McDonald's Trump

Twitter was a-twitter last night about Trump's victory meal -- a Big Mac and fries -- while Comrade Bernie Sanders dined on Coriander Crab Salad and Herb Crusted Lamb Loin. The difference is Trump pays for his lunch, while Big Donors pay Sanders way.

But Trump and Mickey D's go back a long way. His mom was a Scot and well, McDonald's is Scottish cuisine without the haggis.

You know who else ate at McDonald's? That's right.

  1. How many regular people eat Coriander Crab Salad and Herb Crusted Lamb Loin?

Another way Trump shows who he's for.

And "Mc" is Irish, "Mac" is Scots, so I'm guessing the original McDonald was probably one of the many Scotch-Irish who came to this country.

  2. I wonder if Bernie has a dacha on a lake in the Green Mountains? - Elric

  3. Coriander Crabs and Crusted Loins? Y'know, I hear there's a salve for that, Bernie.

First item on the agenda if Comrade Bernie gets elected:

  4. Chinet plates (the Cadillac of paper plates) and ketchup packets.

The man knows how to promote, market, and sell. None of his foes know enough to make a dent into him

And I address the foes remark to those on the right. They do not know enough. They sit in their seminars and intone "constitutional conservativism" but have never made a sale.

Karl Marx is the dullest reading you will come across - it is mummifying. Che is on the tee-shirts. The Commies marketed that brilliantly. (OOO! He's a murderer! OOOOO! Millions dead!

Yeah? And? They won the race to the market, they got to define themselves and they turned around and defined you.)

The right wants to start winning then they got to watch The Donald closely, figure out how to promote, market, and sell, and then go out and do that -

without boring everyone in the first 30 seconds.

I know, tough assignment. But do you want to win, or do you want to be regulated to the role of "foil" on the Sunday shows forever?

    - Mikey NTH

    1. Quite frankly I don't give a damn about what "conservatives", "constitutional conservatives" or "Christian conservatives" think, do or say. If there is one thing that has become glaringly obvious over the past six years is that the ultraviolet and infrared of the political spectrum are the BIGGEST problem we face as a nation. For too long these two extremes have divided us and distracted us from what really matters. Ringht now our attention shoulod be focused on the millions of illegals being brought into this country by the Obama regime. What is the number one news story and discussion topic? Stupid transgendered bathrooms. Both the ultraviolet and infrared want the same things as has been proven over the past six years-they are two sides of the coin of totalitarianism.

Both extremes of the political spectrum need to never be allowed to have any control over anything. They are both insane and should be treated as the mentally deranged lunatics and cult members they are.

    2. The Left wants us distracted by the shiny object; right now that's TG rest rooms.

  5. It should be "relegated" not "regulated" above.

The first principle of Practical Politics is win.
It is actually the only principle of Practical Politics.

Political Philosophy is something different and is not, really, Practical Politics.

Without political victory, your principles will never advance. So fight to win, or just stay posing for self-portraits.

    Your choice.

  6. Don, I beg you, never compare The Donald to The Great One. Trump may fool me and beat Shrillary, but he couldn't carry Reagan's jockstrap, not as a man, not as a leader, not as anything unless you count a talent for inspiring mindless adoration.
