most dishonorable scum bucket that ever served in the FBI (Federal Bumbling Idiots)!!

  2. Mueller is taking the left wing media down with him. Lefties and NeverTrumpers get excited when the media reports Mueller found something on Trump only to be down in the dumps when the reports prove time and again to be false.

    1. He is also immunizing Trump. Afterwards any accusation is going to be met with disbelief.

  3. I hope he continues, every time he leaks to the propaganda media it just show more of the bias and deep state operatives.
It is also a good comedy routine watching the media try and explain so many errors in their stories that are based on the leaks from the Mueller team.

  5. I voted for Trump not because I agreed with him on most things but after Romney/McCain/Bush I wanted someone that would fight. He hasn't let me down.

    2. Trump not only fights - he beats his enemies into a messy pulp. If it turns out that the White Hat theory on Mueller is true, I'll have to eat my words on this, otherwise Mueller won't have a shred of credibility left and will write the sequel to Hillary's book: What The Hell Happened?

    4. I originally supported Scott Walker because I thought he would fight. Like you I didn't agree with Trump on much, but supported him for the same reason you did. Now, let's ask ourselves this. Would any of these so-called Republicans we would have wanted given us Gorsuch, the remaking of the federal juridically, and numerous other conservative policies Trump has? Of course not. And there would be more if he had his party behind him all the way. I'm proud now I voted for him.

  6. I wonder if these "leaks" are coming from Mueller or are actually a false flag thing coming from team Trump. In his position, I'd be fighting fire with fire to drive home the Fake News meme.

    Ya gotta love it.

  7. Trump has dealt with corrupt politicians in NYC and Atlantic City for what, 40 years? Not to mention corrupt union heads, corrupt "community organizers," corrupt media ... you get my point. He knows the ropes and he knows how to fight back.

It cracks me up that 99% of liberals out there think he's "stupid." I hope they continue to make this mistake.

    2. He's probably been thinking for years about how he'd like to get those crooked government SOB's he had to deal with. I imagine he knows their weaknesses.

    2. There is a guarantee that there is no proof. Otherwise, Flynn would not have been permitted to plead guilty to the lesser charge of lying to the FBI.

Expect that Muller will make a case for Obstruction of Justice and try and get Trump impeached for that, because he doesn't HAVE anything else.

  9. Don, you're one of the reasons I do not freak out at every bit of fake news. I tell the people who do to trust Trump because he knows what he's doing.

    Can't wait for book #3!

    1. Kitty, have you done Amazon reviews?
Don could use them. The books show up on searches more prominently once the number of reviews hits 50 and more so at 100. You don't have to have bought them on Amazon to create a review. ANYONE else a fan that hasn't reviewed? Get to it! It's a small favor considering all the great analysis and info we get from the honorable and esteemed Mr. Surber.

    2. Amazon tends to steer reviews of "Verified purchasers" to the top of the pile, though.

    3. The reviews for Pow Wow Chow are hilarious! Some of the recipes taste like they came straight out of a French restaurant, even though they are all authentic Native American dishes.

  16. What's to stop President Trump from telling Flynn and anyone else that Mueller backs into a corner that they'll get a pardon if they "hold the line"? And after a pardon what if he decided, by himself, with no notification to the person prosecuted, to pay their legal bills himself?

    ReplyDelete

    1. Apparently the FED is willing to collude with state prosecutors. The President apparently can only pardon federal crimes, eg not murder or DUI or selling loose cigarettes. Nice government we have here, eh?

  18. Mueller's got something to show for it, hasn't his outfit made about $7 Million off this little snipe hunt.

And could the FBIs reputation take a bigger hit - talk about the swamp. Remember the line from Con Air when the undercover DEA agent tells the plane full of cons that he's DEA - do they know what that means, and one of the cons replies "It means you're the most crooked ni**er on this plane." Welcome to the FBI 2017.

  20. He still has the Manafort Indictment.

Which, if I read it correctly is going to result in Mueller being greatly embarrassed.

That's if it even goes to trial. There's a real risk for Mueller that the trail jusdge could throw the entire case out due to Mueller lacking any authority to indict.

(That has to do with his appointment being legally deficient and only authorizing a counter-intelligence investigation and not a criminal one.)
