Trump doesn't need a Nobel but the Nobel needs Trump

President Donald Trump's efforts to conclude the Korean war after 68 years have people clamoring for a Nobel Peace Prize for The Donald. Certainly he earned the award.

But bear in mind, the Nobel needs Trump more than he needs a Nobel.

A five-member committee from Norway selects the winner. Marxist infiltration of the committee that awards the prize has rendered the Nobel Peace Prize useless. Awarding Obama one for winning the presidency totally discredited the prize.

Technically it covered his unsuccessful work on nuclear disarmament, but we all know this was a Norwegian middle finger to the American people for daring to elect and re-elect George Walker Bush as their president.

Harry J. Kazianis, director of defense studies at the Center for the National Interest, founded by former President Richard M. Nixon, articulated the argument for a Nobel for Trump.

"At the conclusion of the day-long summit between North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un and South Korean President Moon Jae-in Friday, one thing was clear: the meeting would never have taken place if not for President Trump. And for this achievement, President Trump deserves the Nobel Peace Prize," Kazianis wrote.

He later stated, "President Trump’s tough stance against a nuclear North Korea and his success in winning approval of international economic sanctions against the North at the United Nations that have crippled the country’s economy clearly succeeded beyond expectations in pushing Kim to the negotiating table."

Leonid Bershidsky, a Russian journalist, wants Kim and Trump to split the award.

That would be like making the Philadelphia Eagles share their Super Bowl rings with the Cleveland Browns.

"If a working Korean peace deal is the only good thing they do in their lifetimes, it may well be enough to redeem them and to supplant all the nasty stuff they’ve said and done," Bershidsky said.

Kim starves his own people, executes relatives, kidnaps Japanese citizens, tortures American tourists, and poisons relatives abroad as well.

Trump tweets.

The amoral equivalency of Bershidsky is an affront to humanity that should shame Bloomberg News and its staff, who published it.

Trump alone earned the prize by forcing Kim to surrender. And that is what this is, a surrender.

I hope Trump makes it clear he does not want the award.

The Nobel Peace Prize committee does not deserve validation by President Trump. Lobbying for the award gives it a value it should not have, because sure as shooting the committee will blow any regained credibility by politicizing the award next year.

  1. I predict that the Oslo Leftists will give a joint award to KJU and ROK President Moon, just as they did with Begin and Sadat.

    1. I agree with your prediction. That's assuming that the whole thing is not some sort of set up where, say, N. Korea invades the South as China locks down the South China Sea and takes Taiwan. If Prize were awarded and then that or something equally bad happened, would Norwegian Nobel Committee take Prize back?

  2. The Nobel Committee are only capable of seeing Trump as 'spoiling' for war; indeed they still think he's up to that.

  3. Great insight Don. Along those lines, think of how big of a point President Trump could return the favor to the Norse and refuse the award. Here’s a big ‘one’ back to youse guys....

  4. Two words: Jimmy Carter. The proof of the pudding is in the eating. I have yet to hear anything from Trump that even hints at sour grapes. Two reasons: he is a winner and he does not give up. Go get 'em again, Donald!

  5. Remember all those Miss-me-now-Bush bumper stickers that cropped up after the 2008 election? Has any seen any Miss-me-now-Obama bumper stickers?

    1. No, but lots of cars in SoCal still have those Obama stickers... sometimes I think the wrong people got labelled "bitter clingers."

  6. Betcha a dollar Mr. T would rather shoot 72 at Bedminster than win the Nobel Peace Prize.

  7. Disarming the Norks, looks to be PDT first act of an intended two act play. What are the Noblettes in Oslo do if 45 delivers on 44's promise and disarms the Mullahs in Iran? Send nappies to Oslo.

  8. From a friend of mine, and too perfect not to share here:

"Uh, so yeah, a lotta people are saying I should get the Nobel Peace Prize, a whole lotta people, you wouldn't believe how many. But you know what? It doesn't matter. First of all, Alfred Nobel - do I have that right?- was a total loser. Toe Tall Loser. That's right. Invents TNT and feels bad about it? Sad. Just sad. Everyone thinks it is sad. I hear so many people say it. And second, if they gave this award to Obama - I mean, c'mon folks, how cheap can this award be? One failure being given an award named after another failure? Why would I want that? No. They can keep it.."

    1. Oh, that is perfect, isn't it! I just read it out loud, and it sounds just like one of Trump's speeches.

Nailed it in the content, too!

  9. Don't forget the 1973 NPP went to Mr. Henry "New World Order" Kissinger.
PDJT should absolutely refuse it, either with a VSG tweet or even just totally ignoring it.

  10. While President Trump has done more to advance peace in our life time than either Jimmy the Peanut or Barry Soetoro, The Nobel Prize having been awarded to them makes it a meaningless insult to those who do good.
But, lets say the committee decides to make it a joint award to Un and Moon, wouldn't it be even better if they turned it down and pointed out that with out President Trump, the war would still be on? Or if i were offered to all three that they decline with one word, Obama?
I think that would delight me more than any thing that the marxists in Oslo could do.
Mark GOD's word though, the time when we begin to say Peace and Prosperity is the time Lucifer will strike and peace will be swept from the earth and GOD's people attacked by every force that can raise a stick to strike us.

  11. Commies will shill for commies, but your point about the Prize is on the money.

  12. If they offer it to him alone, or him and Xi, I could see him accepting it. If they offer it to him and KJU jointly, that would be so profoundly insulting I think he should start a war with Norway.

  13. As a Trump admirer, shading to enthusiast, we're confident he'll know better than to "validate" these long-time anti-American poseurs.

The Lord's Peace be with you, Sir... and also with us.
