Fox News adds Nigel Farage

Megyn who? Nigel Farage will join Fox News as a commentator on it and Fox Business News.

From the Guardian:
New York Magazine’s Gabriel Sherman has reported that the media mogul, who owns the Sun and Times newspapers in London, speaks to Trump at least three times a week.
Trump has publicly praised Farage, posing with him just after his election victory and tweeting that he would make a “great” ambassador to the US.
On Thursday night, Farage and his ally Aaron Banks, who bankrolled the Leave.EU campaign, held a party at a Washington hotel near the White House.
During the event, Farage repeatedly praised Trump, describing him as “the only person I have ever met in my life who makes me feel like an introvert” and saying that “Brexit is great, but Trump is Brexit plus plus plus.”
Best British import since the Beatles.

If they put him on the Fox New All-Stars panel, he would serve as a witty and sharp counterbalance to all those dumdums from the Weekly Standard and National Review, won't he?

However, he may remain in England as he is a Member of the European Parliament, and he has a radio show on LBC.

The Hill reported:
“Brexit was great, but Trump becoming president of the USA is Brexit plus plus plus,” Farage said at an inauguration party in Washington on Thursday night.
“He was right when he called it a movement but a movement can’t exist, a movement can’t flourish without a leader and Trump is the only person I’ve ever met in my life who makes me feel like an introvert. He is a larger than life personality. When he was given the rule book for how you run for president, he tore it up."
No salary was disclosed.

Please read "Trump the Press," in which I skewer media experts who wrongly predicted Trump would lose the Republican nomination. "Trump the Press" is available as a paperback, and on Kindle.

It covers the nomination process only. The general election will be covered in a sequel, "Trump the Establishment."

  1. Farage is a great man. I have watched him pillory his inferiors at the European Parliament for a long time.

  2. First Tucker, now Nigel. What are they trying to do, attract viewers and advertising $$?

  3. Hmmmm, I might have to watch Fox once again. Bob Beckel is back on The Five Zeroes, but they will have to show more than KG's boobs in a tight dress to get me to tune in.

  4. Nigel would screw with the Leftards' heads so much that they'd wind up in the chuckle ward.

  5. Cavuto loved to go to Daniel Hannan for expert perspective (as well as a certain POTUS) that never failed, so this is a good development.
