“Why are we still talking about the campaign?”

Meghan McCain grabbed the headline -- "The Clintons are a virus in the Democratic Party" -- but Sara Haines provided the substance: "Why are we still talking about the campaign?"

Indeed.

The two are on "The View," the granddaddy of all-female TV news panels in which the women prove to be just as dumb as men.

The Better Half, my eye.

With Hillary stumbling along in India (literally; there is a video of her falling down the steps twice despite being escorted by burly men) the gals of "The View" piped in. Hillary called Trump voters deplorable. Again. And blaming misogyny. Again. And blaming Comey. Again.

McCain was having none of this.

"She ran one of the worst campaigns ever. She didn’t do the ground game in Wisconsin and North Carolina she should have. I think at this point, if you can’t stop making this about virtue signaling and race, a lot of it was about poverty, a lot of it was about the economy, a lot of it was just this Anti-Washington sentiment, anti-establishment sentiment we should have seen growing with the Tea Party. Honestly, I have to tell you. It’s one thing to lose to President Obama. It’s an entirely other thing to pull off losing to President Trump. And you gotta come up with a better excuse than this," McCain said.

Whoopi Goldberg and Joyless Joy Behar blamed Russia, and Comey.

McCain brushed it aside saying, "The Clintons are a virus in the Democratic Party. You have to move on."

But Haines really lit into Clinton without being personal or political in her attack. In fact, hers was not an attack at all, but one big question: "I think her whole answer was also looking backward. That was in 2016. Why are we still talking about the campaign? She wrote the book. It gave a bit of catharsis, like her side of what went down and that’s great. I think part of what people discovered in that election if you lean Democratic is that the party didn’t have messaging. it missed a lot of things."

Remember Romney's book about his loss? McCain? Kerry? Even Goofy Al Gore didn't rag on his loss year after year after year.

If Hillary is the role model for your daughter, you are not doing it right.

  1. Hillary...what in the dickens is wrong will that creature. She had great expectations that amounted to pip diddly squat; and now she's trapped in a Miss Havesham time warp.

A Maga witch without a doubt!

    1. She's an alcoholic. That´s why she has all these falls and accidents.

Last fall she broke a toe because, according to Hillary, "I was running down stairs in heels with a cup of coffee in hand..." Coffee? I think not. Hillary run? Yeah, right. The woman can barely walk. She has more explanations/stories than even teenagers can dream up, which is classic alcoholic behavior. To say we dodged a bullet is an understatement.

    2. Nice Anon. If she had won, the White House would be the Bleak House and we would be living in Hard Times.

  2. Speaking about the mid-term elections coming up... Why do a lot pundits say there is no excitement and momentum on the right? They're saying the Left is all fired up, which is why yesterday's PA race is tied (as of right now). I don't find a lack of excitement or momentum on the Right. I don't know why the PA race is so close in an area which Trump won with 20% of the vote. I know nothing about Saccone, but I tend to think in these circumstances that the R-candidate might be too much of a RINO, or maybe the Dems called out their dead to vote. But a lack of excitement on the Right? I just don't buy it.

    1. Did you see Lamb's campaign platform? Young, energetic guy whose platform would have been hardcore Republican 20 years ago against Saccone who seemed to be lifeless and simply thinking he could get by with phoning it in. Plus, Lamb played to the mining unions, who you would think would want to find someone that would play ball with Trump since Trump has done so much for them, but you know how no deed goes unpunished...

I'm tired of the Republicans coasting with shitty candidates.

    2. And the republican is right to work. The election was a big union area so that too may have been a factor.

  4. Crooked Cankles is planning on running in 2020. The Clintons will never go away until they die or they are sent to prison. They need to be investigated over the corrupt Clinton Crime Family Foundation, convicted, and sent to prison. - GOC

  5. Psychological projection much? Trump talks about Hillary non-stop. He's insecure that he lost the popular vote. Well over 2 million MORE voters wanted Hillary--and he'll never get past it. Claims of voter fraud are just something you tell yourselves to feel better. No evidence of voter fraud has been produced. Mueller is coming. November is coming.

    1. Trump got past it and moved on. "She got more votes" is crybaby nonsense. If it were a direct election, Trump would have adjusted accordingly and won. She lost to Obama in 2008, and almost lost to Bernie in 2016. She is a loser.

    2. Correction: In Hillary's case Loser has capital L. And if you want to believe there weren't beaucoup illegal alliens voting in California I have a nice bridge for sale. Cheap. There were also probably a lot of voters who happened to not survive the San Francisco earthquake. - Elric

    3. Hill from hell got 2M illegal alien votes in CA. Eventually illegal aliens will not be counted in the federal census for apportionment of Congress critters for the House of Representatives NOR federal grants to support illegal alien populations maintained to support Democrat power to extort tax money.

    4. hillary won the popular vote by two states-ny and california. Take those two away and she lost the popular vote. NO ONE wants the US to be run by someone elected by ny and california. We WOULD be a basket case if that were so.

Wow. Russian collusion much? Talk about projection, the depth of the irony is staggeringly profound.

    7. Also note that when they started a recount in Michigan, quite a number of precincts came in with more votes for Hillary than the number of voters.
As I recall, they shut down that recount!

    8. He doesn't talk about Hillary very much.
You have no idea if he feels insecure or not.
Proof was produced of voter fraud.
Mueller has been here for a year and we still haven't seen any evidence of Russian collusion.

November is coming though, so you got one thing right.

  8. Dude, seriously, Trump is "that guy". You're "that guy". You're so "over" someone it's all you talk about. If you've moved on, then move on. If you're talking about how "moved on" you are, then you haven't.

    1. Dude, you're so "over" Don Surber it's all you talk about. He lives rent-free in your head.

In the meantime, Don has been chronicling the 45th president from the moment Trump announced. It's what he does because that's what reporters, even retired reporters, do.

    2. The only reason we talk about her is that she won't go away. If she goes away, we'll quit talking about her. Even the Dimocrats wish she would STFU and go away. BTW, Trump talks more about Lieawatha than he does about Crooked Cankles. He's looking to the future and not to the past. - GOC

Actually, if you were to look at that photo without the prior knowledge of Clinton’s “drunken sailor” locomotive technique, it looks not unlike a condemned person being dragged off to jail.

    Or possibly, the Chair.
