Tariffs? USA may subsidize Chinese cars

China sells three times as many goods and services to the United States as it buys from us.

Globalists call this free trade. It isn't. China put up barriers to our products, while stealing our technology, and ignoring our intellectual property rights.

We follow the rules. They break them. That's not free trade. That's exploitation.

China will introduce a car to the United States next year.

The Trumpchi.

While China imposes a 25% tariff on our automobiles, our government will subsidize purchases of this Made in China auto.

"The company is also planning to unveil electric vehicles for export to the United States as well as Europe. They’re hoping to benefit from the $7,500 tax credit currently in place for electric car buyers stateside. This would act as a subsidy for them to gain a foothold in the US market," Car and Driver reported.

I trust President Trump will not just say no, but hell no as well.

And impose a 50% tariff on Chinese cars.

  1. A virtue-signalling electric vehicle bearing Trump’s name.

The Greenies are going to be ... conflicted.

  2. There has never been a time in the history of the world where markets have been free. It is a lie to talk about free markets. Any use of the term is an act of propaganda.

  3. The Trumpchi? Must include a tacky orange spray paint job. Putin would be sure to own one. Engine would whine a lot. When it breaks down it no doubt it's Obama's fault.

    1. The Obamaphone. Spies on us and steals our data. It didn't work. There was never a chance that it ever WOULD work. But our consciences and our sense of privilege were still eased by signing up for it long-term.

YUP! As I've said before, any Lame Brain making such asinine comments is better off, for his (or her) sake to remain "Anonymous"

At least when I criticized his (Evidently) political preferences (The O'Bungler, Shrill-Liar-Ly, Commie Bernie etc. etc. etc.) I have the balls to identify myself.

  6. Hey -- the Chicoms didn't *steal* US intellectual property. They paid for it with campaign contributions to Bill Clinton, Algore, probably Obama and Hillary Clinton as well.
