Will the media who cheered Obama's War on Fox News now support Trump's?

Fed up with Megyn Kelly's filed attempt to portray him as a misogynist in the first Fox News debate, Donald Trump decided not to appear in Fox News's second debate.

"Let's see how much money FOX is going to make on the debate without me," he told reporters in Marshalltown, Iowa.

Trump's boycott could cost Fox News millions if his absence drags the ratings down.

President Obama has waged an eight-year war against Fox News. Rival networks and media outlets cheered Obama on. I expect them to hypocritically attack Trump for saying no to Thursday's debate.

The boycott of the debate followed a nonsensical statement from Fox News that mocked an online poll that asked Trump's Twitter followers if he should go. Fox News snarked: "We learned from a secret back channel that the Ayatollah and Putin both intend to treat Donald Trump unfairly when they meet with him if he becomes president — a nefarious source tells us that Trump has his own secret plan to replace the Cabinet with his Twitter followers to see if he should even go to those meetings,"

The lack of professionalism may have been the last straw.

"Megyn Kelly's really biased against me," Trump said. "She knows that. I know that. Everybody knows that. Do you really think she could be fair at a debate?"

Looks like a bad move on his part, but we shall see. Much of his appeal is that he takes no crap at all from the media.

This is high stakes poker. His candidacy is on the line -- as is the credibility of Fox News with conservatives.

So will the media who cheered Obama's War on Fox News now support Trump's?

Of course not. The media like the academia it apes is infested with social justice warriors who care nothing about the truth or free speech. If they did, they would never have gone along with Obama's -- excuse me Harry Reid's -- blatant lies about Mitt Romney in 2012.

I have a theory about Megyn Kelly; she is a Rupert Murdoch hire, not Roger Ailes.

Ailes built a juggernaut that the Murdoch family will piddle away to appease their liberal peers (who by the way, will never accept them).

  1. Megyn Kelly has been biased against him. He goes on FOX and takes tough questions from O'Reilly and others but there is no need for him to be put in a position where that ...
is allowed to ask biased and obnoxious questions that are more commentary than debate material.
Screw FOX and to hell with Megyn Kelly.

  2. The beautiful Megyn is being unfair to The Donald? What's the matter, she won't go out on a date with him? The sexual tension between them is palpable. Look out Melania. Better keep The Donald on a short leash. LOL.

Look, I figure if Trump is AOL from the debate, maybe it will concentrate on matters that do not involve him and the other candidates finally will have a chance to get their campaign messages across...if they actually have them. DT has had more than a fair share of time on TV. I am starting to get the DTs from watching people like MK froth at the mouth over his candidacy. Move on, Fox. Trump is there, Trump is not there. Who cares?

    1. --What's the matter, she won't go out on a date with him? --

Maybe she's just ticked because he didn't ask her.

  3. It would not surprise me to learn that with Trump absent from the debate, all the others will take the opportunity to talk about him--in which case he will wind up with *more* media attention than he would have gotten had he participated.

  4. My guess is that his poll numbers will rise. The elitists of both parties are clueless as to what is happening and will continue with their same old, tired tactics to try to destroy Trump. It won't work. The only one I've seen who has an inkling as to what is going on is Pat Caddell.

  5. The Master Persuader sees no need for a rematch with Megyn. - Elric

  6. He's afraid of a GIRL. What a wuss.

  7. In 2015, DonJohn was tied for 169 on the list of the 200 richest persons in the US.
