Republican woman gives the answer of the day

That was Republican Delegate Kessinger's response to a Charleston Gazette reporter as to why she sponsored a bill to kill the Women's Commission.

    I suspect any man signing on to that bill would be considered a misogynist, but I have NO idea why the bill was written and what the Women's Commission does. Could you give us some background on this, Don?

      We have a $500 million hole in a $4.7 billion budget. Republicans want to close down shitty little commissions that employ Democratic operatives. Kayla Kessinger decided to take out the Women's Commission. The reporter is a run-of-the-mill rainbow/feminist establishment type who protects the liberal status quo

    Erin is a feminist and is looking for a reason---any reason---to delegitimize the bill, not on its merits, but on grounds that have to do with the optics.
