Democrats pressured Comey to investigate a Republican

Fake News CNN is way too clever for its own good.

President Jeff Zucker -- jealous of President Trump since their days at NBC -- has ramped up the yellow journalism (remember the Fake News about Trump hiring hookers to pee on Obama's bed?).

But Fake News CNN blew it this time.

From Fake News CNN:
First on CNN: Senators asked Comey to investigate AG Jeff Sessions for possible perjury
Really?

Democrats used their positions in Congress to "ask" Comey to investigate His Boss???

The spin of course is that Sessions did something wrong.

But its clumsy effort to smear Sessions unearthed a scandal that could lead to the expulsion of two senators -- if Congress had any ethics.
A pair of Democratic senators asked then-FBI Director James Comey to investigate Attorney General Jeff Sessions, amid concerns that he may have had an additional meeting with the Russian ambassador the US, Sergey Kislyak, according to letters obtained by CNN Thursday.
Sens. Patrick Leahy and Al Franken -- Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee -- sent the requests to Comey and, later, acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe in three letters dated March 20, April 28 and May 12.
Wow.

That is a serious charge Fake News CNN is making.

Senators should not be pressuring the FBI director to lead political witch hunts.

President Trump should ask Mitch McConnell to get to the bottom of this attempt to politicize the FBI.

On November 8, 2016, the American people said, "Trump the Establishment!"

Now read the book that explains how and why the press missed this historic election.

It is available on Kindle, and in paperback.

And then read the original, "Trump the Press," which chronicled and mocked how the media missed Trump's nomination.

It is available on Kindle, and in paperback

Autographed copies of both books are available by writing me at DonSurber@GMail.com

  1. "Senators should not be pressuring the FBI director to lead political witch hunts."

Why not? They asked the IRS to investigate Tea Party organizations and get the FBI to prosecute some of them.

Sens. Patrick Leahy and Al Franken - Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum.

    3. Leaky Leahy who may have gotten a CIA source killed but gets re-elected regularly and Criminally Elected Franken who won by illegal felon votes should not be in the Senate anyway.

  2. Ask Granny McConnell to actually do something? That'll be the day. He did get Gorsuch confirmed but that's about as much as he will do to help Trump (and us).

  3. It does not take much pressure to get a rat like Comey to go after a Republican. I do not understand why the Trump administration is not fighting back more effectively.

    1. I had expected arrests on the Flynn leak by now. We know who unmasked him, Susan Rice, now who did she inform/leak to. Polygraph them. If they refuse, which used to be a firing offense for a clearance holder and still is (?), fire them, pull their clearances, blacklist them forever and investigate them.
As a former clearance holder, both military and civilian, what is so damn difficult about doing this. Citizens need to know that the rule of law applies to all, even the elites.
We have not had a proper punishment for violating the law by elites since the Ford Admin investigated people in the Watergate cover up. resulting in the indictment of 69 people, with trials or pleas resulting in 48 being found guilty including two US AGs. Republicans going after Republicans; how unusual to see Democrats or even modern Republicans doing that.
This citizens is very angry; I expected more, especially after the HRC whitewash by Comey and the Obama DoJ.

Reckon Trump is an "Enough Rope" strategist.

      Just look at Kathy Griffin.

  4. I should say I am dismayed that McConnell is not leading the fight, it is almost like he wants Trump to fail. Why is that?
