Journalism schools are propaganda schools

"Fourteen journalism schools have now signed a letter denouncing Sinclair Broadcast Group for ordering local TV anchors to read controversial on-air scripts about Fake News," HuffPost reported.

Really?

Are the schools going to attack ABC, CBS or NBC for their in-house ads?

Of course not. The Marxists have created a niche standard to cover one event.

These professors do not want CNN and the rest held accountable for their Fake News. That is bad for their business, which is conning youngsters into borrowing tens of thousands of dollars to learn a trade that is oversupplied with experienced workers.

Even if they get a job, all but a few will earn less than an elementary schoolteacher.

In a public letter to Sinclair, the J-schoolers wrote, "In making the leap to disparage news media generally ― without specifics ― Sinclair has diminished trust in the news media overall. Ironically, Sinclair’s use of news personnel to deliver commentary ― not identified as such ― may further erode what has traditionally been one of the strongest allegiances in the news landscape, the trust that viewers put in their local television stations."

Not identified as commentary?

The J-schoolers just described the news pages of the New York Times, Washington Post, and most newspapers in America.

I should send them copies of Fake News Follies of 2017.

  1. (1) Letters from the publisher are not unusual.
    (2) "Disparages news media" is kind of weird since Sinclair would be disparaging itself.
    (3) The volume of yelling over an innocuous letter from the publisher saying that they would not spread fake news tells me that some people looked in the mirror and didn't like what it revealed.

  2. The letter said what they all think and want. Their only problem with it was the optics.

There are dozens of similar videos out there which show journalists all reading from the same kind of distributed talking points. They just didn't get distributed to the extent that this one was.

Anyone remember Journolist? You have to be an idiot to think that when it was found out that some other method was developed to keep everyone on the same page, only it hasn't yet been uncovered. Just look at them singing the samesong about Syria now. Push the president into war, then attack him over the consequences. Gee, where have we seen this before?
