Ending net neutrality nets MSNBC anchors bonuses

I realize $1,000 is not much to the millionaires row in MSNBC's lineup of presenters.

But these left-of-Lenin lemmings will receive $1,000 bonuses as part of Comcast's bonus program celebration of the Tax Cut and Jobs Act of 2017, as well as the Federal Communications Commission's rescission of the onerous and unconstitutional net neutrality regs that gave the federal government control of the Internet.

From the Verge:
Comcast today announced that it would be doling out $1,000 employee bonuses in response to the Federal Communications Commission’s repeal of net neutrality rules last week, as well as the Senate and House’s passing of Republicans’ tax reform bill poised to provide a substantial windfall to wealthy Americans and corporations.

Comcast says it plans to spend “in excess of $50 billion” over the next five years investing in infrastructure and building out physical broadband plants and funding entertainment ventures in TV and film. The news coincides with AT&T’s similar announcement today that it plans to give 200,000 employees $1,000 bonuses each in response to tax reform. AT&T did not mention the FCC or net neutrality, but as an ISP the company stands to benefit in ways similar to Comcast.
That $50 billion investment will improve Comcast's services as it struggles to survive cord cutting.

Customers are leaving because of price and a Stalinist customer service operation.

This encapsulates what President Trump is doing to stimulate the economy. He is letting companies keep more of the money they earn, while eliminating barriers to business such as net neutrality.

Even the Marxist millionaires at MSNBC will benefit.

  1. My son and his (pregnant!) wife flew into Dulles early yesterday morning and we picked them out. So proud of that guy when he announced, yesterday afternoon, that his friends are all saying the net neutrality repeal will be horrible. His response? "Let the market work." Best Christmas present I'll get this year.

    1. Yep. That's a great joy but that grandkid is your legacy.

    2. Well, well said, Big D. Most all of their Gen X friends are having kids out in Flagstaff AZ too. In my mind that's a boots-on-the-ground confirmation that people feel good about where we're heading. Another win for Mr. T! STILL ain't tired of winning, Mr. T!!

  2. I've read a lot of complaints about Comcast. Which means a LOT of fixing to do.

  3. Pretty funny! While the smirking faces of Rachel Maddow and her ilk tell you how you are going to be screwed because of Trump's tax cut, it appears that even she will receive a bonus because of it! What a joke! What a liar! Maddow you are priceless in your nastiness and stupidity!

    1. Maddow should put her money where her mouth is and refuse the bonus. Because principles!
