Shut up, Obama

Barack Obama today disgraced himself and the office he once held by going overseas and criticizing Our President.

This will come to bite his sycophants in the press and his loathsome Marxist supporters. And not just because feuds with President Trump usually end up worse for the experience.

Obama just set a precedent.

"At least I'll go down as a president."

Having burnt himself once, one would think that this self-proclaimed super-genius would have learnt.

But no.

There he was in India mocking the man who succeeded him and is, in one year, dismantling his legacy.

From Yahoo:
New Delhi (AFP) - Former US president Barack Obama said Friday that social media powers like Facebook, WhatsApp and Twitter are leading to "snap judgments to complex issues" and warned leaders to think before tweeting.
Obama was repeatedly asked about his successor, President Donald Trump, at a New Delhi symposium but stuck to a general warning to all high-profile figures to take care.
"I think it's important to be mindful of both the power of these tools but also its limits," Obama said when asked about the dangers of Twitter, a platform on which Trump has caused repeat controversies.
"What I would say is Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, all these various platforms are extraordinarily powerful tools, and those tools can be used for good and they tools can be used for ill," he said.
President Trump uses his Twitter account as a laser dot to distract the simple minded.

So I am not surprised that Obama did this.

Bad form on his part. He should think things through before opening his yap.

But he didn't learn from the time he dismissed the Islamic State as the JV squad.

Or the time he took on the Little Sisters of the Poor, who whupped him in court.

Or the time he went on Jimmy Kimmel and wound up looking like the loser he now is.

Please enjoy my two books about the press and how it missed the rise of Donald Trump.

The first was "Trump the Press," which covered his nomination.

The second was "Trump the Establishment," which covered his election.

  1. How's that laser dot theory playing out in Great Britain? Chance the racist gardener is just rambling--and indefensible, regardless of how hard you try to pass him as Chauncey Gardiner, 3d Chess Master. The Christmas caroling of Mike Flynn should really help old Chance with that laser pointer.

    1. Actually, if you follow British social media rather than listen to the elites of the country, Trump spoke for many of us.

    2. Man when you get more trump in 2020, you are going to be upset.

    3. In case you forgot (if you ever knew), Trump was the one who asked for Flynn's resignation over this very thing.

37 dimensional stealth ninja chess and this guy is still attempting to master the intricacies of 52 pickup.

    4. Trump asked for Flynn's resignation for lying to him about certain lack of disclosures to VP Pence, not for lying about what Flynn just plead guilty to. Geesh. You guys need to get some fresh air.

  2. Wasn't Barry the one who commemorated each holiday and the passing of greater people than he with a Twit selfie?

  3. I'm sorry, what exactly did Obama say that qualifies as "criticizing."
Now that the Russia investigation is slowly and obviously closing in on Trump, both Surber and Trump will be really ramping up their demonetization of Obama, Hillary, Democrats, Republican elites (whatever that is), Pocahontas, Fake News, etc. Face it, the laser pointer is running on its last battery. As I say often, pray for Mike Pence, he will be our president soon.

    1. Yep - auto correct snafu. Look for Trump to ramp up the crazy train for a few days. He's already started with public shaming of his one-time golden boy Rex Tillerson.

    2. Never learn what? Being right. I guess I don't. Your fuhrer is in trouble and everyone sees it coming.

    3. Just to be clear: 'the Russia investigation is closing in on whom'? You may want to check your sources, NYT, Newsweek, and WaPo may not be enough if you want truth instead of tripe...

    4. OMG. In your case being right is a state of mind, a delusional one at that. Try getting out of the bubble once in a while. Merry Christmas.

    5. After getting used to President Trump, Mike4 Pence is like plain white vanilla ice cream. Of, course, vanilla ice cream is nation's favorite but still, a new national pace and obama still critiquing the capitalists.

    6. "plain white vanilla ice cream."

Is that a racist slur? Think you libs and dems have run out of arguments because all you have as arguments are about race and gender.

  4. Social media is where some people go to talk and interact about what THEY want to share with others who are interested. Leaves the people who don't want to do so out of the picture. Including the media. We just don't care about the same things the media and politicians and Marxists care about, and those people don't understand why we don't. Too bad so sad -- and narcissistic, too. --BJ54

  5. Obama has something in common with Carter besides being a terrible President. Neither can keep their yaps shut.

  7. Why is Obama not being prosecuted for interfering with a sitting president? He's just a citizen with a security detail and big taxpayer funded expense account. He has no business talking to foreign leaders.

    1. Actually, private citizens have a First Amendment right to talk to anyone they want, including foreign leaders. Someone please tell Robert Mueller that.
