Comey's book could help the prosecution

No one should look forward to the publication of James Comey's book more than Utah U.S. Attorney John Huber. The book could help prosecute the man most responsible for turning the Federal Bureau of Investigation into a wholly owned subsidiary of the Democratic Party.

The book is aptly titled "A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership." That title shows that Comey was loyal to something other than America.

But the key word is lies. He is willing to lie to achieve his allegiance to that higher loyalty.

Given the propensity of Comey to gild the truth, surely his book will be filled with misinformation. That may be where Huber seals the deal in prosecuting Comey, should Huber seek an indictment.

The Amazon promo for the book shows an irony, as it says, "From prosecuting the Mafia and Martha Stewart to helping change the Bush administration's policies on torture and electronic surveillance, overseeing the Hillary Clinton e-mail investigation as well as ties between the Trump campaign and Russia, Comey has been involved in some of the most consequential cases and policies of recent history."

He prosecuted Stewart for lying to a federal official.

He almost ruined her life, and cost her nearly a year in prison over a minor stock transaction.

How can he brush off a lying-to-federal-officials charge?

The liar always traps himself. Always. Lying seems easy, but it is a well that one draws upon that quickly runs dry.

The book very well may do Comey in.

  1. No way. Every word has already been parsed for potential jeopardy perhaps even with media collusion since his lawyer is in the NYT building. If he has some morsel he will save it for plea bargaining if necessary. The book will have nothing new but the media will claim some minor point as death to Trump. More flittimg fireflys. Like Mcabe he needs money and the media dumpster dwellers will help him and themselves to get it.

    1. Both McCabe and Comey are already millionaires several times over. Public service pays very well if you are well connected.

  2. Like teh "Fire & Fury" garbage there will not be any useful information contained. Although I can imagine Comey may want to hold back on a release date until he's sure he won't be charged with perjury.

  3. When the SHTF (and it will!) - it won't matter what either Comey or McCabe are worth. Donald signed his name to a document last December that will get them, and their bucks.

Sports Fans - keep a stock of popcorn. This show is beginning. ANd I do believe every one of us is going to be surprised at all Jeff Beau HAS been doing quietly, without leaks, like the IG.

A Blessed Easter to all! Pax

  4. Comey's made enough lies under oath that his tell all, self aggrandizing book should just be icing on the cake.

  5. "A Higher Loyalty"?

McCabe is writing a book, too:

    "An Asst. Higher Loyalty".

  6. I believe Comey and the gang deserve time at Fort Levenworth or at the least, Club Fed. I also believe that rich and famous Democrats are above the law. Eventually all these investigations will be squelched, sad to say.

  7. "A Higher Loyalty" is obviously a book about the deep state.
