U.S. press completely missed Trump's Mideast peace process

"Israeli national security officials sat around the same table on Tuesday morning with their counterparts from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and the United Arab Emirates, discussing a dire humanitarian situation unfolding in the Gaza Strip," the Jerusalem Post reported today.

"The summit on Gaza, called by Jared Kushner, the US president’s son-in-law and senior adviser on Middle East peace, as well as Jason Greenblatt, his special representative for international negotiations, marks an unprecedented moment for Israeli diplomacy, as their dialogue with officials from Arab states is publicly recognized for the first time."

Wow. This may be the first time Saudi Arabia has recognized the existence of Israel.

This is a breakthrough that was hiding in plain sight -- and our dimwitted press missed it. We are the only nation to land on the moon, and we have a caveman press.

Seriously, read their tweets sometime. For people who never were in the infantry, they sure grunt a lot.

From my book, Fake News Follies of 2017, "Presidents Clinton and Obama made day trips to Canada for the first international visit. Bush 43 chose Mexico. President Trump’s first foreign trip was ambitious, beginning with a tour of the centers of the three Abrahamic religions — visiting Saudi Arabia, Israel, and the Vatican — followed by a NATO summit in Brussels and, lastly, a G7 economic summit in Taormina, Italy.

"The Saudis feted the president, embracing his Jewish daughter, Ivanka, and his wife, Melania. The president, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, and Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross sword-danced with the Saudis. This celebrated a deal between the Trump administration and the Saudi regime. Incurious about what the deal was, the press blew it off as just a weird ceremony."

My goodness, the sniping these insufferable, insipid jejunes unleashed.

The ritual was a rally for warriors who were about to engage in battle.

However, what they were about to engage in was diplomacy. Not that artificial gruel the State Department ladles out.

No president really uses them. Adlai Stevenson and Eleanor Roosevelt cluelessly served as ambassadors to the United Nations while Kennedy negotiated directly with Khrushchev.

The Saudis and Israelis have been working together for years. Under the radar. There are no direct flights from Riyahd to Ben Gurion Airport in Lod.

Unless you are Donald Trump. He flew direct. Reporters had to fly to Cyprus and then Israel.

Two scoops for him, one scoop for everyone else -- unless you are the American press. Then you get no scoops. They never saw the significance of what Trump did.

"This was a historic trip, and CNN was there—to get it all wrong, starting with a Saudi pledge to help women worldwide. Jim Sciutto of CNN tweeted, 'This is virtually identical to what Trump and others in GOP criticized Clinton Foundation for,'" I wrote in my book.

An earlier chapter explain the foundation that Ivanka pushed was run by the World Bank. Her only role was in suggesting it and promoting it.

But Sciutto and many others on press row are still butt-hurt over Hillary losing. They ignored her Fake Charity scandal.

And they ignored the true progress in the Middle East, accommodated by President Trump.

Don't get this wrong: the Israelis, Saudis and others are doing the negotiating. This is among them, not us. Our interest is to have them all play nice, and buy our wares.

Trump will never get a Nobel Peace Prize.

But he is bringing peace to the world.

My books are here. Email me at if you want an autographed copy.

  1. I hope Jared brought coffee and left the room so adults with security clearance could discuss matters of national security.

Shouldn't Jared be off trying to help his family raise money to pay 1.2 billion mortgage for their midtown Manhatten office tower boondoggle? ...Ohhhhhh wait right, I forget how he trades US foreign policy for loans...didn't Tillerson object to that? Ohhhh wait right......

    1. You're obviously uniformed. What CNN much?

    2. You definitely watch way to much of the propaganda media, someday you might want to take a peek at reailty outside your bubble

    3. Your liberal tears and lousy spelling are still sweet to us.

  2. Not taking anything away from Rex Tillerson - who I believe to be a good and sincere man doing what he thought best for US interests - it is Jared Kushner who brought first the Arab states together and now the Arab states and Israel. And he's doing it without demanding "look at me" headlines.

    1. And he did it without a TS/TSCI clearance.

We classify and compartmentalize way too much.

I once was in a Secret access presentation and I realized most of the info was already on the internet.

  3. If Trump helps expand piece between Israel and the Arabs (they already have it with Egypt), the press account will credit Obama.

HEADLINE: "Obama's deal with Iran is credited with uniting Saudi Arabia and Israel in peace"

SUBTITLE: "Obama's foresight and patience payoff - show why he earned Nobel Peace Prize"

OPENING LINE: "Trump scrambles, bumbles in trying to take credit for this newfound peace dividend despite still criticizing Obama's Iran deal, which is largely seen by experts as the driver in forging a lasting peace between them
despite Trump tweets almost derailing the Mideast Peace Process and Obama's work"

    Mark my words.

    1. Ah Princeton, you see with clear eyes, for if it wasn't for Obama's prescient foresight, seeing that making Iran more powerful, would bring the enemies of their enemies together, this meeting would have never happened.

And if you believe that, I have a nice piece of property you could purchase right smack dab in the Florida Everglades!

  4. I believe that Trump will never be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Because "feelz". However, if offered, he should turn it down, it having been severely tarnished by Arafat and Obama.

  5. Historic, unprecedently things are happening right before Lib/Proggie eyes and they're still pushing Muh-ler to find dirt. This is not an opposition still faithful to the Constitution, any longer. These are insurrectionist enemies. To arms, my friends, to arms!

  6. It looks to me like this is the beginning of the end for the vermin in the Gaza Strip. Even the Arabs have turned on the so-called "Palestinians." It's time for everybody to get together and Get 'er Done. Once the Gaza Strip and the "West Bank" (Judea and Samaria) are straightened out Hezbollah will be in their sights. I'm thinking a lot of terrorists are beginning to say, "I don't get paid enough for this crappy job." - Elric

  7. It's not so much the press ignoring this, it's more a deliberate wearing of blinders and NOT looking at what's going on there. Blinded by hate, they are.
