Eric Trump burns CNN

Like father like son like brother.

Ivana Kottasová lazily filed another CNN one-sided report on Republicans without giving them a chance to defend themselves.

This time the attackers were the governments of Germany, France, Britain, Spain and Italy, who are lobbying against the Republican tax cut plan.

Kottasová did not allow Republicans to defend themselves against wild charges of breaking trade agreements.

The European countries made the charge without knowing just what is in the tax cut bill because no one does. That's because a conference committee is writing the final bill and deciding on its details.

Nevertheless, she persisted:
Germany, France, Britain, Spain and Italy have written to Treasury Sec. Steven Mnuchin, arguing that tax bills passed by the House and Senate run afoul of treaties and could distort international trade.
"It is important that the U.S. government's rights over domestic tax policy be exercised in a way that adheres with international obligations to which it has signed-up," the letter states. It was signed by the countries' finance ministers.
The letter argues that proposed changes to the U.S. tax code could give American companies an advantage over foreign rivals.
Eric Trump took to Twitter to give the Republican side, saying:
My favorite sentence in the article: “The letters argue that proposed changes to the U.S. tax code could give American companies an ADVANTAGE over foreign rivals.” Isn’t that the point?
Make America Great Again.

Of course, CNN does not want a great America -- although when Saddam Hussein was alive, CNN wanted to Make Iraq Great.

Usually Junior does the hit. This time, Eric did.

I await the day Barron gets in on the action. The tweet will be in Slovenian, right?

Please enjoy my two books about the press and how it missed the rise of Donald Trump.

The first was "Trump the Press," which covered his nomination.

The second was "Trump the Establishment," which covered his election.

  1. How f**ked up do you have to be to think it's abdominal to put America first, and that's the position of just about every democrat. There is no way the divide in this country can ever be close to becoming bridged when one side thinks America should subvert it's interests in order for the rest of the world to view us more favorably. Period.
