Sales zoom 557% as liberals boycott Ivanka

The best thing that could happen to a company is to be boycotted by liberals.

Ask Chick-Fil-A.

Ask Ivanka Trump -- whose line of clothing just set a record for sales, thanks to the lefty Grab Your Wallet boycott, which backfired.

Sales were up 557% in February.

Oh the limo liberals got Nordstrom's to crack. It dropped the Ivanka line. Well, rich snoots have hated the Trump family since forever, so no surprise.

But the hoi polloi love him and her.

From Market Watch:
Ivanka Trump’s signature perfume soars to No. 1 on Amazon
But wait. There's more!

From the Hill:
“Since the beginning of February, they were some of the best performing weeks in the history of the brand,” Abigail Klem, the president of the Ivanka Trump fashion brand, tells Refinery29 in an interview published Tuesday. “For several different retailers Ivanka Trump was a top performer online, and in some of the categories it was the [brand’s] best performance ever.”
 And there's even more.

The trade publication's story went further:
Although the company declined to share internal sales data, looking at products available online seems to support its claims: Out of 134 pairs of Ivanka Trump shoes on sale at Zappos, 43 are tagged with a blue “new” label, indicating that the site is still adding stock. Macy's also has items tagged as "new," and Bloomingdales and Dillard's still carry the brand on their sites.
Also, according to a Refinery29 report in February, Ivanka Trump perfume was the no 1. selling fragrance on Amazon, with commenters suggesting that they were purchasing the item to counter the boycott. And then there is Lyst, an e-commerce aggregator offering goods and tracking purchasing data from thousands of retailers, which found that from January to February, Ivanka Trump sales increased 346%.
If you compare February 2017 to the average orders in 2016, the brand sales increased 557%. Put another way: The Ivanka Trump brand was ranked as no. 11 in sales for the month of February, a jump all the way up from no. 550 in January.
"Ivanka Trump brand has never ranked in as a top seller on our site,” says Lyst's U.S. public relations director Sarah Tanner. “To see such an extreme spike in one month is completely unheard of and came as a huge surprise to us."
Now I will admit I am lost. I don't know a Zappos from a Groucho.

But I do know a little about boycotts. They are intended to send sales down -- not up 557% from the previous year's sales. Liberals could screw up a one-car funeral.

Good for her.

  1. I didn't figure Ivanka would be hurt by the feminist boycott anyway, I don't think her fashion line is plus-size.

    1. Lots of good-looking plus-size Conservative women out there.

This is the stuff that frosts the chi chi crowd in Palm Springs and Huntington Beach.

  2. It does my heart good that Ivanka's line of merchandise is doing well. Can you imagine if someone tried to boycott anything Chelsea could come up with?

Some in the MSM are saying Trump has had a bad week, but I simply don't see it. He's playing them like a Stradivarius.

    1. They've been saying Trump has been having a bad week since June, 2015. I can't imagine what it would take for them to declare he is having a good week. :D

      Presumably something to chisel with?

  3. Zappos is an on-line shoe seller. I though Macy's had dropped Ivanka.

This post is music to my ears.

  4. I ordered the Ivanka Trump perfume. It is absolutely wonderful. I have only one other I like better, and the Trump version is better for daily wear anyway. Personally, I probably wouldn't have bought it if it weren't for the boycott. Now, I'm a loyal customer. Thanks liberal boycott!

    1. I'm interested in trying it. What's the basic scent? Is it floral or spice or fresh?

  5. The Trumps are 1st class in my books and I might add that I would happily fall in love with Ivanka were she not already happily married.
Her product line success despite negative lefty intrusions is heartwarming to say the least.

Oh and Don...where the Marx Bros are concerned remember that its always 'a' before 'e' except before 'p'.

There now figure that one out!

    cheers SC
