Abortion's role in mass murder

"Woman puts baby up for adoption, he grows up to be a violent young man who will spend the rest of his life in prison for a mass murder. Tell me more about how abortions are wrong," reporter-model (Breitbart's description) Becky Griffin on Twitter.

Steve Jobs.

Jack Nicholson. Ray Liotta. James MacArthur. Lee Majors. Marilyn Monroe.

That's just Hollywood.

Dave Thomas founded Wendy's.

All were adopted.

Blaming pro-lifers for deaths is like blaming anti-tobacco groups for lung cancer.

The reason people oppose abortion is not that they hate women but because they love life. All lives have meaning and purpose at birth, and greatness often comes from the most humble of beginnings.

Abortion cheapens life. As I grow older and experience more of life I realize that there is a God and there is a devil.

Slavery is this nation's original sin, a price still paid 153 years after abolition.

But abortion is its greatest sin, costing us 60 million people. Who knows how many Marilyn Monroes, Dave Thomases, and Steve Jobses we lost.

We may have killed the discoverer of the cure for cancer in the womb.

We may have killed the inventor of the time machine.

We may have killed the greatest president ever.

Abortion is not a right; it is death. One person dies each time am abortionist performs his act.

A nation that kills 60 million people -- the entire population of Great Britain -- will pay the price.

God forgive America.

From Leslie Eastman's review at Legal Insurrection:
Surber, a recovering journalist with over 30 years of experience, has been cataloging the #FakeNews that has been regularly offered as serious analysis of President Donald Trump’s actions, policies, and opinions. He has brought his enormous collection together in the longest, most serious book he has yet written: Fake News Follies 2017.
"Fake News Follies of 2017" is available on Kindle and in paperback.

Autographed copies are available. Email me at DonSurber@GMail.com for details. I am including a "director's cut." I'll email you back the original Chapter 1 that I cut because while the chapter was amusing, it really had nothing to do with the "Fake News Follies of 2017."

Ben Garrison did the cover and I am so happy with it. I told him what the book was about, sent him a copy of the manuscript, and he came up with a perfect cover. I am so pleased.

  2. This is what the late Paul Harvey said about abortion:

    IF

When rape results in pregnancy, or when giving birth might cost the mother's life, few women would fail to consider as an alternative:

    Abortion.

But let's say you're a doctor--a physician not morally adverse to terminating a patient's pregnancy--and the circumstances are neither frivolous nor dire.

Let's say that on a given day you are consulted by two young women, both pregnant, both doubtful as to whether they should be.

Now, remember: such a choice is ultimately the mother's, but because you are a physician, and because your judgment is respected, and because your patient is seeking guidance, everything you say, regardless of how clinically objective--yes, even the tone of your voice--may sway her decision.

Yours is a position of enormous responsibility. Like it or not, the very expression on your face could save or extinguish a life.

  3. Well said, Don. Abortion unless the life of the mother is at stake is an abomination.

    1. A tough line. Very few pregnancies need to be terminated to save the mother. In many cases, the child could be delivered and incubated. We save babies who weigh under a pound. 8 1/2 oz is the current record.
Maybe ectopic pregnancies, but in those cases, the baby is doomed no matter what.

  4. It is also tragic that due to ignorance, many base their vote on this one topic. Even though they are voting against 99 other things they believe in. Abortion trumps it all for them. Sad.

  5. You wonder how many abortions there’d be if each one incurred a mandatory three-score-years-and ten shared deduction from life-expectancies of all concerned.

  6. A while back a commenter thought I used extreme language when I stated my opinion that doctors that keep doing surgeries way past the time they should have quit are in effect murdering some of their patients. In this case it is outright murder. And somewhere in the USA this happens at least a couple of times a day.

Any society that condones its women engaging in irresponsible acts only to go on to endorse then engaging in reprehensible ones to boot can't be long for this world.

  7. Libs should think of these fetuses as their future voters, and want to see them born. But they can't see it that way. Can't understand the possibility. Can't believe in that possibility.

  8. Andrea Bocelli. His mother's doctors had advised abortion. She refused.

  9. Except in certain cases, such as the life of the mother being at risk, there should be only one method of abortion: Kill the mother. There would be an immediate drop in promiscuity, unprotected sex, venereal diseases, unwed mothers, and the accompanying societal problems of children raised without fathers, welfare, food, and housing costs for said unwed mothers, future incarceration costs, and so on down the line. - Elric

  11. Add to the list Celine Dion, the last of 14 children, whose mother considered seriously aborting.

And for that matter, Colin Kaepernick.

  12. I've made plenty of mistakes in my life, but one I didn't make was not leaving my girlfriend (now wife of 35 years) when she got pregnant. No abortion. Abortion is murder. The son we produced just welcomed their first child into the world on 1/26, a two pound preemie, and named her Claire Elizabeth. Funny how things go around and come around.
