Six months of failure -- by the press

Today marks the end of the first six months of the presidency of President Trump -- a golden era for America in which the economy grows, illegal aliens leave, the Islamic State withers, and patriotism returns.

This drives the media crazy.  The billionaires behind the biggest newspapers -- Jeff Bezos, Carlos Slim, and Sir Rupert Murdoch -- do not want to Make America Great Again, and will stop at nothing to sabotage our great country.

Television is even worse.

Remember the story about urinating hookers?

That was a lie.

Remember the story about tossing Martin Luther King's bust from the Oval Office?

That was a lie.

Remember the story about a "Muslim ban"?

That was a lie.

Remember the story about the 27-cent foreclosure?

That was a lie.

Remember the Washington Post story, "Russian operation hacked a Vermont utility, showing risk to U.S. electrical grid security"?

That was a lie.

Remember the story about his vote fraud expert registering to vote in three states?

That was a lie.

Remember the story about Republicans letting the mentally ill buy guns?

That was a lie.

Remember the story about rape being a pre-existing condition?

That was a lie.

Remember when they said Obama did not wiretap Trump?

That was a lie.

Remember the story about Comey refuting Trump?

That was a lie.

Remember the story about story about Melania slapping away Trump's hand?

That was a lie.

Remember the story about story about Ivanka getting $100 million from the Saudis?

That was a lie.

Remember the story about story about Ivanka being booed?

That was a lie.

I could go on, but readers know the truth, which is the media lies, lies, lies, lies, and lies about our President, Donald John Trump.

He has succeeded in wiping away Barack Obama's nihilistic orders and scorched Earth, last-minute regulations. Trump kneecapped Obamacare by ending mandatory coverage, made NATO meet its financial obligations, and crippled Putin's economy by offering to sell oil and natural gas to Europe.

Obama's legacy now is nothing more than a page on Instagram of selfies.

America is stronger today than it has been in 10 years.

America's borders are more secure today than they have been in 10 years.

The American economy is stronger today than it has been in 10 years.

That is success. That is winning. That is what we elected Trump to do.

Trump supporters know the truth. They see through the lies and negativity, which have been going on for two years.

A post-election study by the liberal Harvard Kennedy School’s Shorenstein Center found 77 percent of the news coverage of him was negative, while only 64 percent of the coverage of her was negative. A study by the conservative Media Research Center found 91 percent of the coverage of Trump was negative, which the center said negated his getting 40 percent more airtime than she did.

With his election, the media went all out for him. The Shorenstein Center reported 80 percent of the coverage of President Trump was negative in his first 100 days.

For Obama’s first 100 days, the press coverage was 41 percent negative.

The media cannot handle that the people elected Donald Trump president.

It is time we told the media:
You have no power here. Begone! Before somebody drops a house on you!

Caution: Readers occasionally may laugh out loud at the media as they read this account of Trump's election.

  1. A very fine recap, Big D. My grade for Mr. T thus far is a solid A. Only quibble has been some personnel issues. I'd have David Clarke as AG, with Don Willet and Glenn Reynolds warming up as the next SCOTUS nominee, and totally get rid of any/all Obummer people still in senior Executive Branch positions. All of em. Otherwise, we're lookin good...damn good.

Now you've done it! That Sourass woman and her hundred's of followers will be marching from your house to the DOJ. Sessions will probably take all your worldly goods after he finds out about you saying bad things. If you will send Dana Holgorsen back, I'm sure Gov Abbott will see about helping you keep the convertible.

  8. There is a solution. Cancel the newspaper. Cut the cable. Don't go to movies. It all sucks, anyway.

  9. I'm not sure that Rupert - or, as our local MSM affectionately call him, Eeeevil Darth Murdoch - is the problem. Lachlan, the next generation, is taking charge and swinging all the family business left.
