Jail Deep Staters who ignore Congress

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein's refusal to obey congressional subpoenas forced Republican Congressman Mark Meadows of North Carolina to threaten the political appointee with impeachment.

Not jail?

"I think that if he does not turn over the documents, that there are a growing number of us on Capitol Hill who believe that someone else needs to do the job. And what happens there is, Constitutionally, we have some things that we can do," Meadows told Fox News.

He's a member of the freedom Caucus.

He's not alone. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte of Virginia, House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy of South Carolina, and President Trump are among those upset with it.

Why isn't Rosenstein in jail?

Isn't that what happens to people who ignore subpoenas?

Republicans need to be ruthless with these people who break the law while on the clock. The public should not pay public servants to work against our elected officials.

"We got no documents from the Department of Justice. Just a phone call. This is unacceptable -- it's time to stop the games. Turn over the documents to Congress and allow us to conduct oversight," Meadows tweeted.

Stop tweeting.

Start doing.

Rosenstein deserves jail until those documents are in the hands of Congress.

  1. Seems to me like Mr. Trump could call him up and TELL him in stark terms, turn them over within 3 hours or You are FIRED.

    2. And he has not done so. Why?

An interesting question that opens a garden of speculation on one question:

"Why doesn't the President of the United States order that these documents be brought to him, and once done, he just gives them to Congress?"

Because he is president and he can see *any* document his underlings can see.

This would be a great question for all of those high-priced lawyers* to work over:

"Is there any document produced by the Article II executive branch of the US government that the president is not permitted to see?"

*I'm a sub-price lawyer that picks pennies up off the ground.

    1. I have it on good authority that Obama's skin color is natural.

Joe Biden even said, "I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy,” he said.

So there's no reason to believe that his skin color is fraudulent, only all his documentation. Therefore it's doubtful any spray tan was involved!

Don't fret yourself; while John Kerry may end up being indicted, that would be for tax evasion. He's too stupid for anyone to actually trust him with a role in any conspiracy against the USA.

  6. We need to consider that the requested documents may be evidence in an investigation and imminent indictment(s). If so, Rosenstein would be prevented from turning over the evidence and would be prohibited from informed Congress of the reason they were being withheld. One way or another, the truth will eventually come out. - Elric

    1. This investigation is a monstrosity. The only thing the FBI has proved is that it is corrupt and unreliable.

      Whatever happened to America?
