Trump is Big Daddy to Macron

President Trump nailed the G20 Summit, rallying the Poles, getting Putin to cease fire in Syria, and showing the free world who their new daddy is.

From the Telegraph:
Emmanuel Macron jostles his way to the front of G20 photo to stand by Donald Trump
The lying American media gave out Fake News about Macron confronting Trump. But the fact is, world leaders admire Trump.

We saw this at his first NATO summit. He demanded they raise their defense spending to what they promised. They now are ponying up.

World leaders admire and respect him. He works hard. He has built things. He has done things outside of politics. He is the epitome of the American ideal.

The free world can count on America again.

French President Macron invited Trump to attend Bastille Day with him.

Wow.

That is an amazing thing. A French president being nice to a U.S. president is unusual. I cannot recall a French president showing an American president such respect. DeGaulle and Mitterand snubbed us all the time.

But there it is.

From Politico:
President Donald Trump has accepted an invitation from French President Emmanuel Macron to visit the nation on Bastille Day next week, the White House said Wednesday.
“President Trump looks forward to reaffirming America’s strong ties of friendship with France, to celebrating this important day with the French people, and to commemorating the 100th anniversary of America’s entry into World War I,” the statement said. “The two leaders will further build on the strong counter-terrorism cooperation and economic partnership between the two countries, and they will discuss many other issues of mutual concern.”
Trump spoke by phone with Macron on Tuesday. According to the White House, he congratulated the French president on “France’s successful parliamentary elections” during the call and complimented his French counterpart “for his leadership of the new political party that secured a majority in the French National Assembly and wished him luck in launching his legislative agenda.”
Trump is the last great hope for the world. If the American experiment fails, the world is doomed.

And Macron knows this.

  1. Bastille Day is next week (July 14), not next month. That said....
Macron's invitation indicates that European governments are rejecting Merle's anti-Trump opposition and moving toward accommodation. Good.

    1. Thanks. It was a Politico report in June but I fixed it anyway for the sake of clarity.

If we had an honest media, what would the world look like?

When a guy who marries a woman old enough to be his mother wants his picture taken with a guy who married a woman young enough to be his daughter.

  6. "Trump is the last great hope for the world. If the American experiment fails, the world is doomed." Yes, Don, I believe that even though I was not a Trump supporter until the nomination process was completed. The path that Obama and HRC were taking and their professed desires for future laws and regulations impacting out freedoms and rights would have caused our experiment to fail or resulted in a civil war.
As Jefferson wrote, "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots." A grandson is on his way to Korea and is the 5th generation to serve. A son is still in the Army, and the Army is asking for volunteers to go to Korea before being subject to getting orders to Korea. I hope that their blood will not be spilled, but if it is, those of us in the US mainland will not be spared either I fear, for those of my blood are part of the trip wire for all out war and the end being the destruction of the civilized world.

  9. Maybe Macron just wants to line up asylum for himself when the Fifth Republic falls.

  10. Well it's understandable since Trump is one of the only people in that group who have actually accomplished anything.
