America leaves the media behind

Kurt Schlichter seldom disappoints. Lawyer, retired infantry colonel, novelist, and columnist, he grasped the Trump voter before anyone else. His column this week was durn good.

His target was Media Approved Conservatives. Their hatred of Trump amused him.

"In one week, Trump crushed the cultural left in the Battle of the NFL, decertified Iran, pulled us out of the PLO-hugging fiasco that is UNESCO, gutted Obamacare, and dissed that simpering weasel Bob Corker. Sad? We’re freaking thrilled," Schlichter wrote.

But Trump cannot please these fleas on a weasel.

Part of it is that they are phonies.

Part of it is that if they cheer him, he is out of a job. Liberals don't cotton to having real conservatives write for them.

From Schlichter:
You know what you won’t find in the major papers or on the mainstream networks, besides timely exposés of Democrat megadonors who are also megaperverts? Conservative columnists who don’t foam at the mouth over Donald Trump and who actually support conservative policies. Instead, you’ll find a bunch of journalistic Jeb!s, because the liberals hiring them know that squishes gonna squish.
Look, far be it from me to tell my enemy when it’s making a mistake, but because the media only hires nominal conservatives who already agree with liberals, liberals have no idea what real conservatives think or why. This is the reason they end up baffled when they lose and lose and lose again – sure, Felonia von Pantsuit was also stupid and drunk, but you get the point. As Sun Tzu observed, and I believe this is a verbatim translation from the original Chinese text, a wise general must seek to know and understand the true nature and schemes of his enemy lest he end up as forlorn and humiliated as a foxy fern in the Miramax head office.
Yep. General Tzu said know thyself and know thy enemy. Trump knows both. He spent four decades in the media capital of the world and played the media last year like Eric Clapton on guitar.

This year, Trump is Clapton, Hendrix, and Jimmy Page jamming.

Video killed the radio star.

Arrogance killed the conservative star.

In 2015 and 2016, Fox News trotted out Krauthammer, George Will, Steve Hayes, Jonah Goldberg, and all a score of other tough-talking, meek-walking conservatives who lectured us about how Trump was a bane of humanity. I believe Karl Rove's exact words were he and his deplorable supporters are "racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic — Islamophobic — you name it."

Maybe someone else said it.

But that is what the consensus was.

Americans ignored them. Americans nominated Trump. Americans elected him. Americans support him.

Why are these men on TV?

Who do they represent?

What do they bring to the table that liberals are not already trying to unload?

They think Americans are dumb enough to fall for the Fake Conservatism.

Trump is kicking ass and taking names, while these butt-heads complain about his steel-toed boots.

His big crime is not his demeanor, his language, or his style.

What tortures these Media Approved Conservatives is that he is doing the things that they said they wanted a Republican president to do.

  1. While I still don't much care for the persona he projects, my attitude toward him is much like Lincoln's toward Grant, "I can't spare this man, he fights." That's the part I like. I hope he chooses his battles wisely, but he does fight with conviction.

    1. President Trump is indeed a "fighter" and he loves America, something we who elected him, love him for.....and something the GOPe does not have one clue about! MSM does not even suspect anything!

The swamp is already drained more than I thought it would be by now and.......the draining process is exposing way more rot than we ever knew existed.

The history books will give Trump high marks for saving America from the ash heap of socialism....one day!

  4. Kurt writes one of these types of articles a week, sometimes two. Really need to turn the page on pointing out the prejudiced leftist media. It's become a caricature of itself. Kids in middle school laugh about it and the nonsense their teachers are filling them full of.

Today's news should be about John Solomon disclosing that the FBI has evidence of collusion in the 2010 US deal with the Russians over US uranium resources. That collusion included payoffs, bribes and favors between members of the Obama administration, Russian businesspeople and officials, and Canadian businesspeople. It found its way to Bill Clinton and The Clinton Foundation, at a time when Hillary Clinton was SOS.

Of course the MSM is not covering it. But why is the pro-Trump media continuing to pull the low hanging fruit of finger-pointing at the MSM? Why not share this breaking story with readers/viewers?

Al Gore's new movie and book are failures. The average American knows imminent disaster is BS. Climate Scientist Roy Spencer and others collaborated on a book - 'An Inconvenient Deception: How Al Gore Distorts Climate Science and Energy Policy'. Last I looked it was outselling Gore's book 3-1 on Amazon. Point being that it was one thing in the old Soviet Union to talk about Pravda being nothing but propaganda. People on both sides knew that. What the population was thirsting for was the truth. Long been time for American patriots to focus on that. We know the MSM lies and distorts, and don't need any new examples.

It's worse than that: not only did the FBI know about the bribery and extortion as early as 2009, it played a central role in the corruption by asking an American businessman to PAY the bribes and kickbacks; and then the DoJ covered up the FBI's role by offering the Russian government agent a sweetheart plea deal in 2014 so he would't have to go to trial, where the FBI's role would have been revealed. This was another illegal "Fast and Furious"-like scheme of law breaking by the Obama administration. And guess who ran this illegal scheme at the FBI? Why it was Bob Mueller and Rod Rosenstein, the current Deputy AG, the very guys who are now investigating Donald Trump for "collusion with the Russians." As far as real evidence goes, the only people who can be said to have actually colluded with the Russians are the Clintons and Mueller and Rosenstein.

  6. Schlischter has become a must read. Billy-Boy Krystal is another major loser in the Kraut-Goldberg-Will clique.

  7. Trump is doing what he can, but his hands are somewhat tied by a Benedict Arnold Republican Establishment in Congress. Of course he can do what Obama did: legislate by Executive Order.

Too bad Schlister was anti-Trump before the election. And he continues cuckish virtue signalling to this day (so that the bien pensants know Kurt isn't vulgar like Trump)
