Democrats need to Kumbaya

Today marks the second anniversary of billionaire Donald Trump's official entry in the 2016 presidential race, which he would win by the largest margin for a Republican since Reagan was president, and his vice president won 40 states.

On the day Trump entered the race, National Republic called him a baboon and a buffoon, also wrongly asserting that his wife was a surgically altered trophy wife. The New York Daily News depicted him graphically as a clown on its cover the next morning.

Not since slave-loving Democrats called Lincoln an ape and the N-word had a presidential candidate been smeared in this manner. The lack of respect -- of decency -- of decorum cast a pall over the political campaign.

To his credit, when slugged rhetorically by the mob calling themselves journalists, Trump elbowed back.

Journalists whimpered foul. My favorite pussy willow was Jonah Goldberg, who called Trump a bane of humanity -- and then cried when Trump said Goldberg couldn't buy a pair of pants.

Oh, how it stings the coward when the target fires back.

Trump's unwillingness be bullied by the Third Division Think Tankers, and his refusal to accept personal insults were one reason Republicans nominated him and Americans elected him president.

If you are unwilling to defend yourself, why should I trust you to defend the country?

Upon his 30-state victory -- the most states won since the real Clinton twenty years earlier -- the  press and the Democratic Party ramped up the rhetoric. Marxist psychiatric professors declared him insane.

Democrats greeted his inauguration with riots in the streets of Washington. The Antifa fascist wing of the Democratic Party continues its assaults on Trump's followers.

Yesterday, a Democratic Party activist went to a ballpark near Washington to hunt down Republican congressmen.

Why not? In the minds of so many Democrats -- including those with bylines -- Republicans are collaborators with Hitler.

This is what they mean by The Resistance. We are the Nazis, they are the liberators. They think this gives them license to kill.

House Majority Whip Steven Scalise of Louisiana may never fully recover from the Democrat's shot to the pelvis.

Rather than re-assess the situation, the vile members of the press doubled down on their hate.

The New York Times made the false equivalence to Jared Loughner shooting Democratic Congresswoman Gabby Giffords of Arizona.

Loughner was not a Republican, and is certifiably insane.

But the message of the Times was clear: Now we're even, Republicans.

The Times then used the Democrat shooting the Republican as a way to promote its perpetual campaign to repeal the Second Amendment.

From the Times editorial:
President Trump said just the right thing after the attack on Wednesday: “We may have our differences, but we do well in times like these to remember that everyone who serves in our nation’s capital is here because, above all, they love our country. We can all agree that we are blessed to be Americans, that our children deserve to grow up in a nation of safety and peace.”
Yet he will not help create that nation if he continues to advocate easy access to lethal weapons.
That was the most uncivilized editorial of the day.

Meanwhile, James Acosta of the CNN passed along more Fake News on Twitter re-tweeting a lie about the president not visiting Scalise at the hospital.
The president and the first lady indeed visited Scalise and sat at his bedside. What a waste of electricity it is to watch CNN, but it is a guilty pleasure, much like the Kardashians only dumber.

Acosta's retweet of the lie got 2,000 retweets. That is how you spread Fake News. Never double check, and then blame someone else when caught.

The time has come to Kumbaya, America. Let us join hands as members of Congress did on the evening of 9/11, and sing "God Bless America," a song written by an immigrant.

A legal immigrant who became a citizen.

Daniel Henninger of the Wall Street Journal led the way.

He wrote:
We know that political anger and violence can become mystical in its attraction, especially at the margin for people like political shooter James Hodgkinson. This is a good moment to dial it back. The Public Theater’s management could cancel their staged Trump assassination in Central Park. But they won’t. Like so many others with political disorder syndrome, they no longer can.
Democrats must accept the election results, eight months and seven days after the people voted.

"A house divided against itself cannot stand," as Lincoln said.

Or as Matthew 12:22-28 put it:
Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.
And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?
But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.
And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:
And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?
And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.
But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.
I don't think you have to be a Christian to get that message.

This is not who we are.

Stop it already.

Hate the media? Love the Trump?
Read the best two books on the subject.

On November 8, 2016, the American people said, "Trump the Establishment!"

Now read the book that explains how and why the press missed this historic election.

It is available on Kindle, and in paperback.

And then read the original, "Trump the Press," which chronicled and mocked how the media missed Trump's nomination.

It is available on Kindle, and in paperback

  1. It may not be who we are, but it is who they are. Commie control freaks.

    1. Thank you. The congressional lib's fake message of unity won't last a week.

  2. Take a look at the comments after this article.
Rather than do any introspection these animals are engaging in a staredown.
May as well admit it. We have no social contract with these people.

  3. The loser was from this sorry state:

  4. Acrtually, Don, they need to come to Jesus for a RIGHTEOUS scourging.

  5. After the attempted mass murder of Republican Reps, I have no interest in their apologies, excuses, or justifications. And I certainly have no interest in gathering around a camp fire with them to toast marshmallows and sing Kumbaya.
