Environmental protesters are polluting

NBC News reported that federal officials believe pipeline protesters in North Dakota probably pollute.

From NBC News:
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has given a evacuation order to those protesting at the Dakota Access Pipeline camp in Cannon Ball, North Dakota.
In a statement Friday evening, the Corps said it would close the Oceti Sakowin Camp, which sits on approximately 50 acres of Corps land, on Feb. 22 due to the "high potential for flooding" in the low-lying area.
But wait. There's more:
The Corps said oil erosion and pollution — which it attributed to the "unauthorized placement of structures, vehicles, personal property, and fires" on the land over the course of more than six months — could result in contaminated runoff into both rivers.
"As stewards of the public lands and natural resources, we have a responsibility to the public to prevent injuries and loss of life," said U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Omaha District Commander, Col. John Henderson. "We must also ensure our precious water resources are free from pollution due to human activities and respect for all who rely on this water for their livelihoods."
Environmentalists are watermelons -- green on the outside and red in the midle.

They do not want to save the Earth.

They want to stop capitalism.

Pipelines are the safest way to transport oil and natural gas, as well as other chemicals.

Also, pipelines are cheaper than other modes of transportation.

The ignorance of protesters is at times astonishing.

Please read "Trump the Press," in which I skewer media experts who wrongly predicted Trump would lose the Republican nomination. "Trump the Press" is available as a paperback, and on Kindle.

It covers the nomination process only. The general election is covered in a sequel, "Trump the Establishment," which will be published in paperback on Tuesday.

  1. I wouldn't say they're ignorant; they know where their money is coming from.

  2. My guess is that someone tested the water and noticed the fecal count had soared. This is the precious water that flows downstream into Indian lands. The first rule for all of Nature's dumb creatures, especially modern so-called environmentalists, is "Don't Poop in Your Nest or Your Source of Water and Food."

  3. There was never a good knife made with bad steel, and there's no clean environment to be had with filthy "protestors".

  4. The people building the pipeline care more about the soil and water around it than the people protesting its construction. The people protesting it have been sold this image of Snidely Whiplash and the robber barons of old.
