Congressman joins the Trump Schadenfreude List

Democratic Congressman Joe Crowley is in his 20th year in the House representing Queens, where President Donald John Trump was born.

Since we elected Trump president, Congressman Crowley has badmouthed our president.

In January, Crowley told the Queens Chronicle, "I never thought he was fit for office, but every day, he proves it more and more. But I’m not at the level of impeachment at this point ... You have to have grounds for impeachment and incompetence, unfortunately, is not grounds for impeachment."

While he was trashing Trump, Crowley was not taking challenger Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez seriously. After all, she was 8 when he was first elected to Congress.

"Rep. Joe Crowley, the powerful chairman of the House Democratic Caucus seen as a potential future speaker, was unseated Tuesday night by primary challenger Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in his New York City district," Politico reported.

"Ocasio-Cortez had 58 percent of the Democratic primary vote to 42 percent for Crowley when the Associated Press called the race with 85 percent of precincts reporting."

Make no mistake. She's a loony lefty.

But for the past two years, Representative Crowley has done nothing but bang his gums about President Trump.

His opponent can do that plus she is Hispanic, has ideas (loony though they may be), and isn't older than VHS.

Feuding with President Trump is futile. You will not win. Trust me. And more likely, you will lose because you are distracting your attention from more important things.

Such as the upcoming primary.

  2. She’s a socialist running on socialist ideas. And I saw that only about 10% of registered voters showed up to vote. Of course, 50% of those registered may be dead or illegals. Anyways, the democrat party continues to shift further left to open socialism.

The democrat party may end up on the schadenfreude list!!!

    1. Only 10% turnout? That's very interesting. If that indicates the level of interest in Dem voters in a Dem stronghold, it means no way in hell will there be a blue wave come November. The party leadership must be terrified and wondering what more they can do to gin up interest in the Dem voter base. Short of handing control of the party over to the extremists, they have done just about everything imaginable to energize their base by demonizing Trump and his supporters.

    2. In big cities the lower the turnout the more radical the winner, because only the really committed are showing up. Plus, if much of your rank and file base is working class and you have just spent the last two years bashing the one president that has really helped the working class in recent memory, they aren't going to be all that enthusiastic about returning you to office. Crowley's opponent will probably win this fall. Will she be re-elected in two years?

    3. I live in NY and barely knew about this primary. It turns out, while the usual primary is held in September (go figure!) they were forced to hold a primary for Federal offices based on some court ruling. Of course, instead of combining the primaries into one date, they are holding two this year, at enormous cost to the taxpayers.

  3. As the Dem base becomes more frustrated and hysterical, the extremists among them are going to gain more of a folllowing. This is good for us, because these extremists might do well in the primaries, but they'll scare off voters in the general election.

  8. My confidence in y’all is very high, but still I will say again: Get off your dupas and vote. Crowley’s people didn’t and now he’s out of a job soon. NEVER take anything for granted in politics, especially with the current craziness going on amongst the Libtards.
