Press failed to prepare us for this

Roger L. Simon correctly framed the pension-hampering firing of Andrew McCabe as the beginning of the biggest scandal ever. The Gate of Gates, as he put it.

"The real draining of the Swamp has finally begun. Jeff Sessions may have quietly been engineering it in ways his critics, even Trump himself, didn't realize. It is time for every concerned citizen to keep up the pressure.  At moments like this, it's easy to be cynical and think, oh, this is a good moment, but it will go back to business as usual soon. By thinking that way, you become part of the part of the problem. Don't. Act," Simon wrote.

I believe the man who appointed Sessions is more likely behind this because for all his bluster and exaggerations, Trump knows of which he speaks.

However, Sessions is quite knowledgeable about criminal justice, and should not be dismissed as a prissy gentleman. Think of him as Attorney Sergeant Major Sessions, because as they say of the sergeant major, he does not walk on water but he knows where the rocks are.

Suffice it to say, Trump does not hire idiots. Publicly venting his frustrations with Sessions may well be an act to rope-a-dope Bob Mueller into overplaying his hand.

More likely, it is frustration.

At this point, I cannot say. But I can say this investigation is very meticulous, determined, and leakless. Michael Horowitz, the inspector general that Obama blew off as irrelevant, has the goods on these people.

They spied on Trump. They destroyed incriminating evidence against Hillary. They did what the hell they pleased without any respect to the law or tradition.

Now they have tried cover their tracks with this Fake Russian dossier.

"Further, that a Russia collusion investigation was employed by these people for their nefarious purposes is darkly ironic because their technique itself reeks of Stalin's NKVD. In the case of Mike Flynn particularly, they worked under the famous dictum of Comrade Beria: 'Show me the man and I'll show you the crime,'" Simon wrote.

Ah, but the Fake Crime that the Mueller Star Chamber charged Flynn with is a very real felony committed by McCabe. We have established that lying to investigators is a crime that must be punished.

Hahaha.

All this happened in plain sight. I saw it a year ago when CNN said Trump hired prostitutes to piss on a bed in Moscow the Obamas had slept in. Proving it is another matter entirely, but if I can see it from my laptop in Poca, West Virginia with only DuckDuckGo and a cable channel selector, why couldn't the most expensive and least regulated press in the world?

The public is not prepared for what is about to come down. Marxists hold out hope that by keeping the public in the dark, they can frame this as a political witch hunt.

My guess is that will fail because Americans have an affinity toward the truth.

  1. Unfortunately not all Americans have an affinity for the truth. Thank God enough of them do! Maybe the swamp will get drained. Prayers! And the swamp is passing all the ammunition we need. Now all we need is the will. God bless President Trump and AG Sessions. Now is not the time for America to go any squishier. -- BJ54

  2. How does Simon want us to "Act?" What is it we can do? Call our Congressperson/Senators, volunteer for November, donate to chosen candidate(s), vote - what does Simon have in mind? I'm cynical about helping GOP/RNC as I think they are trying to help Dems get rid of Trump.

    1. As I saw that Paul Ryan’s PAC gave money to the democrat winner in PA’s election last week.

    2. Paul is a card-carrying member of the UniParty. Headed eventually to a posh office on K Street.

    3. Msher is so right, its one big uniparty in Washington and you would have to be blind not to see it. I've noticed how the RNC & DNC have agreed that Trump will be impeached by the House if the democrats take over so we have to send money to the republicrats to ensure Trump stays in office. It seems like they are covering their bases no matter what happens.

  3. When everyone pounced on Sessions, I kept thinking Trump hired him, and is keeping him, for a reason. Trust Trump; he knows what he's doing.

    1. Look back at my comments. I have always believed in Jefferson Beauregard Sessions. He is a good man.

In McCabe's case, it is only a skirmish.

  4. It's true that there are plenty of poorly informed citizens and plenty of misinformed citizens. That said, the election of PDJT despite fierce opposition by Dems, bureaucracy, media, celebs, the professoriate and a shockingly large number of Repub office holders shows that the number of aware citizens is at a high water mark.
We might very well have enough.

    1. The most shocking fact is that Hillary had TWICE as much campaign money. While the media was careful not to point this out, I believe the imbalance indicted that by all historical precedence, Hillary could not lose. And she did.

  5. Democrats love the sin and hate the sinner. Republicans love the sinner and hate the sin.

It will be interesting how much hate democrats will come up with for those in their own party (McCabe, Stroke, Page ... Lynch, Holder, Huma ... Hillary, Obama).

    1. And Comey. Get his 6'7" ass in front of Trey Gowdy and then pass the popcorn. If that goon had any brains he would have STFU and gone back to Bridgewater Capital. But no, Jim's still runnin his fool mouth. Prosecute...with extreme prejudice.

    4. I think you are wrong about Gowdy and see by his actions he no longer wants to be involved with the swamp. Unless he is being vetted to take over as AG I think Gowdy is sincere. Trey has been very even keeled when making accusations and I pay attention to him far more than I do Sundance or Sara Carter.

    5. Gk1 - can you provide one example where someone under Trey Gowdey's investigative committee actually was indicted or held accountable? He made some excellent YouTube speeches regarding Benghazi, but no one was held accountable.
I agree with others here, all hat no cattle.

  6. Sessions said McCabe lied "including under oath". Since the Inspector General doesn't put people under oath, that means McCabe perjured himself before the senior prosecutor Sessions assigned to the case, and they caught him dead to rights doing so.

It has taken a lot longer than we wanted, but this is about to bust wide open. That's why Brennan unleashed his rabid rant--it was actually an admission of guilt. And it was all run out of the Oval Office.

    1. Exactly! I think this is why Trey Gowdy predicted McCabe would be fired and run out of office in short order once the OIG wrapped up its findings. Gowdy had said that over a month ago but it was right after McCabe testified behind close doors to Congress. Its obvious they caught him dead to rights. That McCabe is so stupid as to get into a public spat with Trump shows how confident and arrogant the swamp is that they will escape unscathed.

Trump is continuing the bolshevik control of the US by employing Sessions. Trump looks like a jackass scumbag putz everytime he weeps about herr rosenstein, comrade mueller and heinrich sessions whom he put into and keeps in power. These murderous monsters are part of the orchestrations and coverups of 9/11 mass murder and homeland security gestapo, uranium 1 and klinton foundation, hobama-holder fastnfurious and all the false flag terror murders of parkland, vegas, sandyhook, fort etc.
Trump is being skewered by the mafia govt that took out the kennedys and reagan and installed the 2 homobamas (berri and mikal) in the whitehouse.
Trump better get his sht out or be knocked off the golden pot by GHWBush's mafia family.
