Household income highest since 2002, thanks to President Trump

Remember Election Night, when Paul Krugman, the Nobel laureate in economics, said that Americans electing Donald Trump president had destroyed the world's stock markets? Next day, stocks went up 1% and we have enjoyed the biggest post-election rally ever.

And as Jack Kennedy, a better sailor than president, said, a rising tide lifts all boats.

Thus just three months into the Trump presidency, Americans have wiped out 15 years of steady decline, as real median household income is now at its highest since February 2002.

In just three months, President Trump has done more for the average American family than Bush 43 and Obama combined in their 16 years at the White House.

From Investor's Business Daily:
In April, real median household income reached $59,361, according to the latest report from Sentier Research. That's up 2% since January, and is as high as it's been since February 2002. Expressed as an index, median household income was 100.9 in April, which is the first time this index has topped 100 since December 2008.
By comparison, this index was also lower when Obama left office than when he came in — it stood at 99.2 in January 2009, and was 98.9 in January 2017. It was just 1.7% higher than when the recession ended in June 2009. Last year, incomes barely budged, Sentier data show.
Another way to look at it: median income has climbed faster in President Trump's first three months in office than it did during 7-1/2 years of Obama's economic "recovery."
Oh why pick on Obama?

There's plenty of failure to spread around.

America is coming back. We will Make America Great Again.

On November 8, 2016, the American people said, "Trump the Establishment!"

Now read the book that explains how and why the press missed this historic election.

It is available on Kindle, and in paperback.

And then read the original, "Trump the Press," which chronicled and mocked how the media missed Trump's nomination.

It is available on Kindle, and in paperback

  4. I expected it to be good under President Trump, but, if I knew it was going to be this good I would have voted for him twice!

  5. Just as on a sports teams if you have an encouraging optimistic leader, coming from behind or out of a slump is much more likely, so Trump and the anticipation he spreads in the private sector. Economic recovery has been even better than the Democrats prayed against. Obama was and is a downer guy always whining complaining lecturing scolding denying envy inciting, quoting scripture from false prophets. If Trump can turn the economic tables on him and his Krugmanbernanketrotskyiteacademics he will change politics and economic thought away from the far left for a generation and save the future of the next two of them at least from the listless life Obama said they deserved.

  7. Five storefronts are open again at the Strip Mall next to Martinsburg Mall in the three weeks since I was last there. We got a new Five Guys, a new Chili's, a new Panera. Proggies, this is not a mirage or some George Soros funded fakery. This is the Real Deal.

    1. Ah, Paullie "The Beard" Krugman. Of course he's never wrong, because he writes articles favoring opposing views of everything.

  10. I guess if you are pro Trump support you would write this, how soon we forget that the markets are going in the other direction. Soon he will be impeached.
