CNN no longer is a news channel

Just as MTV no longer shows music videos 24 hours a day, CNN has devolved into something less than a news channel.

The devolution is for the same reason -- ratings. Just as the high ratings for "Ancient Aliens," and "Pawn Stars" have driven the History Channel out of the history business, so bashing the president on Fake News about Russia have driven CNN out of the news business.

From Breitbart:
CNN’s morning show New Day spent 93 percent of their airtime discussing a meeting between Donald Trump Jr. and a Russian lawyer, a report from the Media Research Center’s news analysis division has revealed.
The program, which aired on Wednesday [July 12] from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. ET, spent 93 percent of the show discussing Donald Trump Jr’s decision to release a series of private emails from June 2016, exchanged before he met with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya, who promised him damaging information on Hillary Clinton’s campaign.
Remember, CNN calls Breitbart Fake News.

So what was the big, all-important news on July 12 that forced "New Day" to cover The Donald like the morning dew?
White House Under Siege After E-mails Bombshell
Oh no. Two days earlier, Donald Trump Jr. released e-mails that showed he was not in cahoots with Vladimir Putin, Lenin, or Anna Chapman.
ALISYN CAMEROTA, CNN ANCHOR: We want to welcome our viewers in the United States and around the world. This is NEW DAY. It is Wednesday, July 12, 6 a.m. here in New York. It's a very busy news day. So here is our starting line.
The Trump White House dealing with snowballing revelations about Donald Trump Jr.'s meeting with a Russian lawyer during last year's campaign. There are now multiple press reports of turmoil among the president's inner circle about how to handle this crisis, amid finger pointing and chaos.
The president's son breaking his silence, admitting that he would do things differently if he had the chance. The newly-released e-mails are the clearest proof yet that Trump Jr. understood that the meeting was meant to get dirt on Hillary Clinton from the Russian government, despite most of the White House dismissing any collusion allegations as fake news and a witch hunt.
CHRIS CUOMO, CNN ANCHOR: CNN has learned that the special counsel, Robert Mueller, and his investigators are going to be looking into those e-mail exchanges and that meeting that Trump associates had with the Russian lawyer. And in fact, it would be a surprise if he were not going to look into these.
We've also learned that those e-mails were discovered as Jared Kushner and his legal team were preparing for him to testify before Congress.
That bombshell and these other revelations are distracting from the president's agenda once again. He has an upcoming trip to France that's going to start tonight. Why is the president not been seen in public since returning from the G-20 over the weekend? Maybe these e- mails have something to do with that.
We have it all covered for you. Let's begin with Jason Carroll, live at the White House -- Jason.
Finger pointing!

Collusion allegations!

Chaos!

Investigators!

"It would be a surprise if he were not going to look into these."

For the next three hours, these dimwits went on and on and on about e-mails.

This is not news. This is a soap opera. "As The Donald Turns."

Every cable customer in America pays -- on average -- $10 a year in tribute to CNN to have this garbage beam into their home whether they watch this or not.

Cut the cord.

It was a month before my family noticed that I had shut it off anyway. They stream whatever entertainment they want anyway.

  7. We cut the cord about 5yr ago (DirecTV). Recently, DirectTV Now offered a free month of streaming. I figured, what the hey, maybe there was something I missed. Give it a try!

    There was nothing I missed.

  9. Luckily, OJ is getting paroled so he can resume his search for the real killer and the search for MH370 has revealed stuff under the water. Hopefully, CNN will morph into the Road Runner/Bugs Bunny Channel.
