CNN just got Tucked

When Tucker Carlson began his show in January, I immediately got hooked. A veteran of 16 years of cable news, he finally hit his mark. The show's format was Bill O'Reilly's. Carlson roped in liberal crazies who thought they could go toe-to-toe with a veteran of CNN, MSNBC, and now Fox News.

He knocked 'em out.

At Reddit_The_Donald, they call this being Tucked.

On Monday night, Carlson sent CNN beddy-bye.

Via Breitbart:
Donald Trump’s feud with the media got even weirder and more intense over the weekend after the president tweeted a video of his staged brawl with wrestling mogul Vince McMahon with a CNN logo superimposed over McMahon’s face.
It was a little confusing since CNN and pro wrestling could not be more different.
One is an entertainment venture that promotes over-the-top fictional narratives and rigs its fights.
The other is the WWE, but whatever. There’s a word for this. It’s called trolling, the digital version of getting someone’s goad.
Should the president take time from running the free world to drive the media insane? Maybe not. Probably not. But he obviously enjoys it quite a bit.
Trump puts in 12-hour days. On his coffee breaks (he does not imbibe in coffee, preferring Diet Coke) he tweets. So Carlson was wrong on that last point, but nobody is perfect.

After watching hours earlier three of four Fox News All-Stars condemn the tweet -- and question President Trump's sanity (maybe they want to be tweeted out) -- Carlson's comments were refreshing.

Caution: Readers occasionally may laugh out loud at the media as they read this account of Trump's nomination.

  1. CNN: Clueless "News" Network.

  2. Tucker Carlson is my hero. He was one of the very few media guys to admit back in the early 00s that men are people, too, and as deserving of human rights as women are. Also one of the first to catch on to the idea that maybe feminism was not all it seems.

  3. It's all very well that he Tucks those liberal crazies, but Don does hospital corners and bounces a quarter off 'em as well.

    1. Hahaha...right you are, Dave! I love telling my Lib acquaintances: Our women are WAY better looking, our commentators are WAY smarter and funnier, and we pick up our trash after rallies. We're basically just better than you. Drives em nuts.

  4. Old media = the talking dead

  5. Off topic here, Don, but I get really hungry every time I see that picture of you with the hash browns and omelet. Where's the catsup?

    1. It's in the bottle to my right out of the picture never to be opened. Now if they were home fries, sure. By the way, McDonald's is 24-hour breakfast now. Instead of fries, I get hash browns. Crisper and hotter since they do not make a ton of them up in advance at night

    2. Think I'll tell my husband we're eating at Denny's tonight. I'm getting hash browns and a 2-egg omelette ;~)
